Till now the only reason why people are going against BITCOIN is the high transaction fees ,except that i don't know any other problem with BITCOIN.So if any other problem arises that fores BITCOIN believers to be against it then it is for sure possible that some other cryptocurrency will replace BITCOIN.
Noone could ever take bitcoin's crown,noone could ever replace bitcoin on its position. If bitcoin was not born,would you think that too many altcoins would appear? Bitcoin has already make a history in cryptoworld,Btc will always be the king of all coin.
It is possible that bitcoin can be replaced but the question is when? Bitcoin is the stongest crypto for now. Ethereum is second to bitcoin, as i see it. Investing to this two cryptos is I think best thing to do
It really depends if bitcoin problems will not be going to solved then there will be a chaotic situation for bitcoin that it will be going to get replaced by another coin that solve its current problems and that is only when the another coin will take the crown or replace bitcoin to its current place or position so i think that it is best to just enjoy and maximize the things that we can have in bitcoin as long as we have the chance.

For me, this is likely to happen even though it takes a long time because there is one coin that has very good price movements such as ethereum that causes investors to have many options in the business that can generate profits at any time. 
Taking the crown of bitcoin seems too hard for the other cryptocurrencies because bitcoin is the KING, it would take a lot of time before that could happen, overcoming something so big won't be that easy for the other coins out there. I know there is a lot of developers who wanted to surpass the superiority of bitcoin, for example is this BCH, which was having the HYPE way back this January.
But it seems like it can't reach where bitcoin is right now, so hail bitcoin, bitcoin is still the KING.
From an investment point of view, bitcoin is undoubtedly the king. From the perspective of long-term development, I think ETH may be able to surpass bitcoin in the future. It may also be another altcoin that will win in the future with the advantages of exchange speed and payment costs.

For me, there is a chance or probability that other cryptocurrency will take the crown of bitcoin for being the famous and expensive cryptocurrency because today there is millions of cryptocurrency that still undiscovered. 
Maybe in the future, but for now Bitcoin is the main reference of all other cryptocurrency or altcoins. In the market Bitcoin has been the foundation of the altcoins. Especially when being negotiate to be listed in an exchange. Bitcoin is one of the requirement for it. It might take long before someone take the throne to Bitcoin. Yes, there are some coins that have the potential to do so like Ethereum. But Bitcoin now it the one that make the market rise or fall, like the incident in the US. It make the market go all red.

It is possible for other cryptocurrency to replace Bitcoin when it comes to dominance or market capitalization, Bitcoin currently have 35% shares on total market cap of all cryptocurrency market, that is very low compared on what it has last year, but that is still huge and that is normal since there are lots of cryptocurrency that already growing, but for now no other cryptocurrency can surpass the dominance of Bitcoin because when the value of Bitcoin goes down, most of altcoins value also follows and vise versa. We can't name any coin that can be possibly dethrone Bitcoin since no one can predict the future of this market.
Yes, it is possible in the future but for now, it may take a long time for another coin to replace bitcoin on the top. Well, Etherium is the best competitor of bitcoin in terms of market cap, although they have a completely different purpose.
Yes whatever is possible. If that happens I will advise ethereum to do so. This is due to one of the coins at most, if not the most piercing. This is the result of the fact that most of the new ICO is run through the ethereum blockade. If this continues to occur the possibility of catching or closing the gap significantly on the bitcoin is very large.
May be in the future there could be a toppling. But as the market stands, that will be most unlikely......
For now, that certainly looks unlikely as the price of the other coins have been largely affected by bitcoin drop in price.

Yeah it can happen, there are still thousands of thousands of coins that is not still discovered and today, there are lots of miners that is continuously mining which they may discover a coin that can replace bitcoin for being on top, but for now lets enjoy that bitcoin is still on top.
I think not, if it can be possible, thats happened long time ago. More scalable and better blockchains already developed but cant take the crown
It can depending on the strength of the new coin. ETH shows potential but not enough to supercede BTC. As of the moment BTC is the most popular and the starting point of all coins so the taking over cant be soon.
What goes up must come down. I believe eth or a new kind of crypto will replace bitcoin and takes its crown. But I think its gonna take a long time before someone would overtake bitcoin, who knows when.
