The hype brought it to the market that's why it created mass demand to people wanted to ride the train of NFT's, same to DeFi project few months back. With the currently play of NFTs especially Axie Infinity it boosted their project because people wanted to get hands of that play-to-earn schemes and I am not gonna lie, I playing axie infinity now and it hooked me up. Hoping their platform will be standing for a long-term and I believe they will be.

Whenever they create some NFT games is as if Axie is mandatory to use as a good marketing strategy. If you go right now to youtube, they always link in the title the name Axie to bait their audiences. Unlike the other games that have recently emerged, the only NFT game that would list in as the same game as Axie is Splinterlands because it has been here with us for years same as axie. the other NFT games are on their beta testing but already playable lots of bugs and errors are their problem.

Because it's a trend. Right now, for example, Blockster is holding a contest for a limited edition NFT collection. https://blockster.com/blockdesk/1402_blockster-is-launching-a-new-nft-campaign-in-collaboration-with-enjin

Sometime the price of NFT doesn't make sense and make me wonder, rocks NFT also priced so high maybe some rich people is interested in NFT so they buy those random NFT art for such high price but if it's an NFT for game, it's usually for playing the game and can give return of investment if the game let you earn by staking or playing like VulcanVerse.

I just wonder why people buying NFT artworks like cryptopunks.
I also can't understand why people spend so much money on images that have no purpose or meaning. Just some cartoons LOL

I actually own some NFT games accounts like CB, Axie, Dpets because I am earning from it..
Of course play to earn NFTs are good and nowadays it is trending because one can earn good money by playing games.

It's just NFT hype. I am still out of NFT buying but i am not against of NFT. The art work lovers also loves NFT and they want to collect unique piece of art which is from NFT using cryptocurrency. Many people consider NFT is the future of cryptocurrency. But i am not accustomed to NFT hype.
Supply and demand were there and like I said, it was just another form of people want to invest early in artworks or artists and claim the ownership. You don't need to accustomed to NFT hype. Just follow the trail of money and find some really good pieces of art and investing in.

Because the NFT artworks are unique and limited as we know that if anything is limited and unique all will try to buy so the hype will be created and it will be sold at a high price. And this is also the hobby of many people that they keep unique things. So it can be reson of buying NFTs.

this is clearly the effect of NFT which is easy to hype and pumps quickly, why do people put assets in large amounts if it is because of hype and wants to get big profits. but in addition to only the profit factor NFT also has a good system, there are lots of concepts of coins that use NFT and it's like a new concept that attracts many people to join there
It's not just Hype, but purely because of the positive trend where everyone welcomes NFT very well so that the NFT users become very large which causes the recovery in the market to be faster, that's why NFT looks stronger now.

NFT for artworks is sort of how artworks are in real life. Basically, people view and judge those art pieces like how arts are being appreciated by the eyes of the beholder. Some think a few certain artists will going far in the future so they hoarding artworks from that artist in NFT as an investment. You know how artworks from a long-dead artist sold for a ridiculous amount, right?

Honestly, it is just a way to make money. The first NFT stuff were just pictures and that made zero sense, which is why I understand why everyone stayed away, I stayed away from them as well, why would I pay so much money for just a picture. However, these days there are stuff like axie infinity where you pay 200+ dollars to get an axie and you get 3 of them and then you keep on grinding more and more to make money. If people breed more and sell them, then they are going to make profit, if they do not breed more than the SLP price would go down and they would lose money, but if the SLP prize goes down they could simply just buy a bit more of that and then breed for cheaper as well.

Right now, the minimum breeding cost is about 180 bucks or so, and that means every time you breed an axie you will make 20+ dollars profit minimum, and that is just breeding, you can also play the game and make a lot of money as well. Long story short it is definitely profitable nowadays, and that is why there are a lot of demand for it.

People are only buying NFTs because of the hype. They don't care about the utilitarian value of an NFT. The public only cares about making a lot of money in the least time possible. Right now, the hottest NFTs are mostly in-game items. Digital arts/paintings and other collectibles are left behind for good. Expect to see new NFTs pop up every once in a while, as popularity grows like there's no tomorrow. NFTs with intrinsic value will survive in the long run, while the rest will go down the drain. If you're planning on buying NFTs, you should do your own research before making the move. Otherwise, you could lose a lot of money in the process as NFTs are widely unpredictable (just like crypto). Just my thoughts Grin

I think people are buying such NFT artworks for the same purpose that they will buy it in real life. I also used to wonder why people would pay for actual artworks and with time I started to understand why. Some of them are being bought as a collection and people will use them to form a collection library, as time goes on these people may decide to sell these collections and make money from it as well, the worth will keep increasing.

So, NFT imitates the same thing, they are buying them as a collection and they might decide to sell them later, whatever their choice may be. And also I think that you can also profit from NFT artworks you buy when people download and share any artwork you own.

It's surprising mate because it's trending around the internet and alot of people really take the advantage since most of the feedbacks are good when it comes NFT. and investors really made good return from it because of the hypes nowadays wherein still very amazing actually, especially when it comes short period of time, the profits that can be made is like more than months of holding compared to some token in the market. Lol so for me its not surprising tbh why investor really going crazy in it right now.

We are in NFT season why won't people buy NFT? Its clear that NFT projects are pumping here and there bringing many gains to their investors as we speak, though there are scam NFT projects but there are also reliable ones either Art or in game NFT tokens
Yes exactly NFT's are in trend these days and are growing rapidly and we all see this as a very good investement opportunity so why would not people buy NFTs.
Yes there are scams but there are some very interesting and greats ideas in some of the projects which are worthy investing.
Well, NFT is mostly a farm game world with hard work being the top factor for cashback, can also imagine us as new generation miners with diggers that are characters and accessories in NFT games, the official profit is only generated after the payback is completed, buying early will be a conscious act of those who understand the essence of the game. New cryptocurrencies are very detrimental to the long game, their future stage is few and lacks a leader and users need to exploit them optimally before they announce bankruptcy in value.
