I forked it to my GIT if anyone wants to dev for it. I may add some checkpoints and look further into the code.

Honestly, I can't imagine a revival of this would work unless the missing coins are recovered or a new blockchain is created.

I contacted cryptognasher, who is the principle programmer for reddcoin, and he says he didn't receive them...and our programmer refuses to even look at the problem.
So, I assume in essence they are burned.

Good point, The TX is above. If the owner of WgXH9oJmkHT6icnyEdN3S3H9YzqpAALt8H would come forward or we can take him at his word about being lost ... If lost, that is a huge burn.

The dev of WHYCOIN went away from bitcointalk long time ago, last time logged in was in June 2016. There was a reddit thread once but I think it died together with this coin.

Let's get it going again....the client was running great when we had nodes. I've been opening mine from time to time but have not been finding any connections. Do you have any suggestions?

I did that but still no connections for some reason....are you connected? I tried it adding them both ways--in the console and the whycoin.conf file....still nothing for some reason.
EDIT: I must've been on a fork....just deleted and re-installed so I found 76.95.178.229:20334 and the wallet is now connected and re-synchronizing....
