The argument of this article is a great possibility will could see. In trading and exchange of perceived value, anything can happen. But aside trading legacy biticoin is rock solid and barring unforsee circumstances, nothing will happen to bitcoin.

I don't think Bitcoin cash can ever take bitcoin place after the fork even if it will be supported by the next hard fork or Segwit2x it is because the market of bitcoin is very strong nowadays it has build its stability and trust of people, many are now working to earn bitcoin and also investors are now moving their heads towards bitcoin which makes it the most strongest cryptos in the market. Bitcoin is considered the mother of all crypto currencies so no matter how they tried introducting different kinds of coins bitcoin will remain in front.

BTC is king forever and there is no place to another king. May be some coins could get close to it, but take first place is unreal. All new investors in crypto come here for BTC and only after that they take look at others.

Anyone that believe that gibberish will believe anything, Bcash is a coup attempt on Bitcoin if you don't understand, I know there may be some excesses from Core team but Roger takes it too far.

hello
with my knowledge i think that there wont be a coin that can replace BTC at all. It will be the king of cryptocurrency as it is now. Smiley

Bazinga!
literary anything else has a much better chance of replacing bitcoin than bitcoin cash! even bitcoin gold has a better chance at it even though it has a 16000 blocks premined!!!

the issue is that bitcoin cash doesn't do anything! it is no different that bitcoin of pre-SegWit. it just has bigger blocks. and bigger blocks don't do shit for bitcoin, they just make the blockchain become bigger and bigger and make nodes centralized and harder to run.
not to mention that BCH doesn't have any proper developers working on it and no bitcoin user wants it.

we are currently having an awesome bitcoin cash pump and that is the only reason topics like OP and the articles like he shared are being created.
we should all enjoy this BCH pump while it lasts. which will probably be until after SegWit2x and there is a lot of profit to be made in this pump...

I would not be of the opinion that Bitcoin Cash will replace Bitcoin after the fork, as Bitcoin is still the ruler and the king of digital currency. They will keep having these issues of transaction speed, as the technology grows, because no matter what people say the DEMAND for bitcoin right now is just keep growing. The mainstream consumer will ultimately decide which brands succeed and which brands fail. All they really want is money that works. They have zero interest in how it works or the philosophical ideology of the protocol. Consumer behaviour is largely influenced by brand and Bitcoin is a more appealing brand than Bitcoin Cash.

I do not think that bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin after the fork, i think after fork the bitcoin value will going to increase more and i also notice that every fork happens it has a good result for bitcoin the value are always increasing while bitcoin cash are still few investors that is the the demand still at low volume that is why this new is not gonna happen. I continue to support and believed in bitcoin until it was exist.

Remember this, BTC is the main digital currency like US$ is the primary currency in businesses around the world. Now, even the fork is happening and the coin supply of BTC is going low and even the reward per block is going low, there's no way that an altcoin can replace BTC. Bitcoin set the standards for these alternative coins such as ETH, LTC, XMR, Bitcoin Cash, etc. without Bitcoin then there's no way the mentioned coins (or even those whom I did not include) will exist at this present time. Also, please be reminded that time and time again, after a Bitcoin fork happened, there is a 100% possibility that the price of it might be double or continue to surge up same applies with other altcoins. Which only signifies that BTC is and will ever be on top of the food chain.

More people are saying that bitcoin cash will make miracle to beat bitcoin but for me its not bitcoin cash will continue to be worthless and bitcoin will continue dominated in the whole crypto currency. No altcoin can replace bitcoin in the top of the market, more people are supporting bitcoin and more investors continue to invest while in BCH only few people are holding this altcoin.

I'm don't know where you see this news but we want to say it is can't possible . Bitcoin never replace with bitcoin cash. Bitcoin short name is BTC and Bitcoin Cash Short Name is BCH. If you thing that what is recent price with bitcoin and bitcoin cash so how it possible now bitcoin price is so high. Many people told that same question but it is can't possible.

Many people actually think this way, just look at the price of Bitcoin Cash for the last 2 weeks.

People are loosing faith in BTC because all of these forks. It's just plain stupid that 5 random guys can fork Bitcoin and earn themselves millions of $ by premining it. At one point, people will start abandoning BTC and will probably move to Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash.

I don't think bitcoin Cash will be the original bitcoin and no matter what happens bitcoin core will forever remain the original bitcoin. Sigwith1x can not decide the one that will remain as bitcoin and also sigwith2x but we the traders decided what is good to buy and the one not to buy.  Bitcoin is currently over $7000 and bitcoin Cash a little figure above $400 I think the market has decided since August the one that is original and the one that is imitating.

I don't think bitcoin rate can be usurped and still generally accepted as a means of payment by any altcoins. Yes, even forked coins that got their origin from bitcoin... Will take some length of years and a mass campaign against the acceptance of BTC, which I don't see happening, since some country are accepting while some are against, human race will remain divided over bitcoin for sure.

I doubt that this will lead to a reduction in the cost of bitcoins.

Hi guys,

I read an interesting article about the different outcomes of the Segwit2x fork. One of them is the Bitcoin Cash taking the place of the Segwit1x Bitcoin. It would allow whales to make 10x profits pumping the Bitcoin cash and dumping the Bitcoin.

Here is the ink of the article with clear explanations : https://www.yours.org/content/predicting-the-outcome-of-the-november-bitcoin-fork-89914ce0e1f5/?utm_content=bufferf3dec&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Please feel free to comment with your sentiments and thoughts about that!

Have a great day.
What are you talking about? Bitcoin is a mother, this will not likely ever happen even later after a fork segWit2x. nothing will replace bitcoin even though it is BCH. maybe if the bitcoin is unused later maybe it will be a reality, but it seems very unlikely once.

I dont think there will be any coin which will replace Bitcoin in 2-3 years now. Its really hard to get accepted by so many countries and population and a coin needs much more than a name to do that.

In my opinion it's very unlikely that BitcoinCash(BCH) will kick out Bitcoin(BTC) out of the first spot. Theoretically possible, but very unlikely. Even so, if BitcoinCash(BCH) were to beat Bitcoin(BTC), I'm sure it wouldn't happen after the Segwit2x fork. It would take lots of lots of years of convincing people to use BitcoinCash(BCH).

I agree. Past all of the forks AND all of the other altcoins available, Bitcoin has the largest market cap and has been the coin that is the most supported across those who use crypto and also those who don't. Currently, tech companies are bringing bitcoin into their systems for payment processing, and this will only continue to make Bitcoin's worth much more than the different altcoins that are available right now.

Very unlikely, the BTC dominance of the crypto market is around 61%, so it would be very difficult for a fork to surpass that number. Bitcoin Cash is going to become al altcoin and will end up fighting with rest of the altcoins for a spotlight next to Bitcoin and, at the end of the day, Bitcoin Cash will need to adapt and survive but only time will tell if it does.
