Believe or not but i know how how you are feeling. Happened to me when top coins once raised and all i had was coins that weren't part of the bullrun.

But at least you are admitting your mistake, that's very hard for some people to do.
And i am not saying that your mistake necessarily was that you didn't buy bitcoin, even though with bitcoin you would have made money for sure, but most importantly that that you happened to pick a wrong altcoin, and just assuming that it needs to recover as well.

Because lots of them won't recover or be part of any altcoin season anymore. It's always a gamble.

You can either choose just bitcoin or gamble with other altcoins. Mistake you did can happen to any altcoin investor. So don't beat yourself too much over it. What you can learn from this is not to invest more than you can lose. That's easier said than done i admit.

thats the thing with investing into the wrong altcoin, in every new cycle of bullrun there's always coin that just tanks and never rise again, they would just lose whatever trading volume is remaining along the way as well as the price stagnating at the bottom floor just to never go up again, MANA in this regard is no exception, if the trading volume just keep tanking as well eventually it will spiralling to the worst scenario that is getting delisted, I remember so clearly when this coin was booming thats when there are trend about NFT and metaverse now its nowhere to be seen.
feel sorry for your investment as well, these metaverse project just never good enough for a sustaining trend therefore among the worst investment as of now.

The difference today compared to when you invested at that time was they were the first-mover on NFT and blockchain gaming but now they have to compete with other new coins/tokens with backing of VC's and angel investors.

I was thinking of investing on it during the hype of metaverses and NFTs but luckily, I didn't. There's still a lot of time for coins like this to have some bump but recovering back to that ATH, I don't think that we'll ever see that. I've seen a lot of the same projects like sandbox and look at their chart, they're not different at all. It's because the hype of the metaverses project is simply done and investors are moving their funds to the meme coins.
