To hell with the signature campaign, even if the signature campaign didn't exist, i would still be here, this forum is a forum created by Satoshi and there are lots of great people with great thoughts here too.
It is easier said than done. If you will be here, ask yourself how many people will be here if the signature campaigns are no more. If you really care less about the signature campaigns you shouldn't be enrolled in one. Sometimes we need to be realistic with things we say, if you really care less about the signature campaigns, you should resign your current campaign and let people who cares about it take up your place.
I was a newbie a few months ago, and currently i have learned more about bitcoin because of this forum, the only reason i want to go to a higher ranking is because i want to know how much influence i can have for this forum, how much my knowledge about bitcoin is great and how many people i can help with the knowledge i get.
Getting to a higher rank doesn't really changed who you are personally, it's just a title that's attached to your account and also signifies how long and how active you have been in the forum. The same help you are rendering to people with your current rank, will be the same help you will render as a higher ranked member. What matter most is personal development, acquiring more skills and knowledge off the forum, with real life practicals and application is what's going to make you contribute positively and help people in the forum, because you can't give what you don't have. It is the experience you are getting from the personal development that's going to help you contribute positively to the forum when you come across threads that talk about things you know.
