No way Bitcoin Cash will overtake Bitcoin. Just like many other forks e.g. Ethereum Classic fork of Ethereum, it will
just limp along at a small fraction of Bitcoin price.

I've never expected that bitcoin could overpower bitcoin. After last bitcoin run, I decided that bitcoin is really competing with fiat cash.

What is your opinion on Bitcoin Cash? Do you think it will have more value than Bitcoin or will it fail miserably?

What amazes me the most is the fact that Bitcoin Cash is still relevant. I mean it probably has been dumped by thousands of people, it is being mocked and hated on by everyone despite the developers and there is no certainty that they also haven't just dumped it. But still somehow it fluctuates, one day lower, one day higher, but with still pretty decent price. It's an indicator that it won't die out and disappear that easily. I doubt it will ever top Bitcoin, but by the situation we see now, it will stay relevant and maybe slowly gain in value over time. But nothing spectacular to be expected here.

It is shocking that it still holds ANY value. The blockchain itself is completely unusable as transactions are taking over 2 days to complete (last I checked). It is not sustainable -- certainly Bitcoin Cash can't survive much longer.

Of course NO! I don't see any chance that bitcoin cash can over power bitcoin by 2020 or ever. Bitcoin will always be on the top of every cryptocurrenry created.

That would be quite a tall order. Bitcoin itself has risen at a rate that is basically unheard of. For something that's started at zero when Bitcoin was at 2500, Bitcoin cash would have to not only match the rising price of Bitcoin but overpower it to such a degree to meet that requirement in that short of time.

I don't think it will have more value than BTC by 2020, the price has dropped it was around 700$+ when it came out, it might increase in future but right now I think it will drop even more so its better to sell if you have any BCH.
I agree. Bitcoin cash is only didn't have much power to achieve that. It has only few support on the community. But bitcoin cash will be on go. Just like other cryptocurrency, it will continue to operate, as another altcoin that came from bitcoin organization itself. In a long time, if luck continues, bitcoin's price will continue to increase, leaving so much to bcc, since its price is going down now

That sounds so unreal to me. I don't see Bitcoin Cash overpowering Bitcoin anytime soon. Bitcoin will always be ahead of the other alts.

Once a man, twice a child!
Really, most of the predictions on Bitcoin have not  come true. At the beginning of this year, a foremost crypto expert predicted that the coin would only rise to $2000. That prediction was seen as unattainable then. But today what do we have? Still in August and four more months to go yet Bitcoin is nearing $5000.

However, to think BCH may outrun Bitcoin is a wide guess because that isn't going to happen. BCH by the way is still an altcoin and no altcoin has the might to stand in contest with Bitcoin.

This certainly will not happen because Bitcoin Cash is just a normal altcoin and does not have its own platform. I think it will be a long time Bitcoin Cash can catch up with Bitcoin because Bitcoin has a better platform and has a specific roadmap.

What is your opinion on Bitcoin Cash? Do you think it will have more value than Bitcoin or will it fail miserably?

i think in a couple of years bitcoin cash will either be forgotten completely or it will gain some popularity at some point and the number of transactions grow and then a spam attack will take place on that chain which will lead to the blockchain size growth to a huge amount and finally centralize the bitcoin cash netowrk to a couple of data centers by miners who will deny transactions they don't like or probably becasue their government orders them to reject or monitor them.

I think Bitcoin Cash is not going to fail totally miserably as to really crash and simply become a history in the crypto world. There is still a demand for it just like some other coins even if they become just a shadow in the trading platforms. But to surpass Bitcoin is not happening at all. I seriously doubt Bitcoin Cash can pull enough strength to be able to do that.

I don't think it will ever and ever past bitcoin. Bitcoin is lot more useful in lot of services and countries. Cash is just another altcoin tied to Bitcoin.

What advantage does BCC offer over BTC and which sites are accepting it? If it offers no added advantages and not many sites are accepting it, then it can't overpower BTC.

i dont think it will take over bitcoin, bitcoin cash is just another alt coin, maybe it will worth 1/10 bitcoin, but will never reach even hàlf of bitcoin value

I think bcash will end up sort of like ETC for ETH. Overall roughly 10% of the price and a smaller buy loyal following.

That's almost impossible. Bitcoin has the "brand" on its side. The only way for BCC to overtake BTC would be if BTC stopped addressing scaling issues entirely.

For a BCH price increase might happen until 2020, but to surpass the bitcoin price I do not think it is possible. Community support is one factor of price increase ,, whereas BCH has just been born and in my opinion it is not yet time compared to bitcoin.

2020 is to soon and Bitcoin cash is not in the same league as Bitcoin, perhaps a comparison to other smaller alts like Ripple or ethereum would be fair

I think that Bitcoin cash is the biggest opponent of Bitcoin. It is sure to show amazing growth in future but i don't hunk that it will become as popular as Bitcoin and i don't think it will surpass Bitcoin .
I do not think Bitcoin cash has that much of support to challenge bitcoin for the top spot...maybe lets wait for another couple of years to see how it will hold up

Bitcoin cash is just a baby that has existed few days back getting split from the main bitcoin network. Bitcoin cash seems to be an affordable bitcoin version that gives good profit. Same as bitcoin this might grow and profit big after years. Sure by 2020 the price grows high but never overpower bitcoin.
