Because most of my friends believe that BTC reached 100,000 US dollars in December, so I want to discuss whether this is true Grin
You already has your answer mate , we are more than a week before December ends and yet what we have now?

For me i will answer you frankly , NO WE WILL NOT MAKE IT TO 100k this year.

and even if next year i doubt this will happen that is also why i will keep my holdings for more years and will never expect high this year and the next.
that's pretty self explanatory. the current state of which retaliated directly. I think, the current price of $100k is still unattainable. in fact, if the end of the year ends up being over $55k or $60k, that's already very good. what's more, if we start 2022 at that price, chances are, we can go back to discussing, and speculating that bitcoin price could possibly reach $100k or not.

The cryptocurrency market is completely uncertain and you can't make the right decision based on what you think. The Bitcoin market has reached an all-time high of $ 70,000, but is now hovering below $50,000. However, this year may not be possible, but in the coming new year, Bitcoin will again be at its peak Will arrive.
then what makes you believe that in the coming new year the price of bitcoin will return to its peak? as you said if the crypto market is unpredictable, most likely next year the bitcoin price will often correct because this year bitcoin has been in a bullish phase for quite a while.

We may not even see it early in 2022 as the bearish trend could be prolonged for quite some few months. Maybe in the next 5-6 months since we haven't really have experienced bearish season since Bitcoin have pumped from $15k.
The sharpest drop might be around $20k.
But we can expect Bitcoin to be hovering around $40k to $48k for the rest of the days remaining in December, after that the real question begins whether or not Bitcoin would enter th bearish season or not.
I stick to the principle 'no one knows tomorrow'...

although the bearish trend seems to be able to last for an indefinite period of time, we also cannot forget that the crypto market is difficult to predict if only using technical analysis. let's keep believing in bitcoin and prepare ourselves if the value of bitcoin will go down or up before this year ends.

The bull market happened earlier this year which it is a contradict to what we have used to know a perfect time for bullish trend as we always expect December is a season of waiting for bitcoin to hit another ATH. And the unexpected things also happen that we are now welcoming the bear season the earlier that we expected so yeah it is unlikely to happen that we were going to witness another milestone for bitcoin this month or even next year. I am also holding bitcoin today and as much as I wanted to sell it at the considerable price I can't, and hodling for a long term is the only choice I have right now.

Because most of my friends believe that BTC reached 100,000 US dollars in December, so I want to discuss whether this is true Grin
In my opinion, the price of bitcoin seems difficult to reach $100k in December because after experiencing a decline in the price of the last few weeks, the price of bitcoin is still not showing a significant increase. Therefore, maybe in December the price of bitcoin will only reach $70k especially now that it has entered the end of 2021.

to reach $70k by the end of the year there seems to be hope, although it is very difficult to happen.
today the price of bitcoin fell back below $50k and I hope that $50k is no longer a resistance line that is difficult for bitcoin to break. if this happens again of course the price of bitcoin will be stuck below $50k for quite a long time and the chance to reach $70k by the end of the year is getting smaller.

By looking at the current situation and by assessing the time that left before December ends, maybe we won't be seen
Bitcoin touching more than $70k not unless big players will come up and start pushing the market up. So far, the pressure.
still on the selling side and even there are holders who continue to strongly holds, fear is starting to draw attention.

Long-term investors can take this situation as good opportunities, while day traders need to assess deeper to avoid
having certain losses.
December 2021 is almost over perhaps we may look for the new bitcoin price all-time high in early 2022, the first quarter. Bitcoin made the last all-time high of ~ $70,000 in mid-November 2021 and now we are in December where many investors are cashing out their investments before holidays. Bitcoin price reaching $100,000 this December is almost impossible because bitcoin price is currently struggling at $50,000.
Wasn't one all time high enough? I mean, it's been only a month since the last record, which was high enough. I've already mentioned in previous posts that $100.000 was highly unlikely to occur within 2021. From my point of view, we're far from surpassing a new ATH in the near future, the market will be bearish for quite some time.

Well if it will be bearish, then it's time for us to either hedge or continue to accumulate.

We can't force the market to go to another all time high with this kind of movement, the volume is very low and everyone is very reluctant and we might see the price moving along the $40k-$49k for some time now.

And as we enter 2022, the future might be bleak and it's about time to really protect our assets against the bear trend.

It's pretty obvious that $100k is no where to be reach this December. Unfortunately, it was an expectations from us specially the school of thought that we can go and smash it like butter specially when we had our second all time high at almost $70k and everyone is shouting that 6 digits is very possible at the end of 2021. Now, it's very different, we might be at just over $45k before the end of the year. It's another lessons for everyone that we shouldn't expect that everything will be in perfect align with someone's prediction as the market is very unstable and volatile.

Everything you say is true, it's impossible for Bitcoin to hit $100k in December with less than two weeks left. I predict Bitcoin price will still
be below $50k by the end of this year, because it is approaching Christmas and the end of the year most people usually sell some of the crypto
they have for the holidays with family. So it is logically impossible for the price of Bitcoin to suddenly rise in December, if the price of Bitcoin
goes up it will not be too high. So my advice is to forget for a moment the current market conditions, and enjoy the end of this year with our
respective families. Then we will continue trading or investing in early 2022, hopefully in early 2022 Bitcoin can return to the ATH price.

Among many I thought Bitcoin might reach its peak in December but in reality it turned out to be the opposite. At the moment Bitcoin is hovering below 50,000 which is doubtful whether it will reach 60,000 again. However, nothing is impossible or uncertain in the cryptocurrency market. Everyone is hoping to get something good next year.

There's still two weeks left before this year ends. Nothing bad if we're still having some hopes that a new ATH would come by the last week of this year.
A few months ago I was very excited about the progress of the Bitcoin price that was getting soaring. And the expectation of Bitcoin reaching $100k is quite achievable, many price predictions also predicted that it will reach that number at the end of this year.
However, the price prediction remains only a prediction that is sometimes difficult to realize.
It's still 2 weeks from now to the end of this year. But it seems that if we look at the current Bitcoin price movement and the various FUDs circulating, it is still very difficult to reach the $100k figure.
especially at Christmas and New Year's, the price could commonly go down.
I hope that at the beginning of the year crypto prices in the market will really recover and there are no large FUDs that prevent them from continuing to go to the bullish market, both Bitcoin and altcoins.
Yeah.

I was hopeful too that bitcoin would be reaching $100k by this year but that's okay if it didn't happened. The price range that has happened is clear and it may no longer happen at least for this year.

We have all the months of 2022 again and if the same performance would happen just as this year, it may cross $100k and more.

because this month is not finished then nothing is impossible including bitcoin reaching $100k...

I see a lot of people who have hope for the next bitcoin ATH target, I think hitting $70k or $100k by the end of this year is pretty good. let's see what phenomenon will happen next.
yes the hope is still there but the possibility is very small, plus lately the bitcoin price has continued to decline and there is no sign of a recovery. now the people who are expecting bitcoin price to reach $100k by the end of the year have decreased, most of them have changed their expectations and hope that by early 2022 the bitcoin price will recover and can reach $100k or more.

My hopes are still alive and I am optimistic that we might see Bitcoin making new ATH before the year end despite massive bearish pressure in the market. December still has 12 more days to go and any surprise movement can happen any time . Bitcoin always pumps harder than it dumps. Technically Bitcoin is still respecting 200 daily moving average which is a good sign. I

It also is important for Bitcoin to stay above 45K to trigger a Rally to break previous ATH.
If nothing has happened, I'll just think of this as a very good ending price. Not gonna ask for more with this year and will just revert my hope to next year which is really close and approaching.

Currently, the value of every bitcoin is at 51.6k USD and we are now experiencing a price correction and hopefully it will go higher this month before this year will end. Yea, you're right $70k is possible this month after the decline we've experienced, that price is a bit fair but 100k USD? That may sound quite impossible for this year, but in the year 2022, it's very possible for bitcoin to reach that milestone.

But it will hit up to the level of 70k as you predicted because the year is already ended is remaining two weeks to hit up next year and no sign of going up.

Hope springs eternal, but for some, hope gushes forth in cascading streams.

13 days left, and yeah, I suppose getting BTC to go 115% from today til 1 January "only" means less than 9% gains spread out over this remaining period isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility... in fact, if that really happens I think we'll see a huge hole punched through the roof across to ATH.

But I'd be surprised if more than a handful of non-holders believe this is a possibility worth considering.
