None will be crowned by bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, the king of the crown is running like the other behind the same cryptocoins bitcoin, who will win this will decide the time.
This year is crucial for bitcoin.
We've seen lots of merchants abandon bitcoin because of the transaction fee problem. We've also seen merchants enable other coins. Bitpay is bus working on enabling BCH, Litecoin and ETH. Stripe, which dumped bitcoin, has said it will enable LTC, ETH and others.
The more that merchants enable alts, the more the network effect will belong to alts and not bitcoin.

Maybe or maybe notIf this would happen then i bet it is etherium and no other coin.As we all know etherium ranked as second to bitcoin,it also has a market cap that is nearly match to bitcoin.Ethereum also advances in terms of aspects and technology than bitcoin.However i don't think it is not enough to replace bitcoin .
I think it will probably happen sometime in the future as BTC technology is kinda old and there are much better technologies now. Bitcoin still enjoys it's momentum and it will take quite some time before he loses it's place at the top of the MC.

Maybe yes,because the chances are there but I don't think it will be the ethereum or bitcoin cash because ethereum availability is more when compared to bitcoin so there is no chance for beating the bitcoin interms of price but in terms of market cap value it may be.Bitcoim cash is just a free coin out from the bitcoin fork so I don't think it will beat its own king.

No I do not think that any other coin will take the place of bitcoin. As you can see that bitcoin has got a huge fame in the market. When anyone talk about the payment with crypto then the idea of bitcoin come to mind. It is also obvious that most of the online businesses are mainly use bitcoin if they want to work with crypto. It is very hard to get the place on which bitcoin is currently. 
Yes it's true. The other coins have their strong side as well, and it's kinda suck knowing that now, bitcoin is dropping more and more, meanwhile some altcoin increases instead.
The investors may try to change and invest in altcoin instead, because they think bitcoin is going to be dead and other coin is more profitable.
Even my family who's into crypto also tend to invest in eth now rather than bitcoin, because the price always drop and it makes them annoyed.

With Lighting Network coming I don't think so, Bitcoin is here to stay.
It's true, with Lightning Network Bitcoin becomes unbeatable (at least until a new superior technology appears). It's easy to imagine, if with so many currently problems (slow transactions, expensive fees) Bitcoin is on the top, now imagine with a solution for these issues what will happen with BTC's price.

Losing the top position in marketcap is a possibility at this point. But I wouldn't call it "take the crown".For me, the true winner is the cryptocurrency with more stability and a solid user base, and, with this regard, competitors are in a pitiful position compared to Bitcoin.
Nope, its not possible that any coin can came now and can give such a brilliant performance that it will lead price of bitcoin then its not possible because bitcoin have take a lot of time to improve their performance to such a high level while also still improving their performance and the most tough job for a product in market is getting attraction of customers and bitcoin have done that.
I think it is likely that it will happen even if it takes a long time because there is one coin that has a very good price movements such as etherium that causes investors have a lot of options in the business of making profit every time.
this is a definite possibility, bitcoin is like the version 1, its like a model, and something better will come at the top, its always like this, something that can turn the technology behind all of this into something that could be helpful for our future.
Well, its not impossible for that! There are a lot of cryptocurrencies that wanted to compete with Bitcoin. But as of now, I am really hoping that Bitcoin will get back to its state. I never really wanted it to disappear just like that.
We don't care about who will take the crown or who's the king of Crypto or the queen or whatsoever.... Let's thinks about how can we make their values higher now as their price was going down this past few days...

I could find at least some logical reason for you in comparing bitcoin with ethereum to compete but i could not understand that how you could compare a garbage like bitcoin cash to replace bitcoin. I think that this question has been asked for years in this forum and I hope that it would continue for few more years as we lack such a potential coin to replace bitcoin.
Earlier it was much expected that ethereum would replace bitcoin before some years and due to the hard fork resulting in splitting of it to eth and ethereum classic made its chance to lose the race.
Later monero and zcash were much expected to replace due to their full anonymity nature but they too failed.Until now, we are not able to find a single coin worth of participating in the race for the crown.

This is unlikely to happen, not for at least a decade or more. ETH price may flourish but i cant see it exceeding bitcoin. Bitcoin has already established a very strong community and with the current dip in price, more investors are coming in. It would be possible that ethereum and bitcoin cash will take over bitcoin in the future. The price of these two coins are good and still keeping their price alive and keep on increasing. if bitcoin will continue to fall and would go back to its original price, then these two will take the crown.
But don't you think that bitcoin will be replaced by ETH?
