It's only a matter of weeks, soon the rally will start and $1000 will be a low value.

We dont need em, at some point the price has to surge to make room for the overall growth in the network.  The baton is passed over to new blood.

New investors required. Surging price. Old investors cashing out...

It went down but I guess its going a little bit back up again, I hope it would stop being unstable.
Its going more down now touching almost 479$ now waiting for big jump because every time its touch under 480$ then suddenly jump very good

Yes this is the right time to buy more bitcoins, some bearish people thinks that we will reach $300 but in my opinion the downtrend stops here.

The current price is a great buying opportunity, if it goes lower it will be an even greater buying opportunity

We could be close to the next shift up in price to thousands of Dollars a coin
Yep I agree but... the problem is that mining has became so polpular and there are so many new deployments of new designs...  It reminds me of the situation we had in 2011 when the costs of mining went higher than the BTC mined. History likes to repeat itself in cycles. We may see another downfall, 'death of bitcoin' titles in the press etc. I agree that long term BIT is the winner or at least some other coin (besides LiteCoin actually QuarkCoin is my favourite because of it's speed and very clever approach to the economy). Sufficient to say that once BTC goes higher all other cryptos will follow. I am sure the future for cryptos is bright.

P.S.: you know Seti and Folding? Maybe we could connect some little generator to Falling's posts, and pump water for an African village or something (useful)?

Could you elaborate on that further? That sounds interesting..

More it takes to reach 1000, more time to buy more coins at good prices.

I'm not in hurry, not at all.

The USD (AND EUR) will collapse, but not that soon. We'll see 1000 anyway next year, any month.

Probably, but who knows when. Just look at recent price history, it could happen really fast, in 1 month or less. But it can also take years. Be patient, it's just a matter of time.

I believe it will see $1000 at some point again, yes. But I wouldn't bet on it to do this in 2014 still. I guess it could be well into 2015 or maybe even later that we see those prices again. I guess we're in a long phase of consolidation and technological development now!
