Of course. What makes you think that altcoins will never come back again? I believe altcoins are going to be bigger and better very soon. We just need to be patient and hope the best for the altcoins.
Well, wait another 2 years and altcoin will return to current prices. I cut the entire altcoin and focused on BTC only
Its safer to invest in bitcoin now but if you buy altcoins now that they are at the biggest lose level you will make bigger gains if they return to their normal price, to me it looks like altcoins have better chance to bring better gains in near future if you select them wisely

All have been patient, I think in the 1 year period, there have not been so many changes that we can see in altcoin. to get the momentum of the increase indeed we ourselves must be greater waiting for an increase in the market. as is the case at this time we must be more restrained if we have not yet benefited

Well, the main focus is on bitcoin. if you want to invest in altcoin, do a big research. Not all altcoins are bad, but most of altcoin is a scam. altcoin will return to the pump, but in the USDT pair. I'm not sure about pairs with BTC. I mean it will go up according to the initial price with USD / T. maybe altcon is deadlocked. because at this time every altcoin will fall when listing on market.

You are right that you think that investing in Bitcoin is best. I also believe that at the moment while altcoins are falling in price, it is better to keep your money in bitcoins and wait for the right moment. When the Alt season begins, then you can use bitcoin to buy altcoins growing in price.

At one point in history, the British pound dominated world markets.
Then its place was taken by the dollar.

Today the dominant cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, because it is the one that has received the most publicity and the one that people know best.

As the market matures and as new people do business with crypto currencies they realize that bitcoin is not good for trading daily life because of its high volatility, high transaction costs, slowness, and so on.

This makes new currencies advance because they have a wider use.
Over time and naturally the weight of bitcoin will decrease and the weight of other crypto will increase.

It is to be expected that Bitcoin retains its position as number 1 or number 2, but with less dominance.

Altcoin still has a chance to bounce back but it will most likely take a long time, but I personally believe that the altcoin market is still alive and still has a chance to return from this difficult time. I don't believe anyone including crypto experts who say altcoin has reached a dead end, for me investment requires time or patience and I will always update my altcoin bag to avoid huge losses.

Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
In my opinion the altcoin season can still happen again. It's true that it's better to invest and focus on BTC, but BTC is limited. So I think when the price of BTC will start to rise and continue to increase, maybe the price of altcoin will start to follow it and there could be a bullrun. But, of course there must be a number of factors that support the bullrun and for now I am more focused on observing market movements and trading in small quantities.

There is still hope in altcoins since in crypto industry, we never settle in one. There are different people with different preferences so there is a need in different sorts of coins. BTC has great reputation and legacy but it doesn't mean that it is the only one in the market. There are a lots of altcoins that have a great potential but very a few are successful due to the fact there's way too many of them and the scam projects do not help its reputation.

BTC has high demand and low supply that is why altcoin can be a good opportunity to the crypto
btc is not a low supply coin  .21m supply is quite a bit high and even if its indemand and existed a long time ago , there are still many unmined coins left  . the remaining supply is still big  .

still alts can be alternative to btc if ever btc supplies were are mined out because its expected that its value will be verry high  . if that happens , alts will get more demand and alts wont never leave us anymore but for now alts still didnt came back

Bitcoin is indeed 'limited' if you're talking about the total number of coins.  However I find that to be an irrelevant argument given that many altcoins also have finite supplies.

Be careful when you listen to guys like Max Keiser and take everything he has to say with a grain of salt.  He is obviously a successful money manager but some of his ideas about gold and silver just reek of BS, and I'm skeptical of things he's said about bitcoin

There *is* a need for altcoins in the crypto space.  Most of them can be sent for much less than bitcoin, and you don't have to wait an hour to get a confirmation.  In that respect coins like dash, eth, ltc, and tons of others function much better as a form of money.  The only problem: very few online of physical shops accept them.

I do think there will be a resurgence in the alt market.  It's been thru slumps like this before, and the market is fickle.  It baffles me why traders don't see times like this as a great opportunity to pick up quality coins on the cheap.

Where did the altcoins go? I know that alcoins has experienced a drastic drop on public trust and also their prices but I also believe that the developers of those altcoins are doing their job to improve their services.
I just believe that altcoins has come to stay, though market may look bad for now,the space is young and the parameters of measuring cryptocurrency success will change. We need a better product for the coins and exploit the fundamental purpose of the technology; by removing third party, access faster and safe transaction from every part of the world.  Most of the market projects' intent was to exploit the market and make money, They didnt build a lasting plan for their products so they got to die.

BTC has high demand and low supply that is why altcoin can be a good opportunity to the crypto market. It's just unfortunate that btc is more known and it gained much greater focus by the public like in news, making the reputation of altcoin dull. There are a lot of alts out there but very is few might survive due to the tight competition in the industry. Investing on which you think has the greatest potential can be your golden ticket when time comes.

Altcoins will ever be. Its just a matter of, only the strongest of the ALTs will last the test of time. Invest in viable and credible projects.

Looking at the altcoin market at the moment, no one can actually tell or predict if altcoins market values might increase any time soon. The altcoin market is one of the difficult aspect of the entire crypto ecosystem whose market value of most coins can be predicted. Since the increase is usually not more that 7% or 10%.

This question was asked here many times. But nobody knows the answer, it depends on many factors. But what we really need is to bring a trust into altcoins again because altcoins now look like a sinking ship that nobody wants to buy.  Cry

Anything can happen in crypto market and I do believe that some strong altcoins will bounce back and hit a new ATH, don't lose hope just like the Bitcoin believers who are still holding their coin because they knew that everything will be worth it. The time for altcoins will come though it has a long way to go.

If I were you, I would listen less to anyone. Today there are a lot of information stuffing and you can’t believe them. But what about the fact that technologically Bitcoin is quite outdated in comparison with the same Eth or Eos. There are no additional features like in altcoins.

I couldn't argue more on that matter of perspective that you said, nothing is outdated with bitcoin so far. Regarding eth and eos, they're just following the journey of bitcoin as it changes price up and down during market instability. Many news articles that wasn't reliable these, just try to avoid it so that you won't have a misleading information that could trigger emotional problems in the future. Never have expectations, so you won't be frustrated in the end and learn self control when crucial moment happens.
Need to be able to work with information. I usually filter the news that I read. But what about the lack of Bitcoin obsolescence? And the transaction speed, and the transfer commission? This is a very big commission, as is the waiting time.
