It really does make no sense to be honest , I mean how in the world a Digital currency can kill a social media .
Bitcoin is money ... so It's not going to kill anything , Facebook will finally give up to the fact that Bitcoin is the future and finally integrates it .

Honest 80s business!

Bitcoin and Facebook are totally different things. The use cases are completely different from one another. If social media needed decentralization, Jabber would be even more successful. Social media needs a wide acceptance, needs to be easy to use, and most of all capture peoples' attention and make them come back for more.

I don't understand how anybody can compare bitcoin and Facebook.
Bitcoin is virtual currency.
Facebook is social media.
So, how anybody can put them in the same sentence?
In fact, I think that FB and BTC can work very nicely together if FB accept BTC as payment tool

does their fate correlate with each other ? Why do they need to fight with each other? I doubt it! Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency. Facebook is social media! They are specialized in their own aspects.
