I also thining about it sometimes... I think that people scam mainly because of easy money. They only want to earn huge money with the low cost of money and energy. Crypto world is even easier way for them to do this because of more anonymity, decentralization and you know.
They think it is easy money.
It is a human instinct to seek methods to get an advantage without doing any work.

You should change the topic title as why people are so selfish. Base on OP, I don't see any direct point saying "why people scam."
Anyway, the point of view of people who are not donating some money to people who are just begging is that those will become dependant instead of finding a job, a decent one, instead of just opening your hand while sitting in the streets waiting for someone to give them a coin.
Those who deserve to receive donations are those who are facing health issues like cancer but they can't afford it, those who are working hard yet still it is not enough and etc.
Unrelated to the title though. Here in the Philippines, there is an ordinance or a memorandum I think, that citizens should not be giving alms to the poor. For the reason that we only tolerate their acts by giving to them so as to prevent their total depndence to it. In the Bible, it was said that instead of giving fish, why not teach them how to fish? This way they will not starve to death. People scam because they are in need an instant money. Or maybe because when they tried to deceive someone at first, they successfully tricked him, so that's why that they tried to scam for other people again.
People scam because they are the person who do not know how to work legally, those people should be put in jail and stop fooling people because it just a money. People should be more careful nowadays.
First reason why people scam is they want easy and quick money. We will not be able to figure out who is which we will just be able to know that they are scammer when they already scammed someone or someone reported them as a scammer with a proof. We cannot do anything about the behavior of individual lets just pray for their soul and just be careful on every trades you do to avoid getting scammed.

People did this because yhey somehow want to earn money in a very easy and quick way. And of course I think most of the people who actually make a scamming issue us the people who are not aware that they are eaten by the attitude in being a greedy person that only want to earn and dosn't overcome their attitude.

I think because many people are actually doesn't overcome the stage of eaten by the greed when he actually believes that they somehow earned big and will earned big and easy if they scam people and didn't actually work for it. Many people did this kind of earning and then end up tragically.
People are scamming because they are desperate to have an easy and quick money. And once they started to try it, then will have a very big encouragement that life goes on that way and they'll do it again. But if you are a person that is believing in KARMA or opposite reaction in life. This type of criminal act will be returning the favor to you in a negative factor and result. And those lazy scammers will be enjoying that negative result soon.

I agree with you. But sometimes the only choices they have to make living is that in this way scamming people although they know this is evil work. Sometimes the fear of being rejected by the society force some them to do evil works like scamming to earn money.

Yes your right getting a job is not possible to everyone but it doesn't mean you are going to scam they scam because of there laziness all of us was given an opportunity to work but we don't mind it because of our laziness. The question is you need money then work for it don't scam those who work hard and your just going to scam ehat they earned. people scam because they want easy money in the expense of others. these kind of people does not belong to this world. they should be punished harshly because they cause someone to be aggravated or sometimes be depressed. for as there are people like this, there will still be a lot of people to get scammed.

Each of us are unique. Not every people are all good at helping others. But not because they didn't help you is you will the same as what they did to you. Just do the right thing to other people. God will blessed for such good deeds.
