The long bull market of Bitcoin means a long altcoin bear market until the price of BTC is stable at one point. The altcoins follow the price of the BTC, and the reaction of altcoin occurs more rapidly, which depends on the few variables including investors selling altcoins and converting their money to BTC.
BTC will be the motivating factor why the market will be bullish, if last year, btc were able to break its ATH, we might see a new ATH and this market will be bullish again, it would happen easily as the FOMO is going to happen same in the past.

So fresh money joins the crypto markets and it goes directly to the BTC market. So we're probably going to see a big price rise next year. Hopefully to the new all time high

Indeed, that's what FOMO do, fresh money coming and they'll regret once the market corrects.

There is a chance that it might pumped up bitcoin's price this year's 3rd to 4th quarter and also has the dame chance that it will not because after the halving the effect that we are expecting will not be visible right away and it will take months before we see it and also there are some events that can add to bitcoin's pump which is big companies like samsung and more are considering bitcoin and crypto in their projects so i think that it will still continue on bearish until late this year

Of course, it will all depend on how the condition of bitcoin in 2020, because as far as I know bitcoin still dominates altcoin price movements, so when bitcoin prices usually fall altcoin prices will also experience the same thing, and vice versa when bitcoin prices go up tends to altcoin will follow the price increase, so, we hope that the price of bitcoin on 2020 will be better than the previous-year, so that it will encourage altcoin prices to increase as well.

This year is the year to purify all altcoins because lots of coins are becoming shitcoin in this sector so you don't have to spend time learning because it will only make you more frustrated. At the moment, Bitcoin is the cheapest option and if you have a good investment opportunity, invest now as 2020 is about to start. Personally, I have great confidence in this market next year because this is the year all investors are waiting to join this risky market and will certainly attract a lot of new investors.
if market conditions improve and there is also a bull run there will certainly be many new investors coming to invest, the most important thing to attract new investors is favorable market conditions because they will be interested in these conditions.

Where bitcoin leads, alts will follow. There is a lot of speculation that halving will lead to price increases, and an argument that halving has already been factored into the current prices. Whilst I agree that it may have already been priced in to an extent, the fact remains that this does mark a fundamental change to the availability of new coins, and should act as an ongoing price driver rather than simply a one-off event to factor in. With this in mind, I do believe that bitcoin price will increase following halving, irrespective of whether or not everyone already thinks it will happen.
I think you are reading the situation correctly, but most people are not doing the same, they think that as soon as the halving takes effect that is going to be enough to push the prices up and I find that very unlikely, what we are going to see is a slight increase in the price of bitcoin after the halving but it will not be anything that we can consider to be a bull run, the bull run will not appear until 2021 at the soonest and that is great because we will have a lot of time to accumulate bitcoins.

The whole ecosystem is rely on Bitcoin halving ecosystem which will happen this year so we can see some excitement like the past. There are so many expectation from this year so that I also think this year the whole market will perform much better as compare with last year.
Everyone really hopes that in 2020 bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will improve again and repeat history in 2017, I think now more and more people are experiencing despair, so they seem to lose confidence in the cryptocurrency price that continues to deteriorate in the market, hopefully Later Halving Day will be a new start for bitcoin and other altcoins to develop and return to people's choice as an investment asset.

2020 will be good, I just have that feeling, the space is maturing unlike the past and this is something that people need to factor in and the price action of halving event this year is going to be different from the past, some impatient investors are going to be shaken out of their position then the price pump will happen at the tail end of the year
This is the case with bitcoin and the market is matured and we might see a slow rally once the investment starts pouring in after the halving but that cannot be said about the altcoin market and it is because of the so called maturity you mentioned as there is nothing interesting in those coins or projects so that we can see a huge investment coming in the market for these alts but as a speculative market we might see a rally, so not much expectation in that.

I sincerly hope not, people are already tired of the very long bear market and wish to see a change, i hope as the year progresses the market will follow along, there are has been good updates since 2019 in favour of crypto, lets hope they are enough to see price rise in alts and hopefully a bull run.

I think there are still no signs whether it is going to bearish or the prices are going to the moon again. It is still too early to say or predict it. As of now, I still want to focus on investing and I'm still trying to earn funds from fiat. It would be good if bitcoin goes dip again and goes to the moon once again.

Would like to say yes but i feel like its a no
Today US and IRAN is having some massive issue

It actually pushed Bitcoin price up to $7,300
Same towards Gold, Japanese Yen

Thus you know, Bitcoin does really have this "safe heaven" effect when global economic went uncertain
Hence i would say it wouldn't be "too" bearish compare to 2018

no matter what the market be in 2020, i am pretty sure that there will be no bull again like end of 2017. I remember so many videos that time. people were just picking the cheapest coins from coinmarketcap and making huge profits. It was like gold rush...
to be bull like 2017, it still needs more time, not an overnight
I am doubt too if this year would be like 2017, but at least, this year would be better than 2019 and 2018

Halving is the reason why this year should be better
bcz history already tells that halving has high impact to Bitcoin price
I hope 2020 become the same moment with 2017 where bitcoin have higher price and support with bitcoin halving make bitcoin price on the top later, many investor give hope with bitcoin halving could get impact for bitcoin raise to higher price or not, on 2017 we can get much profit from bitcoin and altcoin investment and 2020 become my expectation how to get much profit again with bitcoin and altcoin.

We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?
I think this is unlikely.  because when the bitcoin price increases, the alts will also increase, because the alts paired with bitcoin.  Besides, the increase in bitcoin means the market capitalization is increasing.  thus the capital will be divided equally among alts and will make the whole market grow.

Why do you think that the capital will be divided equally among all alts? How did you come up with that idea? What you tried to explain is very complicated, alts are not paired only with bitcoin, now we have alts paired with stable coins, alts paired with other alts. When Bitcoin price goes up. it's not pulling all alts up, some of them lose their value to BTC. Crypto market capitalization is increasing, there's no doubt in that, but that capital inflow will be toward bitcoin and ethereum, and many other alts, but not all of them. Some alts are going to zero, some alts are going to new ath.

the influence of BTC certainly exists, and it's quite large. the market might have a bull run, considering that some large countries were undergoing a trade war, I think Cryptocurrency will be affected, especially BTC and some Altcoin.

trade wars always carry a strong tendency for gold, in this case several times I have seen sentiment not move towards bitcoin, certainly the bearish cycle will still color every quarter of this year. However, there are two interesting things that China and Iran have their own crypto-related plans. If the trade war continues and is very influential on fiat, then these two countries might take part in Halving's momentum with several steps related to the exchange between stable coin and btc.

I think that every year many countries will be interested in using crypto and Bitcoin in particular, but now there is no bear market, but also no bull market.
