it could happen if the government feels threatened and many of its citizens use BTC, the government might intervene by issuing rules, as long as it does not burden us as users and does not limit our space, why not? if it is true for the sake of goodness and in order to get legality from the government, I hope this can be a solution so that security in BTC will be better, even though in practice I doubt it can be realized

I think we're more likely to see actual exchanges come under regulation from governments than Bitcoin itself. That would make most sense to me as that's where a lot of the manipulation and under-handed stuff goes on.

Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
Bitcoin is incredible the way it was created and the idea behind the decentralization is a revolutionary one yet the rulers (governments) of our countries are in opposition to it. No one can tell vividly what the future holds for Bitcoin and the entire crypto market.
It is all good when Bitcoin undergoes regulation, perhaps the exchange sites will implement that. This will clear most of the tension created about Bitcoin and draw more investors to it.

I think that it would be good if bitcoin is regulated properly, then many governments all around the world can't oppose it. They think it is a threat to their financial system.

Of course, it will be regulated sooner or later because it'll make many things a lot easier and transparent for the participants.

The government can not really regulate bitcoin, the government can only impose some restrictions and set tax rates.
Bitcoin is not an object, bitcoin also has no institution.

i think no government can control it since cryptos are utilized using the internet and since the internet is a worldwide thing you can't control what is inside that thing, the only way one can control it is to have an accont that has large percentage of ownership in such crypto so that you can mandate whatever happens to that particular crypto

That is right. Bitcoin has much opportunity and advantages, so government should see and apply this. It sounds good if government create regulation about Bitcoin not banning it. I think that many country now prepare to apply bitcoin and they still negotiate with the authority. Hopefully, there will be a good news further.

In my opinion I think bitcoin would go under regulation if it comes to the point that it’s been using to any illegal activities or if it cause any harm to its users.  Also whenever the government ask for its control for the betterment of all its  people.

Bitcoin will be subject to regulation - whether we want it or not. The government structures of many countries have now concentrated their efforts on achieving regulation of bitcoin.

Bitcoin can not be fully regulated as the government will not be able to track the internet and transactions. Nevertheless, the government can set up some regulations, taxes on exchange and benefit from it somehow.

With the amount of bitcoin marketcap that has been achieved, it is time for all countries to immediately make regulations about bitcoin, if it does not make regulations then bitcoin will be a place for various illegal transactions.

Bitcoin will not be controlled by any party in the world, bitcoin will always belong to the person who owns it. That is a form of financial freedom offered by bitcoin to us, so don't worry about things like that.

Absolutely agree with, there are many ways of improving bitcoin with 1st and 2nd layer solutions, but the main network stays the same and won't be changed, it's coded already for years. Bitcoin is forever truly decentralized

Its outlandish for government to direct bitcoin alone, in light of the fact that they can't control Internet.
Just some sort of direction on the world level is conceivable, yet I question it will happen soon.
Governments can control wage from bitcoin and digital currencies when you choose to trade your btc assets to the fiat cash.

My main concern is not whether Bitcoin will go under regulation in the future but how it will go and what kind of regulations it will have to accept and also the main thing we should consider is will Bitcoin worth to invest and do transactions once it go under regulation because we like Bitcoin due to its decentralized nature and also the flexibility it has given use to do any transactions without a barrier and interruption from governments but if it go under regulations I don't think it will have the same qualities it has right now

Bitcoin can be under the rules set by a country, the rules governing the use of bitcoin as a means of transaction that can be used in addition to the official currency held in the country, but for the value of bitcoin, there are no rules that can regulate it, most governments are afraid of bitcoin because it can't be controlled, and it's a source of illegal activity, some governments appear to ban bitcoin. Maybe a few decades from now bitcoin will be regulated, as they now need to do more research on how to regulate this kind of innovation.
