You can't say it generally. It depends on each project's ideas.

Yeah most altcoins like ethereum will survive. Nothing can stop these coins. But there are some altcoins with zero daily transaction. These ones will die off very quickly and forgotten.
The value of ETH is largely supported by the ERC20 TOEKN. So I think we can give priority to investment ETH.

Why not. altcoin can survive until now because it has some advantages that are not owned by bitcoin. Among them, very fast transactions. even bitcoin cash capable of sending 4x faster than BTC. And most of the altcoin, it's really used in everyday business interests, whereas Bitcoin is mostly used as an investment and investors are more likely to hold their bitcoins. So why altcoin cannot survive?

As long as they have active trades, active community and devs, I don't see altcoins closing down.

As bitcoin gains, more people will understand the cryptocurrency market, so more money will be invested in cryptocurrency markets, not just in bitcoins, but in other altcoins.

Only a few will survice i believe, ones that have strong role in the real life society and community, for example Ripple is currently being used by Banks all over the globe for its technology.
Ethereum too is helping other tokens come into the game.
For me these two are capable of surviving til the end.

I'm a bit nervous because of the Bitcoin futures. For now it looks steady, but once big money comes pouring in the BTC dominance could reverse back to over 70% again and all altcoin will enter a cryptowinter.

I strongly believe that most will. One of the exciting things about the crypto-currency space is that there is so much growth and opportunity! Altcoins survival will depend mainly on it's vision, a purpose that is big and unique and bold enough, and an active community that works well together, providing leadership, direction, marketing, and product management that draws in elements of ecosystem. There were many altcoins that are developed and launched that are coming to the fore now that promises possibilities alongside bitcoin.

I think altcoins will come and go as long as there is a demand for them. Some strong ones will stay and other new ones will be popping up.

Altcoins not only for trade its like normal shares like equity it is having value based on project progress , Profit and long term returns , Devidend there is lots of factors decides you cant blindly trade or invest any platform or any business . So obviously there is lots of scammers you should have to do lots of research before investment.

Some alcoins will survive, some not. Many of them pumping right now with pumping price of bitcoin.
AltCoins like Ethereum are getting popular day after day because of it’s increased demand and increased no. of people entering in this market. This is the era of Digital currency and more the people become aware of them, they get inclined towards investing in them. Ethereum price has seen a huge positive change which attracts people to invest in it. So, other altcoins like ethereum are also getting in the line of success making sure of their survival.😊

Not all will survive i believe, only ones that have actual real usage in this society.
I believe that Ripple will be one of the coins that have this chance to be amongst the good coins to survive since its being used by banks for its technology.

I'm really sure Altcoin wouldn't be less popular than bitcoin in trading / investments that made by everyone.
Although bitcoin keeps moving up on its price movements, it doesn't rule out most people are still interested on investing in altcoin, especially on trading.. because trading is very suitable for altcoin I guess, and of course atlcoin would be stay afloat also still many enthusiasts.
