These people are good in talking nonsense. The majority of the people that say they will not sell their coins before reaching a certain price level, will sell as soon as they see they have made like 25% profit. It's too tempting for them to resist. Only the best holders can manage to hold their coins till it reaches a certain price level. And these holders are a far minority I can tell you.

Yeah patience is the key to make profits in bitcoin and its better to hold them bit longer as price is expected to rise in the year end and I think that would be the right time to sell them.

People will surely sell their coins when they are making profits from it and if you will never sell your coins then you will never experience the joy of making profits so its better to sell them when price reaches to your desired level.

You should never sell your bitcoins later becuase i know that people will sell their bitcoins only when tyhe price is rising and that is not what happends and when you want to make money with the bitcoin holding is not the option,

The topic itself has no sense as there is no sense of holding your bitcoin when you will not sell it. But it was understood along the discussion that we need to sell our bitcoins and will only do that at the right time that we see already that we will be making profit.

I want to save and wait for the price to go up, and I'll sell it next year.

Maybe this time you need to have a specific plan so that you will be to know the right time to sell, without a plan or a goal that would make you greedy as you are still waiting for a bigger price and you cannot do the right timing as the price of bitcoin is unpredictable.

A Trader & An Investor

Selling or holding your bitcoin is your decision to make. If you need money urgently and the situation cannot wait, then you will have to sell. People believe that bitcoin price can increase and that is why the hold and keep adding to their portfolio. IMO, price of bitcoin can rise over the coming years and we should have some in our portfolio.

If we are in need of money then we should not hesitate in selling them as if you will not use it at the time of emergency then there is no point in having them but make sure that you sell only that amount you really need.

well, everybody has their own decision. I think OP had mentioned why we should never sell our bitcoin and I thought it make sense. That such opinion just come from people who had a strongly believes in future of bitcoin, I do believe, so I would always have savings my btc and just convert it into fiat money if I need to buy/pay something urgent.

Of course, if we are thinking of profit, we should pump and dump according to the volatility of bitcoin at the time. It is not wise to hold forever if we want to make our bitcoin grow.
