I think it will be used maybe later not 2022 because nothing like value cant be using by everybody so fast I think until 2030 year that this situation will be but not before.

Bitcoin can change the financial industry if used and implemented properly by governments and all other institutions, but they don't get any benefits in doing so.

In that aspect, Bitcoin will not change the world. Bitcoin will also never come into the position of being able to replace any kind of fiat currency. It's simply impossible.

If you look at what entity is able to change the way the current financial system is set up, then it's the government and nothing else.

I really don't know why people continue to think Bitcoin has even a tiny chance of changing the world or replace fiat. It's pure nonsense. The government can, Bitcoin not.

Well said, there is no practical possibility of reaching 50% of the population in next 5 years far as the user base is concerned. This is a very difficult milestone and thus impractical too. Even if any government is legalising bitcoin still 50% of world population is the highest figure. We might hardly reach 2% to 4% of world population in terms of registered users having their own bitcoin wallet.

still 2022 has got 5 years left but i dont think you will get not more then 50% of the users of world population. Ya if their is any legal move of making bitcoin legalize in almost top country then we can see the sudden raise of users of bitcoin. Till then dont expect before 2030

I don't think it will happen. Governments will want some control over what their people use as currency. Bitcoin cannot be regulated by governments efficiently. Possibly, though, governments will create their cryptocurrency. What I believe is that, by the year 2022, the popularity of cryptocurrency or other digital currencies has already been accepted enough for it to be used as versatile as fiat currency.

buddy im thinking that people will invest their money in bitcoin so time will come that bitcoin will be the number crypto currency . think of it. they will invest money to convert it into bitcoin so they can disposed the money that we're meant to use a long time ago. i think they need to change the economy. using crypto currency will prevent cutting trees just to produce money right ? im hoping that time will come so fast so that our earth will have a more peaceful mind. no cutting trees less tragedy.

i believe that time will come where those currencies will be crypto currency just like bitcoin. when that time comes i think they will change their currency into crypto currency but in a method that they will deposit their money in bank but will be stored in crypto currency. bitcoin will have a long run in the future . im thinking that bitcoin will be our primary cryptocurrency in the future where this btc will be useful to save our mother earth because if the whole world will use crypto currency there will be no more cutting trees because of shitty paper money. crypto currency is the best of all Wink

I don't think that it will be used by almost everyone in next 6 years of time, as bitcoin has not reached everywhere yet and it will take long time for it gain attention across the globe and there would be many people who will not prefer to use it or invest in it looking at its price volatility.

People who are familiar to bitcoins will always prefer to use it for shopping keeping credit cards and fiat behind but the major issue is how to convince people who are not aware about it and till they are not made aware about bitcoins they will keep on using credit cards for offline as well as online shopping.

Convincing people to use Bitcoin as currency is easier said than done. In order to pull the trigger, they need to see the added value of using Bitcoin as currency for their shoppings. Most well developed countries have more than capable payment systems to make shopping as easy as possible for people. It's very difficult for Bitcoin to gain ground there. Transaction fees of Bitcoin can become a problem for people while they enjoy free transactions through the payment systems in their country. And in order to spend Bitcoin, you need to buy Bitcoin first. All reason enough for people to continue using fiat.

Even in first world countries there are many people who are not aware about the bitcoins and same goes with third world countries too, but the important thing is to know whether they interested in using it even after knowing it or not, people who believe in innovative technology will start using and rest will not care about bitcoins for sure.

2022 is not far from now so probably the adoption will not increase that fast. Let us not dream too much as it will affect our realistic judgement. Just think that something has to be done in order to bitcoin to be more popular in the future and that is to help promote it.
