I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
I agree because china is the big contributor of bitcoin they will tend to support more the BTC. That humor is not true nowadays there is so many fake news everywhere. Bitcoin will not die because of china it is proven and we see the result. The chinese government has its own agenda.

YOLO. China does not control cryptocurrency. First of all, bitcoin is worldwide and existing in the Earth. Maybe the population decrease due to banning in china could decrease also the value of bitcoin. Well, it could be a bad news of having lower value of bitcoin but it could be the right time to buy bitcoin due to low price. Another reason if ICO disappear that will be the cause of disappearance of bitcoin.

I think, it’s too excessive, may not just because of China bitcoin will die, it’s too impossible, because it’s not just China wearing bitcoin, bitcoin has been used present in the corners of the Northern the world, even if the Chinese banned bitcoin in negerinya bitcoin don’t even instead, perhaps bitcoin will remain popular.

I agree to you big NO . even china bans btc theres so many way chinese people invest in btc we all know chinese if there is a big opportunity they always there they find a way to connect in btc.

Yes thats true and untill now I am still wondering why people keep saying this things, keep doubting about what may Bitcoin can do without China, I agree yes China is a great country in which great investors came from and that was a year ago when they banned Bitcoin  transactions, and the rexent dump is not about them anymore.

I also don't know why people keep mentioning China. I can see many Chinese exchanges operating again. Unless they are operating outside China? Also NEO, BCH and some others were already approved.

In addition to China, there are many other countries where crypto-currencies are popular. They can also be resolved and regulated by law. For this reason, I think that those who are engaged in crypto-currencies will simply move to another country and place their mining capacities.

I don't think it's possible. China is just one of the countries in bitcoin.
Bitcoin is global in nature and does not die from the prohibition of a country, and it is now considered legal in many parts of the world.

It's one factor for bitcoin not to grow fsst I must say but not a major reason for bitcoin to die,,,, since China also is a big and populated country.... If they were not banning bitcoin maybe bitcoin price might grow big more today

China showed that it strongly influences the course of bitcoin. What will happen next is a big question. Now Indonesia actively prohibits crypto-currencies

Bitcoin will not die even china ban exchanges or IcO or what ever. Because bitcoin is for world wide .if china not use bitcoin anymore yes they have effect ban not big. Because many country also use bitcoin or crypto currency . Even bitcoin price decrease for sure it will recover again because many people buy again bitcoin if they see the price decrease because they want to earn money. Bitcoin will not di!.
Yes, I agree about it. Bitcoin is not just only for China. All countries can use it and can invest in it. If China banned the use of bitcoin, there are also countries that will leaglize and protect it. It will not affect other countries because bitcoin has so many good effects. Also no one can predict when or how bitcoin will die. It will never happen.

No, I don't think so. China bitcoiners don't hold much percentage to pull down and kill bitcoin. Although we have felt a sudden dip of bitcoin it doesn't mean that it is because of the ban in china.

Probably Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be hurt by the banning of china but to the point of being dead I guess no, because there are more countries out there that tolerate the use of Bitcoins and there are some that even encourages people to invest in Cryptocurrencies.

Not possible, although China is a great power. The restriction of bitcoin only causes the price to drop bitcoin for a short time, I do not think bitcoin can be dead. Fine and still allow the use of bitcoin

If China gives up on bitcoin it will surely go down a bit but not for long. There are plenty of countries in the world to keep bitcoin up

Encrypting money is a promising technology, just as you said that China is a major contributor to growth and if China uses bitcoin it will surely have a huge impact on the market. However, this does not mean that Bitcoin will die out without the Chinese market.
