I am not sure what other currencies that can be beaten by bitcoin that you were saying - is it other altcoins or fiat money? Bitcoin had been noticed by lots of people and by big investors already and some government officials area already have some knowledge about bitcoin and yes, it will only be the time can tell in the coming years whether or not bitcoin will soar ven higher or not.

of course bitcoin is not made for that.
it is a currency first of all and that makes it the same as any other currency, people use them to pay for all kinds of things. you can pay for your bills or buy drugs with both USD and BTC. not much difference there.

I have seen thousands of posts and comments regarding uses of bitcoin in porn and gambling. You can find it in this forum with minimum effort too. I know bitcoin has great potentials and I also know that there are some bad user of bitcoin like any other currency. But my point is, those bad users are a lot in number. And as bitcoin is not globally adopted, those users really play great impact on impression of btc, I guess

Take it easy friend, is their bitcoin let them do what they wish. Bitcoin is far beyond the usage of few negative minds that used it for negative things. Don't forget people also use fiat to buy drugs or make payments for porn sites also. I believe bitcoin is reshaping how people will use money in the future. Don't let the activities few negative people with bitcoin ruin your day. Use bitcoin the way you like it and let rest of the world use it too... That's what is called freedom!

Isn't it obvious? Why would anyone want to hide their financial transactions/income? To be taxed! And in this world where taxes are so super high, it makes sense to go under the radar. Just know that the NSA has been monitoring all bitcoin transactions since 2013, so you will want to use anonimity coins like monero, dash or deeponion.

I think this is quite easy question. Some people have more possibilities to earn bitcoin than fiat money. Some of them also don't like to make business with banks and stay more or less anonimous when making transactions which is not possible with fiat money. And if you want to buy something on dark markets you can't do that with fiat money.

It is not made for that. But come to think of this. Money is also use the same way as that. I think no matter what we create, if it can be use for that reason the drug addicts, the porn viewer etc, will not stop on using it. It just made the transaction illegally more convenient too. It is unregulated and I think nothing can stop them from doing that or us in taking advantage of its convenience.

But bitcoin is not made purely because of thta it is a great blockchain use for convenience of the holder.

With bitcoin, there are really more features and opportunities to be made at this point in time than with fiat money where it will just keep on losing its value due to inflation because of overproducing of fiat paper while bitcoin has a max limit which makes it more valuable if we look at it.

In terms of making money bitcoin is a great investment, when majority of the users are very satisfied with the technology they will help us spread the good news and the next thing will happen is an increase in demand. We as investors if we buy at the current price now we will get more profit in the future as with the limited supply there is a chance of decreasing due to lost supply while demand is efficiently increasing.

It could be that people choose bitcoin because of it, but not a few also those who really use bitcoin well.
Misuse of bitcoin as you discuss it does seem to me to harm the bitcoin itself, it is what makes the state alert and does not legalize bitcoin just to overcome the bitcoin misuse of its users.

Do you think no one can track the source of transaction in Bitcoin system? Nope, in present, Bitcoin can not does that and it has proves by the incident of a large exchange for miner and UG is BTC-e exchange in few months ago.

I do agree that bitcoin transactions anonymousity cannot be track easily due to it's secured and confidential transaction system. Banks had it's own information tracks, but with bitcoin's decentralized type of currency it remained safe of any possible terrorism attacks like those hackers online. Most people trusted bitcoin nowadays over fiat systems and in fact that's the most sources of funds right now and it's been sustaining for years.

Hello all. Problem is not in the Bitcoin. The problem is in the people and how they use bitcoins or some knowledge. I also can say that people who kill other people with knife have a negative impact on the reputation people who sell knives or who make knives it every day. You don't need feel bad yourself about this. Normal people can understand that blockchain technology is awesome! Of course it can be used on different negative way but this is not our problem! Wink
