Indeed we must admit that altcoin is in a very difficult period and many events are forced to delay or even extend the ico period, but not a few also failed. not to mention that distorted ico to look for profit for a moment, regardless of the selling price below the price of ico.
But I agree with you that altcoin will grow again along with bitcoin that is starting to lead to improvement.
many new and old altcoins are also pretty good and can survive well. need to be optimistic in this case that the change is just a matter of time.

Better way to see people opinion is what you say, meaning all come back to you, in or out is yours. I believe no one can stand forever and that's why alternative is really important. Altcoin can die but not you, meaning you need to keep try but in another way. Follow the news and use your asset in real life to built business, bitcoin/ altcoin is alternative income the main is still currency. Let the news go, built your business and good luck to you.

I agree that such a return to ATH is already hard to imagine. Altcoins can grow in price only because of the most fundamental attitude to cryptocurrency

I think that was already a year ago when he told about ETH never getting that ATH anymore.

Now, if Ethereum will have that kind of result then what else can we expect from those ERC20 tokens and maybe altcoins too.

All this situation is manipulative and I think the only good rule here is the one that says that bitcoin fast movements lead altcoins to dump. When bitcoin movement is slow and it has strong positions altcoin season begins. People move their cash from BTC to altcoins only in this case.

You do not clarify what do you mean when you say that we need altcoins to come back, if what you want is to see altcoins going up in price in the same way that they did during 2017 then the sad truth is that you are never going to see that again, that year was a special, people were very confident that altcoins will be the future of the market of cryptocurrencies and in just a few years after it we have discovered that is not the case.

But it is entirely possible that during the next years we are going to see some of the most powerful altcoins to see an important recovery as there is no doubt in my mind that coins like ethereum or litecoin are undervalued and should receive more respect than what they are getting right now.

Bitcoin dominance is really huge today but what would Cryptocurrency today without Ethereum and other top altcoins in the market, they help Cryptocurrency to what it is today, altcoins will always have a place in the industry as long as they can offer something unique to the community, I have a lot of altcoins in my portfolio and I just won't give up on them.

I agree that altcoin will always have a place in the investor's portfolio. Bitcoin dominance that is too large is also not good for the development of the cryptocurrency market because blockchain technology is always developing and if bitcoin dominance is too large, new projects cannot develop using new technology

I'm sure the altcoins market will come back again, but seeing the fact that more than 2400 altcoins will not be more than 100 that can come back, and of course investing in top ranked is the most profitable solution.

well the coin is not down really why? coins is still profitable
coins way back 2009 is like 0.0001 or just a no value, its just your too late
many people regret it because literally the coins has no value during the time that they are giving it away
people really ignores it , now everyone says its my fault I don't take any of those, the market is still healthy

Now that altcoins are almost dead, it is a better idea to invest in altcoins than bitcoin i think. But there is certainly some people who are thinking the contrary.
It will take a little more time for altcoins to regain their value.

It's true that most coins just stay dormant but with time altcoins will bounce back especially those once with good use case. We just need to invest in coins with potential and a good team, once the market starts getting bullish, then there will be growth in the market volume of Altcoins.
