Bitcoin is too good to die. I am sure that it is not divided because it will cause irreparable blow to the image of all the crypto currencies. Lose money not only bitcoin users but all the others. And of course on the legalization of crypto currencies will be forgotten.
No bitcoin never be die because there is alot of user of bitcoin and alot of people invest there money in bitcoin the high fluctuation in price of bitcoin is not means to be die. now a day every one earn alot of money in bitcoin. most of country adopted the bitcoin and and every one do work for bitcoin.
We know that there are many fuds out there. They want to buy cheap bitcoins that why they are doing some fuds. and also for the people who wants to ruin everything about bitcoin when they become successful yeah bitcoin can die.
I am very sad to read an article about chainsplit in August, if this happens, the bitcoin body will split in two, this is a bad thing for the bitcoin price up front.
I hope people continue to reject btu because the impact he generates is so bad.
BItcoin blockchain will not split in two if the hard fork succeeds. Do not worry about this issue because most of developers and people who have high mining hash rate accept his hard fork. Just need a little bit lucky and some praying and I bet that bitcoin can never split into two. Even if bitcoin has two blockchain, it can never be die because bitcoin has been a big part of this world already I hope people continue to reject btu because the impact he generates is so bad.
I agree. Even not knowing much about blockchain and how it works, I'm sure people who are in charge will prevent any bad outcome because billions of US dollars are at stake.
It might happen if the investors leave Bitcoin. Nothing can guarantee the future of bitcoin.
But it's not going to happen that investors will leave bitcoin. It's now the momentum of investors that they will be having some good returns and they will not going to regret to pull their investors. Only those greedy traders are the ones who are leaving bitcoin for a while and shifting to some profitable alt coins.
Everyone wants more thus everyone is greedy lol. Stop blaming the traders because it is their job to take advantage of the market, you should have expected that.

either way bitcoin dying can happen if the following conditions are made 1. no miners 2. no users 3.$0 price. and i don't see it happening soon. Price crash is more possible.
Where's the blame? I'm blaming them I'm just saying that they are the ones who are leaving bitcoin and migrates to another bitcoin. So I don't find my statement as a blame to them. Even myself as a trader is doing this but not completely leaving bitcoin because I know that bitcoin is one of the strongest crypto ever.
Bitcoin wasn't die, maybe the price of bitcoin is started to decrease but it's not mean that bitcoin gonna die. Therefore bitcoin was separate to segwit and I think that is largely affect in marketing of bitcoin.

I don't think so because as what I see right now there is an increase of people who use bitcoin. And I think as technology is growing continuously so do bitcoin.
yes no doubt that now new technologies are invented and with the passage of time the technologies are growing very fast bitcoin is also a digital currency and it is growing very fast and if we take a look at the demand and the price graph of the bitcoin we will know that bitcoin has been very safe and very secured currency and it has become very popular so it can never die but will increase more after a few years.

Not sure what to make of this but right now bitcoin value seems to be dropping really fast, I have some bitcoins and I am a bit confused, do I hold or sell them off and make some money, is august really going to be dooms day for bitcoins or would bitcoins ride the storm and increase in value? would appreciate some advise from a bitcoin pro.

I'm pretty sure bitcoin will not die soon, instead of lots of news and reports, bitcoin users keep on increasing so I'm sure bitcoin will get stronger and not die for soon.
But people already been involved in bitcoin now turns to ethereum side and invested their money in ETH based smart contracts business. We need more people involved on blockchain based business invested on bitcoin to it has to live for long life.
I do not think it will be that fast. Must have a good reason to make Bitcoin worthless, at least for now.
I'm sure happening of this is with very less chance or probability. Bitcoin is very smart in the way it works on blockchain network. The equation solving along with the supercomputers had taken bitcoin towards successful era and it is a new paradigm in future too. Bitcoin is having big project as supporting entity which not even required for its success but they are making it more giant investor thus keeping it alive forever. :-)
It is possible, that BTC will stop exist as it is now, and maybe it will make a big changes. But I'm pretty sure it will live for a loooong time.
