It is not impossible for this to happen there are lot of various people and different organization wanting to control the bitcoin  network but the fact that if bitcoin will become a centralized thing then the aim of bitcoin will be thrown away because the main goal of bitcoin is that provide a safe and anonymous way to transact money online without the control of bitcoin.

As Bitcoin mining is partially controlled by Chinese miners, I have a feeling that sometime in the near future, Bitcoin can become centralized if no solution against this is proposed.

If BTC could manage to bring a solution towards mining centralization by preventing mining pools with the most hashrate to effectively gain control of the network, then it would aim to become more decentralized over the years.

As mining difficulty increases and new ASIC hardware gets developed, it would make it less possible for any average user to mine Bitcoin, thus making it more centralized each day.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this, as if BTC becomes centralized, it might cause it to decrease in value, and most of all, violate the principles that it was created for.  Smiley

I think there is a chance that bitcoin will be centralized in the future because it is so popular and famous now. Other said that it is impossible but for me it is possible because there are so many people wanted it to happen.

Yes, bitcoin will become centralized sometime in the future because of being systematic in their business and also the blockchain market can regulate and centralized the transactions in the business.
No it will not happen because centralized currency are those fiat money and we had already so we do not need it actually to centralized bitcoin and aside from that if you will going to change the system as it is right now there will huge job to do. It is better to create a digital centralized currency than to modify bitcoin system.
nothing is impossible that can happen in the future. even this. well, we know for now there are still so many rejections, but I think there will be a time when the government will see that this will bring big, beneficial changes, and make this become centralized.
I don't think that will happen, the government will not change the internal system from bitcoin or other crypto, all they can do is provide rules around bitcoin, such as verification for exchange users, it will become centralized right? and there have been many exchanges do that

Actualy we could not know happen of crypto in the future if its centralized or not,but some country want it this kind of principles to become centralized in order to control the price value of the blockchain market and become regulated in terms of legalization.otherwise if the market are become centralized maybe the processing fee of some exchanges are been affected and become equal.

At a time when bitcoin is becoming a centralized system as we know today bitcoin is decentralized with many countries or governments with this system. It might be possible to later make bitcoin legally in many countries turn into a centralized system. Cool
Yeah that might happen but the government will not change the centralized system into an internal blockchain or bitcoin system,
because that won't work. the government will do that by using an exchange or wallet to request data verification like id card

Bitcoin doesn't have the capacity to be centralized, but rather decentralized,  you can see a lot of people trying to control the market,  this is not because bitcoin is becoming centralized but because bitcoin is decentralized,  it works in a free market where anyone anywhere can do whatever he or she pleases.

This manipulations done by people in the crypto space is always for a while before another comes in.

There may be a chanced that it turns into centralized as something might be feasible to be accomplished particularly in government. However as of now, it'll no longer going to appear due to the fact the volatility of bitcoin could be very excessive and it'll no longer be a great impact to the humans.

Bitcoin was originally conceived as a decentralized coin, which is difficult to control, which is not subject to the state. And make it centralized does not make sense. Use centralized fiat.

The government is trying to control electronic money by enforcing its own rules. In the future, electronic money will also be concentrated because Bitcoin is decentralized. If it is focused then it will not change especially the bitcoin state.

I do not think there will be centralization of Bitcoin in the future. If the government wants, centralization of Bitcoin may be possible. But to do this, the government may have to face many problems.

I really hope not, If Bitcoin becomes centralized it defeats its core feature that made people love it in the first place. I would love it to remain the same and just improve on the things that they can improve on like its transaction turn around time and the high fees.

This is not possible because bitcoin already built on decentralized blockchain and not easy to change to centralized unless if there is a fork to correct it.

Bitcoin is built on decentralized technology and I think that is its trademark. I believe that this decentralization is the future of all transactions and bitcoin will always remain decentralized. that's the reason why many people are attracted to digital currencies because they are decentralized, and yes mostly because of volatility. True, Bitcoin as a decentralized currency will become a centralized digital currency because it will be the number one digital currency in the world .

In my own opinion, the centralization of bitcoin means an introduction of a third party in transactions and an interference of the protocol upon which bitcoin was built. Let's ask ourself what makes bitcoin thick? It is its privacy and absence of any form of third party in its transaction. Centralization takes of the p2p characteristics of bitcoin, hence defeating its purpose.

I hope it is just as though it were thought, in fact I hope that no country or institution will be central or central, just as in cash that makes the dollar a reference, it will be very detrimental to price controls and even market games. detrimental to its users, so if that happens then our struggle to grow btc is useless, because it has deviated far from the original purpose of btc

on the off chance that it happens I think the individual who needs to btc is focused, he needs to work additional hard regardless of how hard the present mine will be troublesome likewise for them to control it, I figure btc will adhere to its definitive objective without interfering with third individual

One of the best features of bitcoin is its decentralized nature. Making it centralized will only undermine its capacity to totally reshape our financial structure. Maybe we can still maintain its decentralization while still having a few regulations? Not about having the government have full control. But more like laws or policies that will protect users. What do you think?
