I dont think so. On the contrary, I think the massive number of the Chinese population could also help in the growth of the price of bitcoin. If the Chinese economy converts to bitcoin, we may see a significant effect.

China is a very big economy, but bitcoin can survive without China
No its not true and I think bitcoin don’t care about china because when china banned bitcoin so after that some big countries have accepted bitcoin and some of them make bitcoin legal and I’m sure that end of the year some more countries will also accept bitcoin because world realized that how bitcoin is important for them so I’m sure about china as well that very soon they will take their decision back and hey will join bitcoin soon.

It is true that we are not able to predict what will happen soon. In my opinion, I think that this is not possible, because Bitcoin developed so much that it will be very hard to kill him. China is a great power, but it is true that even they can not threaten it.

Actually I think that Bitcoin may will die a day but It won't die a long time. China or other big countries can't stop bitcoin because Lamborgini and other big brandes knew bitcoin so This is huge event for market of crypto money. Bitcoin and other crypto moneyes will rise in this market and They will be money of future.

I think that china will not affect the bitcoin price volatility. meaning that bitcoin prices will keep going up without china, my conclusion that the china country will end without bitcoin. because we see that their biggest source of income is from bitcoin mining.

To my view I don't think that bitcoin will die of China because there are several examples in the network sites i.e facebook, gmail, google etc are still surviving after the ban of China it is more popular all over the world and have no problems. Now after China's ban also bitcoin has reached its hike more people are being aware of bitcoin.

No, because China is not a threat in their journey. As long as they can maintain and be consistent on what they are doing they are unbeatable and can dominate in the whole world to become a standard currency use in transaction. Bitcoin is unstoppable company from their success.

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?

I doubt that bitcoin will just die because of China. It is true that China indeed has a huge population and there are lots of bitcoin users. However, the thing is that population is only a portion of bitcoin users throughout the world, so it would not be precise to say that bitcoin will just die because of China or one country.

Bitcoin does not care about China because when China bans Bitcoin then afterwards some big countries have received Bitcoin and some of them make Bitcoin legal.

Perhaps the end of the year some other States will also receive bitcoin because the world realizes that how Bitcoin is so important to them

Now, it's not just bitcoin that hasn't died as a result of de-sinicization. Instead, it's nearly three times more expensive than it was before, so being Chinese is actually the biggest good news.

You are correct, the answer is a Big NO. China can't kill Bitcoin, not the US or anyone. Just like Max Keiser said, "Bitcoin is a perfect currency, beyond the reach of any nation-state or cooperative effort to defeat it".

As bitcoin goes on with the long run, bitcoin will surpass these rules made by China, because of the people who are investing into it and there are alot of users today. China has a big effect on the bitcoin economic system and whatever they do affects the blockchain, but cannot stop the use of bitcoin.
There is no point of denying this thing that China is having a very huge number of investors and traders who are there into bitcoin. In spite of all the things, it is not at all possible for China to have this much of effect on bitcoin that bitcoin will die because of China. This will not at happen as China is not having any control over bitcoin. Bitcoin will remain there no matter what the conditions will be.

hi,
as I think no matter what happens after that China issue, it cant affect to BTC because at the moment BTC in a very strong position and even though China ban BTC people who live in other countries never stop buying it so it wont be a big issue. Smiley

Well after what i have experienced first hand in the last few months up until today i don't think so. The effect of china scare lasted not even 2 weeks. We have also seen Russian government and Malaysia's government try to stop bitcoin. As well as other private big bankers even in tje USA.  Despite all that bitcoin keeps on rising in price.

I think not, since bitcoin's market caters internet users I don't think China's banning of bitcoin will result to its death since bitcoin can be easily used internationally even when your country locally bans it. People will always find a way to use it and that will make bitcoin keep on living.

Although China today is a big contributor to the increase and adoption of Bitcoin and they are mainly countries involved with Bitcoin mining because the cost of electricity is very cheap. And now the Chinese government has a rule that prohibits ICO, this certainly has an impact on bitcoin. But I'm sure bitcoin will continue to exist even without China, because bitcoin is now widely known by other countries, and this is why it keeps the bitcoin going.
