While the fees are high and there are blatant issues when it comes to Bitcoin as a whole right now with network congestion, increasing fees, failure to come to a clear conclusion (on the part of the miners this is) I still don't think a Bitcoin is going to die through all of this, theres a ton of money involved in Bitcoin. Be it through trade, mining, gambling, mixing, companies on here, exchanging, etc and so on and so forth. These people aren't going to go down without a fight to trying to save Bitcoin from what some people think will be its fate.

I think we're going to face some sort of hard fork soon to fix what's wrong with the network, only god knows when this'll ACTUALLY happen though.

Bitcoin won't die anytime soon, at least not in the time span of next few decades.

...and when it'll die, it would be replaced by some revolutionary crypto-currency. That may be Ethereum though.
Lets recheck what you just said, you said bitcoin wont die atleast for a decade and then if it dies it will be replaced by a revolutionary crypto currency and that is Ethereum. Cheesy Hope you know what you are talking about, you think that Ethereum will improve in the future because i do not see it over taking bitcoin without having to redo everything. Tongue

Bitcoin will never die.
As long as it is decentralized the bitcoin will not die, the only constraint it can have is the mining costs

Not that Bitcoin will die but lost much of its value if problems always arise and no development being done. I won't be surprised if some of these crypto or a new one replaces Bitcoin at top. Once again Ethereum proves that it is not really the perfect network that can be the ultimate crypto of the mainstream. We will see how the powerful Ethereum upgrades its system.

If the current situation persists for too long, then I believe yes... Bitcoin will be damaged, and the small Bitcoin holders will get out of the boat first, not before paying a premium for their transaction fee to fiat, of course.
If you see the other side of bitcoin in benefits and the price I think bitcoin never die. Compare to the past history of price of bitcoin its a good sign that bitcoin has a good future. From hundreds to thousand dollar of price of bitcoin, more people encourage to use this. This time more countries and investor want to invest in bitcoin because it is legit and a good business.
yes and i am sure that bitcoin is not going to die, bitcoin will for ever because bitcoin is the need of the day. the users of bitcoin are increasing continuously which is increasing the popularity of bitcoin.
I really can’t say that the bitcoin will remain forever because it is something with a lifecycle and everything has to face and go through the lifecycle process so, for me that the bitcoin will never die don’t seems something right to state but yeah I am sure that it is not gonna die soon it have a lot to play and may be take centuries.

It is unlikely that bitcoin will live several centuries in the form that he has now. But I'm sure that bitcoin is only early in its development and it's too early to talk about death. We all extend his life. You just need to use the crypto currency and tell it to your friends

Bitcoin nowadays is growing rapidly so i cannot tell that this will die soon based on what is its standing at the present.I honestly believe bitcoin will continue to conquer the universe for the coming months and years.

The demand of bitcoin is getting higher every day, now I'm wondering why OP is asking "Will bitcoin die soon?", well obviously bitcoin would not die soon. There is a lot of people buying, investing, earning bitcoin every day, and it just keeps on recycling that is why bitcoin will remain on its feet as long as there will be users and investors of it.

Even though there would be no users or investors of it anymore, bitcoin would not literally die because it is decentralized. It will remain in the crypto world but it will be useless.

bitcoin is nt going to die soon., or anytime soon., but indeed the fees are increasing and in some cases the time to confirm the trsanaction., but btc is here to stay.
Well, right now I do not see any sign that bitcoin will die, but I'm sure bitcoin will never die. So many reasons why it can happen, and one of the reasons for the bitcoin always in the search by many people.

The fees is a big deal for people like me as a bitcoin user, i choose bitcoin because its fees are very affordable and it transaction speed is faster compare to the things that i used in the past years and if the fees will keep on increasing then i will not use bitcoin anymore and i will just find something better for bitcoin and if the majority or most of the bitcoin user will do the same thing then it will make bitcoin die.

OP is waiting one day for confirmation and because of that didn't happen he ask very logical question, will bitcoin die soon? He didn't come up with any better idea, some better reason, only argument is that he is waiting one whole day. This is happening for some time already, fees are very high I waited more then 3 days for transactions to confirm couple times, nothing new and nothing special about it. We can just hope that activation of segwit on 1 august will make that a little better then it is now, just month and a week stayed until that, its not far.

Mining fees will really kill bitcoin network and bitcoin users, that such high fees are not considerable right now and transactions are too slow to consider that bitcoin network raises the fees for faster transaction, how ironic

We can't do anything about it, the price of bitcoin now is not a joke so the people using it is sky rocketing. It is obvious that there are limitations in the blockchain, and with a lot of bitcoins to transact, bitcoin will be really slow. In the matter of fees, I think it is fair because of the price of bitcoin, we just need to make a good amount of bitcoin to transfer.

Bitcoin won't die, Bitcoin won't die soon.

Yes slow confirmation IS a problem. But Bitcoin is a wonderful thing we should not let disappear.
i agree with you that bitcoin will be never and yeah bitcoin confirmation is slow nowadays but i hope bitcoin confirmation problem will solve sooner and we know that bitcoin is now in development stage.
I myself am confused who will solve the problem in bitcoin like confirmation time, and other problems that are in bitcoin? While the bitcoin itself is decentralized? I do not really understand that. But I agree with that. That bitcoin will not die anytime soon

You need to learn more about segwit and malleabillity. Developers are also not silent facing this. The idea that bitcoin will die is just an empty argument, as they also continue to make transactions and believe in bitcoins, this trust will be a positive feedback for developers and miners. All comes from bitcoin users.

With the current situation of bitcoin, I really can't see the possibility the chance that bitcoin will die soon. I always keep on reading articles and udpates about bitcoin. And instead of reading bad news and anything that can discourage me with bitcoin, there's none. Most of the news are good and speculates the 5 digit possibility value of bitcoin.
I think bitcoin cannot die now because the situation is going in favor of bitcoin it is going towards top and many people are getting aware of bitcoin. Now countries will legalizing bitcoin too so I think bitcoin will never ends it will make a digital world.
