There's no one who can predict the future of bitcoin because it all depends on the movement of the coin in the crypto currency. We are just on the 3rd month of the year so its hard for someone to say that this year will be better than last year, because if you can see last year bitcoin price pump around the mid until the end of the year. But I think even that there are more price drop than increase these past few months it will be good year for us.
I think also it is hard to predict that the year 2018 bitcoin 2017 will be better or not ? Because it depends on the person playing the bitcoin more or less , its price high or low . The year 2017 reviews don't have stable bitcoin at high gain at low . Hope the 2018 campaign bitcoin high paying .
Nobody can say for sure that 2018 will be better than 2017. Consider that in every year there is always an advancement and development to make cryptocurrency be adopted by the mainstream. There will also be FUDs as always which could cause another panic selling. The cycle always repeats itself but in the long run, the growth in technology and blockchain utilization will someday be a necessity just like the internet.
No one really knows what lies ahead for bitcoin this year. It may be a good year this year or it isn't better enough than last year. But the good thing is bitcoin is start recovering from being down and the 20,000$ mark is not far away from bitcoin's price today.

I hope 2018 will be good, but pricewise I doubt we will see another 10x increase. That would mean 100x in two years, which is very unlikely. I would be happy to see the return to $20k until the end of 2018.
Things may be look better for bitcoin this year as compared to last year because Bitocin has responded so well with the adversaries it went through the past few weeks. 2017 was also the start of growth and boom of cryptocurrencies which i believe 2018 will be the year to yield the result of what it had started last year when bitcoin hits all time high.
Maybe it will be better in price but that only maybe if we cross this year 20k then ok but i we look whole year process then dont think we will see another year like it was 2017. Mainly last year was price increase for over 20 times in price if we think that this year will be better then price or single bitcoin has to be over 200k and think that at this time its unreal. Year after year bitcoin has been surprising us with nicer price so this year it won't rise back like 2017 as every year gains are unique but I'm not saying it won't rise as it is an absolute prediction that each year its like a practice to increase surprisingly.
Right, bitcoin always have some surprises in store every single year, so there is no doubt that we should see that coming too in this year, but we just have to wait for it as time will tell if the surprise will be much or it would just end up being some usual surprise. A good surprise would be testing new ATHs though.

Adaption is increased. More become aware of crypto currencies and started investing even a small capital into either crypto currencies or in bitcoin. These factor would bring more values to the crypto currencies especially in bitcoin. The more investors pitch in, more the values go up. There are less chance for price fall. When more adaption takes place, obviously one or the other big shots would deny or close of existing business of crypto currencies. Such factors would bring down the values. At the moment all predictions about bitcoin going on right track and hope as per prediction about Bitcoin climbing will become true very soon just in next two months so hold and wait for good moments.
Yeah, the good moments are always the ones to watch out for anyway, but from the look of things, bitcoin is really looking good and I am not seeing those huge volumes of sells for now. Bitcoin can start bull run anytime and can also decide to take a new turn however it wishes, no one knows, but from what I am seeing on the indicators and charts, it shows some level of strength and the fact that the bears are out and waiting for the bulls to take over.
Bitcoin price at 2017 is near at 20k dollars but in this year the Price decrease at $9,900 . But I think it will increase again the price and possible to become 50k dollars the price.

I can say for sure that 2018 will be the year of altcoins, namely ETH, NEO, and LTC. Bitcoin's share price will rise but not as much as in 2017. And the future of the currency industry will be altcoins because Bitcoin is currently failing to become a currency due to too many shortcomings such as high transaction fees and long transaction time.

It is really doubtful that is going to happen, the price of bitcoin once again is down so it seem we are going to be in the range close to 10k for a long time and while I have hopes the Lightning network will change this there is not a guarantee it is going to be activated in this year, after all look how long it took segwit to be activated and the miners are going to fight against the LN as well.
