because bitcoin can be send to wallet anytime for cash, while other crypto needs to be exchange in bitcoin first,alt coins (some) are not strong enough to stay on the market while bitcoin is well estabilize and the votality ofthe price is really on moving up maybe have a bit dump but will surely pump again. unlike other coins, but if you are on the trade market you will go with alts..

My opinion why People is much attracted to bitcoin rather than any other crypto currency because the following reasons:
1. The bitcoin is all the father of the crypto currency. other crypto's are just copy.
2. Many predictions of well know bitcoin enthusiast that the price of bitcoin would continue to rise.
3. The market and price is stable compared to other crypto currency
4. Many business establishments or online store accept bitcoin as a payment.
5. People thinks, if they will invest in bitcoin, they can earn big profit for their investment once the price continuously to rise.

because other "cryto currency" also known as altcoins are not known to anyone outside of the bitcoin circles. whenever the media is talking about crypto currency they are talking about bitcoin!
additionally the altcoins are mostly pretty terrible. they are made to be pumped and dumped so they are not really something people are interested in.

Because if we say crypto currency the sounds of Bitcoin rings high even from the tone of top of businessmen like Bill Gates, Former President Obama etc.
Comparing to other crypto currencies like alt coin/uno coin/Euro coin etc bitcoin takes a peak role even bitcoin is visible in one among the currencies in Google.

cause media only talk about bitcoin , sometimes they mention ETH but most of the time it's only bitcoin so there is 0 chance for new comer to know about other cryptocurrencies IMO
while bitcoin is suffering with the transactions and high fees , people still tending to over trust alts cause all of them have some issue like pre mine and unknown cap
and since bitcoin is number 1 in marketcap that's alone make people tend to buy it more than other currencies

I agree to this one the whole world of media is only feeding bitcoin whats sad is what they are feeding information are the bad news so people tend to fear what the crypto currencies are.. instead of knowing the real capabilities and what is the good side they are confused..

Most likely because bitcoin is one of the first cryptocurrencies, and probably the fact that it's much more stable than most other cryptocurrenices. Also it's used by more people, so that probably attracts more people as it's accepted more widely and such. Overall bitcoin is worth more as well than every other crypto that I know of.
