Of course, if we are thinking of profit, we should pump and dump according to the volatility of bitcoin at the time. It is not wise to hold forever if we want to make our bitcoin grow. It is good to spend bitcoin once in a while, it is good for the economy of bitcoin and profitable for the user as well.

yes , i usually now , not selling my bitcoin because i am making some stability with the bitcoin wallet balance and i am making some direct purchase because i want save my transactions fees by stopping the btc convert into fiat or bank money .

That sounds a good strategy, only holding will not serve the purpose in long run, so we should try to grow them with trading and make regular profits and once price goes higher its better to sell them to generate more profits.

i'll never sell my bitcoin if the price now is low price than i am buying, and better i use it to trading bitcoin pair altcoin for make it grow and after i make a good profit then i am sure that the price of bitcoin will be up and i can make another profit too.

Of course. You don't might wanna plan to hold your bitcoins and not sell them ever because you can't say for sure until when bitcoin is going to stay alive! However, holding bitcoins may be a good long-term strategy.

If you never sell then you will never make profits from it, if price exceeds then your entry price then its better to sell them off and grab the profits as it will definitely go down in future and that would be the good time to buy it again.

Holding today is really a good decision and I would say that don't say that you are going to never sell your bitcoin. Because how you are going to get profit if you are never going to sell it, it is better if the price makes you feel high already then that is the right time to sell bitcoins. But as of now, what is better thing to do is just buy.

Holding is the safe way to make profits but only holding without selling at any point doesn't make any sense as if we never sell our coins then we would never be able to make profits out of it.

I certainly agree with your statement, if you are living with your income here in bitcointalk, you cannot just hold your bitcoins as everyday you need to attend on your expenses, it is good to hold for a longer period of time but not all of our resources, it should be a balance living, that we have investment and at the same time we will be able to pay our bills and other needs.

No one will prefer to sell for lower price then their entry price, people are willing to hold their coins for a long term unless they are not making good profits from it and when you see higher price its better to sell them off.

There will be a time, when you do not have to "sell" anymore..that's the long term strategy. Either because, you can buy anything you need with bitcoin directly, or there is no currency to sell into. In that moment, all past valuations become meaningless -

i can only think of two rationalle for selling: "daily" trading with the sole purpose to increase your btc stash, or selling for an actual productive business and getting more bitcoin that way than trading/holding.

Each one of us has a buy and sell price accordingly the current value of bitcoin i wont sell any coin if the value is lower then what i paid, and this is the main rule for those who invest at bitcoin and play those game. I do believe bitcoin will keep getting a bigger value over the time soo inst nothing new.

Yeah and the fact is people will surely sell their coins when they are making profits from it and if they never sell their coins then they will keeping themselves away from profits and the purpose of investing will never be served.

Obviously if you can predict the rise and drops in the market you can make money,
but, as pointed out, there are people selling Bitcoin for way more than they are worth on Paxful, Localbitcoins, etc.

It all depends on your strategy.
Some people buy and HODL,
some people buy and trade altcoins,
there are many strategies. In order to make a profit you need to find what works best for you.
