It doesn't necessarily mean that you should buy one Bitcoin but even half of Bitcoin should be enough for your investment instead of praying for its significant decline.
And the worst part is that even if the price was ever reached again those that are asking for it will never buy at that price because they will be very fearful the price of bitcoin will reach zero, so I do not really know what they are expecting out of bitcoin, when the price is high they do not buy and when the price is low they don't buy either.

Although the market are too volatile I dont think it will get back to $700 at the current situation of bitcoin, because when there's a dip there is also investors who use the opportunity to buy. That makes the price to increase again, hence its unlikely unless all investors sell their coins and no one is buying then we can see the price to drop and even lower to $700.
The world and the market of the cryptocurrency have changed so drastically, that there is almost no one chance that Bitcoin can fall to this low price.
That's quiet impossible since people are so desperate to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price. I can still remember last month when bitcoin reaches 6K$ mark and it surges up back to 11K$ mark after people are panic buying for in just two weeks because it's already the lowest market value bitcoin had incurred this year.

It is possible that it can go back to $700 but the chance would be low. The dip has been seen at $6,000 so if the price will go down to $700 many will definitely go out of their comfort and will shop bitcoin by that time. We all don't want to see bitcoin go down as we are all holders but chances are chances although it's low. For someone that wants to buy at dip, I guess $6,000 - $8,000 isn't a bad deal to buy bitcoin if you are hoping that it will go fly to the moon again.
I do not think it will fall down to $700. There are more adoptors and bigger market of Bitcoin. Aside from that, there are countries that are already supporting Bitcoin and there are more projects and merchants that are accepting Bitcoin. So there is no reason for Bitcoin to reach $700.
I don't think that would be possible considering bitcoin's high market capitalization today and it will not just simply go down to even below 5,000$ because investors will surely buy when bitcoin's price reaches about 7,000$ which causes bitcoin's price to spike again.

Well, what could cause that kind of fall? Mt. Gox scenario is not so possible today because we have more big exchanges today.

of course not. Actually the day or day after the OP posted his question was the bottom of the bear market (briefly dipped under $6000). It'll never go lower than that again. Turns out the gains from $1300 or so to $6000 during the half year from May through October were not part of the bubble, only the mania phase in Nov - Dec were the bubble. Now the market got rid of that bubble and it will slowly build up back to $20k and upwards as it starts to gain momentum again and then the cycle will repeat maybe crashing back down to $25k at some point in late 2019 or something.

I have no idea if this post is some mild attempt to evoke a FUD or commotion - sure, there is no way of telling what future price of Bitcoin will be.However, it is very more likely that we will see $70k than $700 in the future. I don't get people who are complaining that Bitcoin is "too expensive" to buy now.
And they are switching to buy dirt-cheap altcoins instead - expecting x1000% growth, it no something I personally endorse.
