Unfortunately, seeing how bad reputation banks are trying to give to Bitcoin, I doubt the price will be high any longer. Hopefully I will be wrong and some day we will all be in some tropical island having our riches party.

It might be that with 10k USD you just get bread and bottle of water at coming years.
i think that bitcoin has two possibilities in two years roadmap:
a) value near around 3000-7000$
b) value between 0 and 100$
..and what will be? nobody knows

Bitcoin could reach that figure one day. It's how you define one day which is the issue. As a single bitcoin reaching $10,000? Yes i think so. However don't think you maybe come rich on it. There are other people out there which can turn the lights off if they wish.

I really hope so but right now it doesn't look like it at all. I think an anonymous crypto currency may replace bitcoin at some point.

If it does, I think it will take quite some time. I would say no way, but I never thought it would hit anywhere close to $1000 either.
