there so many reason why increasing a suicide especially to the teenagers , first is the bully in the school because it will cause a big impact to their psychological effect to there mind like a negative mind and depression. People with a depression has a big or large anxiety in such things that they experience many of them has a double or triple problems that it will be cause a more stress for them to think what should they be doing or be the answers to their problems. In this people in the surroundings should be careful or be alert to there family member or love ones or the people that they close with such us school friends they should be aware that if they see a something that is not in normal that person has struggiling with the own problem maybe it will increase if people must be alert and aware to helped that person that they should be make that person feel that she/he is not alone that be informed that he/she not the only one person that has a problems it should be make that person that she or he is not alone that make that person know that all problems has a answers that person should be patient to wait and be also feel that many people love that person that we should treat them that they want them to be in a good that they should be always reminded that we are here in beside to them for the safety of there feeling. Always remember that we should always talk to them for also to that person be feel that he/she is in a calm that she/he didn't make something bad to themselves.

Depressions and low self-esteems are one of the reasons why there are a lot of suicide cases.
I super agree Smiley. Number one reason Is being depressed . Another is they are lack of love from their love ones or maybe lack of attention.

I think people get more and more individual, so we have problems to see when someone is depressed. As a consequence, we often open our eyes when it's too late.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide, which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds.

Suicide is  a psychological issue. In this modern era, people want to be acknowledged or appreciated because of the persistent struggles and having to deal with not getting in touch with our friends and family for a long time. It plunges an individual into a state of loneliness and depression. And people normally do not notice it. Before you realize it's too late. We assume our friends are strong and happy because we see them putting on a smiley face but in all honesty, people are really dealing with things in their closet

I think suicide cases are already many back in the day and people just think it's increasing because it can be spread throughout social media easily. Loneliness always play a big factor for them to do it.

Suicide is increasing because our culture has lost its moorings. wee need to acknowledge that the exploding suicide rate among Americans and Washingtonians will  not be solved through a growing economy or greater mental health funding. As long as individuals continue to disconnect from the relationships, communities and truth that provide meaning to life, suicide will continue becoming more prevalent.

In Europe, particularly Eastern Europe, the highest suicide rates are reported for both men and women. The Eastern Mediterranean Region and Central Asia republics have the lowest suicide rates.

Eastern Europe is the hardest hit, as you can see from the stats below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_by_suicide_rate

Some sources have claimed that Lithuania is the country with the highest suicide rate on earth, while some others claim that it is Sri Lanka.

There seems to be so much going on in people these days, with peer pressure, social media, depression,
personal struggles and financial problems a lot of individuals aren't able to cope up and overcome
the hardships. Most of these individuals are teenagers and youngsters, lately they are
very susceptible to misery, despair and sorrow. There has also been a recent
study that just came into public awareness, Depression and mental health
has made it's entrance to more recent modern causes of suicide cases
worldwide. We need to help these people, they need someone to
guide, talk and show them that there is so much more to
this life, never lose hope and always pray to God.
Keep a healthy and positive outlook on
life, love and in oneself.

Personally, I think we see an increase in suicide and depression because of a number of societal issues. On the big scale, we are facing existential threats to the survival of our species (climate change, biodiversity loss, etc.). On a more localised scale, we are becoming more disconnected, we are addicted to our egos, and many live under poor conditions and in unfulfiling jobs.
The psyche of people does not withstand pressure from life problems.Suicide is often an impulsive decision–most people who try but fail to commit suicide do not recommit at a later.

Many factors can cause people to suicide, here some of I ever read
a. The pain of existence often becomes too much for severely depressed people to bear.
b. Malevolent inner voices often command self-destruction for unintelligible reasons. Psychosis is much harder to mask than depression, and is arguably even more tragic.
c. impulsive was often related to drugs and alcohol, some people become maudlin and impulsively attempt to end their own lives.
d. crying out for help, and don't know how else to get it. These people don't usually want to die but do want to alert those around them that something is seriously wrong.
e. history of being abused or witnessing continuous abuse.
f. poor job security or low levels of job satisfaction.

Those of us who work in pediatric intensive care have frequent encounters with the problem of suicide and attempted suicide. It has seemed to me for some years that the numbers are increasing, and this has been shown to be the case. After years of declining, the suicide rate in our country has been increasing, now at about 125% of the rate of several decades ago.

No. I disagree with you not self steem is the reason why the cases of suicidal increase. Actually if we go back from the past, we  will found out that suicide is only had a small percentage. Until the time of social media come in in the lives of the new generation then the suicide percentage increase. Before life is more on activities physically more active the body. While in social media influence the generation can access easily to click whatever they want to watch. They have more time on social media than physical activities. The effect, they will become weak emotional, and mental, and health so they will be fall easily to suicidal thoughts.

Life in 21st century puts a lot of stress on peoples nervous systems. The society evolves rapidly and you need to always learn new things if you don't want to be left behind and some people can't handle it.

There are lot of people suffering depression and it can lead people to do suicide because many of them can't control their emotion. Depression is the number one reason why people commit suicide. Depression is not a joke it is a mental disorder.
yes, if someone is too depressed and there is no friend or family member who support them this is what causes them to commit suicide.
