Yeah, there so many predictions out there claiming bitcoin will reach $1 million milestone in the future. the most popular prediction is by John McAfee, the founder and CEO of McAfee Security. There is a possibility to this. But i don't think it will be if things continue the way they are. A lot of investors are discouraged about the cost of processing transactions on bitcoin. 
There is a high probability that it will reach 1M on december and actually maybe even before december. If more investors will decide to put their money on it it would greatly affect the price of the bitcoin because of increase in demand and besides since the holidays are already finished, people of the bitcoin community are returning back to work again.
I believe in the power of bitcoin so i'll go with your thoughts.Eversince i started here in crypto world,my eyes are really on bitcoin and until now,i still have high hopes that it will actually reach the price of 1million within this year.The fact that bitcoin is almost there,but when it experience dips there was a sudden price dropdown,but i strongly believe that it will start to pump again making its price higher once new investors will invest in bitcoin. 
If it's 1M, I think it's not possible, but if it costs $ 20,000, maybe because the current price jumped $ 17,000 does not get this far. But do not get me wrong if bitcoin is booming and legal in some countries that have strong economies like english, swiss and germany might happen in the next few years.

Bitcoin never rise to 1 million dollars on december 2017 I don't know where did you get that news. 
Never heard any news that it rise to 1 million or saw that it rise to that price.

Wishful thinking. It would double the number of billionaires in the world (there are only around 2,000 or so, now). Where will the money shift from? From those billionaires? Unlikely.

Bitcoin is unpredictable and could not assume the future price but it would surely go up till it reaches that price (again?), i think what you're saying that 1M is in Philippine peso which is already reached by the Bitcoin last month. While the government of some countries trying to stop the Bitcoin and discourage their citizen to get involve with bitcoin, the Bitcoin will be more popular.
Well it depends into many things. if some country's government launch there own crypto currency then who knows btc will be rise up to 1M or more. everyday bitcoin popularity are increasing. so that is not impossible at all. 🙂

I think that may be the case, I hope too everything goes slowly without having to rush, given the rising bitcoin that grew so fast in 2017, I think we will also find new highs in 2018.

Currently, it's time for altcoins that have been suffering for a long time, this will for sure delay the Bitcoin rise. Bitcoin price increased over 20x last year and will continue to this year as well. In a few years, it will be for sure worth few hundred thousand of dollars. If it stays as #1 cryptocurrency of course.
I think not, it took a long time to reach 1m point. and that's hard. maybe in 3 or 4 years can reach 1m. that's if bitcoin can sustain as an altcoin leader.

If more bitcoin investors will come, this could be possible to become 1m dollar each bitcoin. The increase of bitcoin value depends on the interest and the demand of bitcoin the market. 1m per bitcoin is a long way to go but there is a little chance that it will reach, its only a matter of time.
1 BTC for a 1M dollars? It would be nice of course and everyone would wish it, I think but this year it will not happen yet in my opinion
It is not impossible for bitcoin to rise upto 1 million but seems like we need to wait atleast 2-3 years for that day.
Moreover, people mostly newbies are looking much interested in altcoins than butcoin, there unawareness affects bitcoin a lot.

Could be, Maybe more and more people are enthusiastic and more and more countries that legalize bitcoin could be later in the year 2021 can penetrate the number 1 M. Yes hopefully
