Cryptocurrency will definitely go on and very optimistic future without China because it is only one country. I believe it is just a misconception and ICO scam are the one they are after and not Bitcoin.

i don't think bitcoin will die because of China given the rate of it's growth now. Bitcoin right now is a fast emerging cryptocurrency and it's world wide. there might be some effect is China will choose to decrease the use of bitcoin but it'll not turn down bitcoin.

This would not happen even if china ban bitcoin because china is not only the country that uses bitcoin now. And now bitcoin is really pumping so high so definitely bitcoin will be more progressive after the end of year 2017.

until right now bitcoin value is increasing more and more, after the issues about Banning ICO in china in last september, price of bitcoin reached the lowest price at $3000 but you can see right now that the price of bitcoin is more than $12000 so, i think china can't make the bitcoin die hahahaha.

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?

I think that China won't be able to do anything, because there are people in China who won't want to part with bitcoin and will find an opportunity to use it...bans only fuel interest

I definitely doubt that bitcoin will just die because of one country. It is true that China is one of the most populated countries and perhaps a number of users of bitcoin will be gone because of what happened. Still, those from China who were gone in the bitcoin world is just a portion of a really big bitcoin community. So, I highly disagree to this.

Yes, china is contributor for initial growth of bitcoin. And mainly mining take place in china. But now a days conditions are different, bitcoin reached all over the world, people realised demand of bitcoin as future currency and involving invrrading and investment in it.
So due to ban in china, there may effect on bitcoin but it will not die.

The answer is absolutely No. We have to admit that China is a great contributor in bitcoin world and China is a big lost in bitcoin community but, it does not mean that bitcoin will fall without China. Besides, many countries nowadays support bitcoin. Bitcoiners continue to grow and bitcoin world continue to expand. Bitcoin will surely survive and contine to gain its popularity even without China.

Bitcoin, if ever banned by the country of China would definitely have a strong impact to the market because of the numerous Chinese bitcoin user, who are one of the biggest contributor to the bitcoin economy. But, Bitcoin will still live even after the Chinese population vanishes for there are still a lot of people who use, invest and are interested in bitcoin from a lot different country.

China is nothing, they just win bitcoin volume but not with the community. They are just individuals who are greedy for wealth, we can still fight for bitcoin even without china.

it is true that China's banning of cryptocurrency is a huge loss to Bitcoin. Although China has greatly contributed to the growth of the Bitcoin Economy, it does not mean that it's the end of Bitcoin. We can now say that Bitcoin is worldwide, which means that more and more countries recognize cryptocurrency. Just one thing is sure, as long as there are people who continue to recognized and use Bitcoin, it will not be lost. Instead, it will bring a bright future to our lives.

Stupid question. Why do you think China will destroy Bitcoin? Actually, China has admitted cryptocurrency as an investment product months ago, at the same time, Bitcoin is still illegal in most contries around the world.

Seems to me, and news, some hint that China is back on the cryptocurrency market, but even if we assume that China will not return to the market, I think it's still going to go up

it could happen because China is the biggest investor if China people leave Bitcoin I think Bitcoin will come back as in 2012.
I don't think bitcoin will die. Yes, we know that China has the biggest contribution in terms of terms of adoption but as we remembered China has been already banned the bitcoin once but there's no rumored that bitcoin has died. Rather, it goes up continuously and become enormous. That is why bitcoin is unpredictable.
