I think that banks are unlikely to disappear because of the crypto currency. Since they too will come up with their new system with crypto currency. And they will also turn their financial, banking business.
I do not think that the banks disappear completely, most likely they simply will not be so important
I don't think cryptocurrencies will cause banks to disappear, because there are government support behind banks, and some countries restrict the development of cryptocurrencies. I believe that banks will use cryptocurrencies to serve people in the future.
This really what I keep on asking myself since we all know that cryptocurrency dominates the bank as time pass by. I wonder will it result to total collapse of bank industry?

I agree. This has indeed been mentioned many times in the past and it is an obvious fact that cryptocurrencies will never replace FIAT completely. FIAT will always exist and crypto is way too unstable to ever fully replace it. Cryptocurrencies will instead serve as an alternate source of payment and will exist alongside FIAT currencies. Banks will always exist and cryptocurrencies will continue coexisting along with it for a long period of time in my opinion and many others.
not for the near future, but actually crypto and banks can work together so no one harmed but it's too early to talk about it now still need hard work and time to create crypto existence. so just do we can and make use this.
Just like any other business they will have to evolve with the new times. When the internet became mainstream they allowed us to do banking from home, now with crypto they will have to accept bitcoin/altcoins as a safe place to store coins. Not many of us will trust them to do so but they should a least offer it as a service

maybe in next 10 years.
100 years from now, the bank will still exist, Cryptocurrency will never erase the bank. Because it has existed for centuries and is an absolute belief in the people of the world. Banks may apply blockchain in the future but will never go away 
It could on some country that fully embraces Cryptocurrency but I highly doubt if it could totally make bank disappear even government are dependent on banks and some bank is owned by the government, they will keep on existing they can co exist or they can create their own token.

Bank will never disappear because of cryptocurrencies and we have to know that for cryptocurrencies to develop banking systems must be involved and it must decentralized. Bitcoin has proven to be a system bank can used.
I hope banks will accept cryptocurrency for payments in future or will reduce their profits and gradually die. VISA, MasterCard will accept crypto payments with bank cards sooner or later because they don't want to lose profit.
In order for there to be a complete collapse of the banking system, cryptocurrencies must be 30 times stronger than now. I think that the banking system is that cryptocurrencies can threaten only in theory.

This thing may really happen in the future when the blockchain and the cryptocurrency is applied widely in the real life. You can transfer money for anybody in the world without need any intermediates and can save your money in private wallets and it is also very safe
I think cryptocurrency is itself not a bank or people can't be simply their own bank, so banks will probably evolve but not definetely disappear.
Why would you say that banks would go away all because of cryptocurrency. Both banks and cryptocurrency are financial institutions but operating on a different platform and different regulations.

In my opinion it all depends on us. Right now everybody is waiting this ETF thing but we should not care about it in the first place. Bitcoin is permissionless. So why the hach we are waiting for some kind of permission? It sounds crazy to me. It seems that people have forgotten what cryptocurrencies stand for. Censorship resistance and permissionless. If banks are still here in 10 years then we will be just stupid flock of sheep.

first of all, regardless of what happen to crypto. we value them by actually counting the fiat money counterpart.
but with this it would really not make an effect on the industry but instead it would really help the bank.
the more crypto we sell and transacted it into fiat.
we uses bank in some instance to get the money for selling crypto.

That is absurd! Who says banks would dissappear because of crypto. When you make millions of dollars in crypto where would keep your money safe? Is not the banks.

Honestly, I don't want that to happen I still trust the banking system, so many business and people depend on the banking industry, they have been here for hundreds of years, they can co-exist but each one should not have a conflict with each other we can have both sides on the winning side.
