of course not, it will reduce the attractiveness of the Cripto currency, the government does need to support bitcoin but make that rule not the authority of the government and not the right action from the government because it will weaken bitcoin itself

I think for this he will have to lose his key quality-anonymity otherwise he will not be accepted by the government.

As far as I know, the government can not regulate bitcoin. If they see bitcoins as a threat, they will be able to regulate and regulate the exchange of crypto and currency of that country.

Well at the same time of regulating the exchanges they already regulating the use of cryptos, same as they regulating it actually. But I think not all countries will do this.

I think it's a win for btc if government's accept it and regulate it with fair amount of tax and rules.Strange why some people here are afraid of governments and yet wants bitcoin to become mainstream. No regulation, no chance of going mainstream.
But still the experience members here in the forum are all not in favor with the regulations i do not know why but maybe because they are already used with the bitcoin operation without the government regulations. Newbies do like to BTC regulation for security among money being invested.

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?

They can and they are currently regulating Bitcoin. However, the regulation comes country by country. Some are regulating it to the point of restricting it while others are branding it as a security. Others are putting heavy tax on it while others do not. It may be good because that means its use is already sanctioned by the government to a certain extent.

We all need regulations to be approved so we can have a safe market. AML BitCoin´s transaction system employs patented multi-factor authentication for every AML BitCoin transaction.

I have seen threads like these for so many time and what I am actually seeing is that it is just being posted once again, by different people and different approach. But then, bitcoin regulation is really is intriguing. But with the current state of bitcoin, I guess no one could regulate ot these days.

As a matter of fact, there are already countries where there are certain regulatory measures installed for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and any related activities and businesses. But if you mean to regulate Bitcoin itself and not its circulation and usage, it is not possible. Bitcoin is an independent entity that is not in any way under the authority of any government.

If you want to know my opinion, for me the bitcoin gets a global accpetance most of the agreements should be totally of the governments. in this situation the government has always read that bitcoins have been threatened with a global financial system, so no one stops until the day your success comes in and it's been adjusted.

I hope that bitcoin will never regulate because it contradicts its original principle of decentralized currency

You are right, but we cannot force other countries to not regulate it since they find it threat to their fiat currencies, I guess and other concerns involving bitcoin use.

I think global regulations will be able to regulate bitcoin. for government regulations, I think it can only regulate when we exchange between bitcoin and currencies in that country. the government cannot regulate bitcoin globally. it's just that they will issue regulations when we will convert into fiat currency.

I think a decentralized cryptocurrency can not be regulated but the flow of transactions can be regulated. Cryptocurrency exchanges are likely the target of government regulations because they the ones that hold and exchange cryptocurrencies. Crypto regulations should only impose to monitor the flow of virtual coins so the monetary authorities can able to track any transactions that will be use for illegal purposes.

The cryptoworld is so decentralized to the extent that it would be difficult to introduce any form of regulations. The knowledge on blockchain technology and bitcoin is rising at a very fast rate. It won't be surprising to see some few regulations in  bitcoin transactions and other activities in the near future.

I don't think the government always sees it as a threat if its use is right and correct. The government is only afraid that if bitcoin is used by everyone then fiat money will automatically be replaced. And if that happens then inflation will occur in the country. And before that happens the government will regulate the circulation of bitcoin.

I think they can manage bitcoin well. But if that happens then there must be a taxpayer policy that must be paid for people using bitcoin. And it could be that taxes are very expensive in order to narrow the space for bitcoin users, so that the government can control everything. That is only part of my assumption.

Bitcoin cannot be regulated, it's not like a printed currency that government can print at will. The underlying blockchain technology will protect it from any government interference.

I am glad when regulation is here, it means that there is a chance for it to be legalised. Once this is done, we will go mainstream and bitcoin will moon once more
