It's possible to bitcoin would be replaced by another crypto currency. Let's admit that bitcoin is not ideal. So some more prefect crypto currency can replace it, something like Bitcoin 2.0
but reality is that bitcoin is the best currency of the world and no other currency can replace bitcoin, and the reason is that the users of bitcoin are more that any other currency and its users are still increasing from time to time.

I'm looking for free spin.

Although it's not ideal and there are some features it could've included, I am still pretty sure Bitcoin 2.0 will never get past 1.0 even if it'll be created. We have to remember that BTC1.0 has been the first cryptocurrency around and a second version would sound very sketchy. Would you trust it? What if it gets as big as Bitcoin (or even a quarter of it would be enough) and people are going to approach it and one day we all find out it was just a scam?
If bitcoin 2.0 will also accepted 1.0 and if 2.0 has many feature like reverse payment fast support and some feature that the transaction is almost instant just like other payment processor .. but i still wondering that how they can make a bitcoin 2.0 people are already invested in bitcoin 1.0 and i think it is impossible that they will release it..

Bitcoin may be replaced by a different technology or be superseded but it will take a very long time as Bitcoin is a pioneer in this technology. I think Bitcoin is here to stay for a very long time as paper money has been around for thousands of years.
You can understand Bitcoin by thinking of it as another evolutionary leap, an improvement over fiat money just as fiat money was an improvement over gold.  Bitcoin is portable in a way that no other cryptocurrencies will overcome bitcoin anytime soon. May be others follow it
i think bitcoin is not going to replace by any other currency, because bitcoin is one of the most popular currency of the world. and i think it can merge other currencies in itself but will continue its position and will merge other countries and coins.

If something happened to bitcoin like people losing trust to bitcoin and price of bitcoin will go down or some goverment of some country start make a law about bitcoin and make statement that bitcoin payment is illegal. When that time come people start to buy another coin.
So, i'm sure bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency.
Many illegal activities already happen in bitcoin but it is still not announce by government to use it local since bitcoin is anonymous and people are afraid to be scam that is why they are still not using it and give legalized..
but i heard that there is some country like paris and brazil that accepting bitcoin locally in some stores or like coffee shop.. with afraid of illegal uses of bitcoin..
So it is impossible that bitcoin will replaced by another cryptocurrency.

The only way that Bitcoin can be superseded by another currency would be through outrageous stagnation. But this is unlikely, and still less likely if there should be more or less serious competition. Right now Bitcoin is basically the only pebble on the beach, no other cryptocurrency comes close to it. But if things are set to change in this department, and Bitcoin doesn't evolve at that (e.g. SegWit and LN get constantly rejected by the miners), the profits of miners will reduce dramatically (together with the price) and they will think again about the usefulness of being so obstinate...

In this manner, a little bit of real competition won't hurt Bitcoin

It really does not seem to be possible for any other currency to replace bitcoin because bitcoin has already got the trust of the community which any other currency wont be able to earn in such a short period of time and bitcoin is increasing rapidly which wont let any other coin even come close to it.

I don't think of a specific altcoin that will displace bitcoin from its current hegemony. I prefer to think that sooner rather than later will occur a conjunction of events that might make the bitcoin gradually lose its current value. Remember that even almighty technologic advances gradually were displaced like yahoo or IBM, so it is impossible to think that bitcoin will remain forever.
Thank you. Only few see this and i agree that this is a strong possibility. I would even go so far and say that the only thing that is holding this back is the ignorance of Bitcoin users against other coins. Many people do not even understand Bitcoin. Many less know how other coins work. There maybe is a better coin already but nobodies knows since nobody understand this other coins or read about them. The eco system could quickly adopt once we have a successor.

It is important to note that technological advancement has brought many innovations including currencies. Personally, I don't think any other currency will come in and replace bitcoin. We have had other currency but with the incoming of new ones has not affected them. therefore I think many other currencies will come but bitcoin will have its own share globally
Now all online casino's are introducing their own cryptocurrencies, but it will not effect on Bitcoin. Becasue players are exchanging other currencies through bitcoin. Now what happens means this bitcoin will be the main hub to all cryptocurrency. So where ever you go finally we come to bitcoin to convert fiat currency. In future, it may change but it will take a long time.

I think in the distant future it might be, as technology is sure to advance, but Bitcoin will always be remembered as the pioneer of the digital currency age and the forefather of all others, so will always have a place in everyone's heart, even in the distant future I believe.

I dont think bitcoin will be replaced but many coins will emerge for exceptional use and bitcoin will be their superior . Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency at the present and I think it is hard to compete to it and beat bitcoin purpose at this moment.
Yes it was impossible to happen, at any time until bitcoin will never be replaced, although many coins popping up and many people are predicting that eth can replace bitcoin but I do not agree with their opinion.
I have seen people think that Ethereum, Monero, zCash, Lisk, and the list goes on, have the potential to replace Bitcoin, but it's nothing more than a wild fantasy.

I don't know why people think these coins have even the slightest chance of replacing Bitcoin while these coins aren't any better than all other altcoins that only drive on pumps and dumps.

All things these coins have in common is that the developers in question are the real winners here. It's ridiculous how people can be so naive. It's a greed ruled industry.
The coins you have mentioned has a good image nowadays and have a good potential to get a good place in crypto world but they do not have that much potential that they will replace bitcoin even do not have the potential that they stand the same as bitcoin. Bitcoin is going much better than all of hese.

It don't think it make sense that other cryptocurrency make bitcoin out of date and stop their production, we can say that other cryptocurrencies challenege bitcoin by gain their importance in the market and also by gaining trust of people like people trust bitcoin but it completely obsolete bitcoin it is not possibele.

Its actually possible that an altcoin will someday replace BTC. There is nothing special to bitcoin except the demand and the acceptance of merchants to which demand for btc rockets its value. if btc plans for anonymity, i think we'd rather go for XMR. if we go for innovation, we'll go for ETH.

Bitcoin is the prototype of cryptographic currency, altcoins are competitive with bitcoin, and sometimes offers good solutions for bitcoin, for instance Ethereum's smart contract is the good example, bitcoin's future development will be bitcoin smart contract.

At the moment Bitcoin looks great with everything going for it but even though the task of another cryptocurrency overtaking it looks insurmountable in the foreseeable future it is still possible because of human nature and how we adjust to adopting new things which seem to address the flaws of the current or obsolete things. There are Altcoins that I'm particularly impressed with currently and I know they will keep coming.

Exactly, I think, it's all about the trust and the potential of any project. Bitcoin has vast popularity and strong market capital just because of the trust. It's not impossible to see any strong competitor of bitcoin in the coming future but I don't think anything like that will happen in next 2 years. We can not deny the fact that cryptocurrency is one of the hot topics in payment system since past few years.
