This kind of replacement without any doubt is what the authorities have been nursing, but how disappointed they all would be at the end of the day. The wide spread acceptance of bitcoin was not for the fun of it, but hinges on the fact that bitcoin is a revolution that arrested the financial colonialism people have been subjected to overtime and which is what the authorities are fighting tooth and nail to reinstate, but the people are wiser now.

Technology is evolving, so we might someday come into another coin that could replace bitcoin, but it cannot be anything built outside the foundation already in place in bitcoin, especially the ability for transactions to stay decentralized or it never would make it pass bitcoin.

Yes it is possible because as the day is coming people are more looking into some more projects that will make new trend, more convenience and more profit to generate. But if we are not able to find it with some other projects, then we will just stay with bitcoin and won't ask for some more newbie crypto currencies that are coming out.

It depends on people's preferences. For example litecoin has based in the code of bitcoin but with very quick confirmation and four times the number of coins (84 million). The peercoins the same with bitcoins but with the ability 'proof of stake' and so on. So far is clear that domination of bitcoin does not be threatened. In my opinion bitcoin will not be replaced by other currencies. Just the strongest of them will co-exist and will be exchanged according the people needs.

No, it is not possible that any other crypto currency will replace bitcoin, bitcoin is a master crypto currency and people believe on other crypto currency because of bitcoin, without bitcoin no other altcoin will survive and no other crypto currency have the potential to go faster than bitcoin.while another crypto growing , bitcoin itself growing faster it's pretty clear that bitcoin is mother of crypto currency.

I don't even think of that yet because if you compared bitcoin with altcoins, there is no competition and it's clear that bitcoin is more dominant. As of the moment, bitcoin is increasing while altcoins are dropping, that's what happen when a certain asset cannot compete with the other.
