In my own opinion, I think the chinese government will still lift the ban on icos. Though it might take a long time for that to happen because the will need to be convinced of the safety and the rate of scam is reduced before this can happen. I also think when crypto grow to a very high level and it is stable and other countries accept it because of the good potentials that it has, then the ban will also be lifted in china.

It seems to me that they will deny until until you've worked through its policy about ICO!

China sees that ICO is a very risky investment so it prohibits participation in them. As soon as the ICO will provide more guarantees to investors, China will change its mind.
They banned ICO and exchanged. It prohibits everything related to crypto because they can not control it with an overcrowded population. There are too many people involved in crypto so the best solution is to ban it. Hopefully in the future China will be like Korea in controlling the crypto and will lift the ban on it

I think, that as soon as they develop legal policies to work with ICO's and crypto they will drop the ban. Despite the way they treat it, China continues to be one of the biggest players on the ICO market.
Let's hope they do. China is a weird country. While considered to be communist, it usually doesn't prosecute the usage of western websites and apps. It also broadcasts American films. From people who've lived there, I heard it's more of a capitalist country, but than some scary things like total camera control of their citizens happen and you realize you're not in the West. This means that they can stop prosecuting crypto enthusiasts, but can suddenly make attempts to ban them. This would be a huge mistake, because one cannot ban the future. ICOs allow people with limited resources and awesome ideas to create great businesses.

It is a trend that China has been exhibitig for sometimes now. They ban ICO and Crypto related activities so that they can buy the dip when people start to sell off in panic

they have Hong Kong to ypass all their rules and prohibotions
It seems you do not know yet, Hong Kong is not controlled by the Chinese government. It operates independently so there are many ICO projects and exchanges being based in Hong Kong

China has already forbidden many times, and then again allowed, do not pay attention to it, it's just a routine manipulation on the news background, in time everyone will forget about it and China will refute these rumors.

Hello everybody!

Even though China has banned ICO’s, Chinese residents continue to participate and register money where it is actually legal. So do you think the “ban” is forever or are they going to drop the bans initially?

After all, the ban is not a law, it is just an order. It is absolutely possible to be changed. China is the world's largest crypto country, and I think their government will not give up crypto easily.

Got a point, China has a huge population with huge users of crypto with that their government would probably not do something that will harm those individuals and soon accept what China citizens wanted. This kind of situation should be understood by the government not just to benifit investors but also the country itself.

At present, many countries cannot do it. Perhaps this will happen in the future when the cryptocurrency is more mature.

I don't think this ban of a thing is real. This is because crypto activities still continues normal to an appreciable extent. I know of a Chinese blockchain project that boasts of an immense support from both the Chinese government and citizens co-joined.

actually I am also a little confused with the ban on ico in China, while about 4 years ago China released crypto that is neo, but in my opinion maybe the ban will be removed because now the ico project is interesting and there are also many participants, and maybe if China also makes the ico project also will be good and successful like neo coins

If China is completely banned from cryptocurrency, it may be NEO, TRON, WINGS, also not in the top 100 cryptocurrency list.
The Chinese government has banned the implementation of ICOs, because the ICO has a lot of fraud there, if for trading cryptocurrency they are open to the public.

I have heard a lot of strange news about China that always makes me skeptical about news coming from this country. most of it is false or at least half the truth. and if I am right then that is the reason why China is still investing in ICOs. however, in the end if the ICO situation continues as the majority of this country, including China will ban them forever and end their scam fest.

ICO projects in China are officially banned, but Chinese investors still invest through intermediaries. There's no way the government can completely block people from participating in an ICO.

The ico ban must have come due to a reason and till that reason is satisfied, I don't think they Will go back on the ban. Many people have lost their money through those and I think it's why they effected the ban making it illegal. People would still invest because you can't really trace them.

I think we will soon release this order, because China is a country with a thriving economy and they do not choose the best solution for their economy. Currently, many ICOs are coming out and developing in China, most of which are widely used in the industry and blockchain is the best technology in the crypto industry. The future is likely to be a legitimate ICO.
