I hope so!

In my opinion many Chinese are feverishly opening accounts right now to invest
Chinese search engines are reporting the Chinese are searching this topic feverishly!
If these guys start investing in the projects that are on the Chinese list of preferred projects I don’t need to tell you what will happen.

As an example, I am invested in Cardano and it is on the list and they also have a solid presence in China

https://www.tronweekly.com/iohk-bringing-cardano-ada-closer-to-chinese-market/

I am not telling you to buy Cardano it is an example. There are many projects on the Chinese preferred  list.

List is here:

In terms of buying an altcoin or coin in the market that includes Cardano i don't think that will be the start of alt season . If you know the news that China's Central Bank will going to launch their own Digital currency i would think that it is a big impact to the whole cryptocurrency than for them to buy any altcoins in the market right now.
right, China has great strength in cryptocurrency, with many giant investors there. but indeed in all things China seemed to want to monopolize by making its own digital currency. and I think if you continue to use a decentralized system, it can still affect the development of crypto

What about NEO seems Chinese like NEO as an investment because it went double after the speech of Xi Jinping, go invest NEO. Let's hope that the altcoin season will start because of Chinese investors, it would be great.

Indirectly now, we are talking of china beginning to support cryptocurrency with full force now and it is a good thing that they have ranked the coin, this will enable their citizens to make the right decision as regards any investment they are doing in cryptocurrency.

The list of coin that they have here on the site is still not very far from the top list coins that are already known, so I am sure they are not being biased about their judgment, the only ranking that I don't so much agree with is bitcoin. I don’t know the criteria that they see in making that list but when it comes to volume, functionality and community strength, I think that Bitcoin is still stronger than all of them and should really be ranked first in place of the EOS that they have right there.

A country where cryptos are out rightly banned, will bring an altcoin season? I highly doubt that.
Just one statement by the president about blockchain means nothing at all. Crypto space has gone unaffected (both positive and negative) through many such news.
The thing to notice is that Chinese are involved heavily in OTC crypto trades which goes undocumented. That doesn't really affect the market price as such. So increase in searches doesn't mean that altcoin season is upcoming.
It is not really like all the crypto currencies have got banned by China. It is more or less like that Chinese government is afraid of losing its power and want to introduce its very own crypto currency. In the digital market whoever controls bitcoin, controls the whole market. China desired that but now has got that this is impossible. Countries that are advanced support technology innovations certainly.

They've done it, season after season of altcoins now almost dominating.
China is a country that has ambitions to dominate the world economy, all aspects they work on with the maximum, goods needed, technology, education and many other things.
Regarding Altcoin, I think they have started seriously and there have been many crypto projects that they have already produced. At the end of 2019 and early 2020 seemed to be the starting point of the rise of China to dominate and initiate the Chinese invasion in the field of cryptocurrency.

Although hurry may not be why because they are supported under the Chinese government. where they adopted the blockchain in its government.
As Chines Central Bank launched crypto called "DCEP ". They are under the auspices of the Government because it is their central bank and adopts the blockchain for them.
It does not hurt if they rush how good this news is good for people to know more about the development of today's cryptocurrency.

China is a good hope in the future, China is the biggest market power and can certainly make crypto great, I hope that online shopping growth can be utilized to shift to altcoins.
China is starting to believe more in this market and recently a lot of good news related to this market has caused many Chinese coins to rise. In my opinion, if the trend can be maintained until the end of this year, coins such as TRX, NEO, ONT will be the first choices for all investors. I believe this country will have a lot of big changes and can legalize this market someday.

Of course, all stop at the prediction because if you want to legalize this market, it will greatly affect the economy of this country and will make people no longer feel safe when participating in the market.

I believe they are already starting in ecommerce. I have seen several projects that are into this kind of business venture. And since, there is a go signal from their President's himself, I think there will be more who will follow on this and their ecommerce industry will be integrated by crypto. We always see product 'Made in China', right? This is a good boost in crypto.

Of course, China is one of the key markets that could easily start the new altcoins season. But I think the altcoin season will follow immediately after the current bitcoin halving. So, now wait for the altcoin season, let's hop on bitcoin train and enjoy all the goodie before jumping to altcoins as well

Definitely looks like it, Chinese project did very well in the last pump and that pump was triggered when the Chinese President made an announcement about how Blockchain technology was the future, so it's possible that the Chinese has triggered the altszn, let's wait and see how it goes.

Actually in my opinion they will adopt blockchain technology, I wonder if they will approve altcoin. From my mind they will make their own cryptocurrency without any crypto coming from outside. According to the indications in your link article, there is no official confirmation.

That's how I think it'll play out, they release their own coin, and that's kind of it. Not that they will back any altcoins or btc.

However, that doesn't mean they still won't move the markets. Just the fact that they stated something positive about blockchains already moved them ... so speculators may read something else into this.

I also wonder if govts notice how easy it is to move markets. If random statements can do it, they must know they could make a bundle if they actually tried to move them on purpose ... such as China allowing Asian alts and so on. And of course said govt. gobbles up a ton of cheap coins before such a statement.  But the liquidity is so low on most alts it's probably not worth the bother for them.

It is anticipated by many that China will soon make a move in blockchain technology and it has positive impact to many cryptocurrency as of now but it can change in the near future. Surely, China's support to blockchain technology has made a big news and causing the prices of many to rise. But it will be also expected that they will create their own and compete in the market. Some coins will surely lose on China's coin. Though it will be good addition in the current variety and diversity of the crypto market.

China will create their own centralized version. Just because China said something good about blockchain doesn't meant it is supporting decentralized currencies. Whatever China's statement was, that was it, nothing more and that was not intended to manipulate and pump bitcoin and altcoins.

I assume that they will release their own cryptocurrency by adopting blockchain technology. China is famous for monopolizing the market but their support in blockchain itself have a good impact in the current prices of bitcoin and many altcoins. If they have their own coin in the market, I assume that they will implement it nationwide to maximize the use of blockchain technology or will try their best to gather more investors outside the country. If it is the latter, then they will soon have the power to manipulate the crypto market to their advantage if they are big enough to do so. It will be important to expect it and plan your investment and trade strategy well.

It seems that the application of Blockchain technology will make the Chinese economy better because with the Blockchain system it will certainly make financial transactions faster and easier, Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that records transactions between two parties transparently and efficiently. If later China will officially launch a digital currency of course this will make China free from dependence and policy interest on world standard currencies such as the dollar.

Everyone is constantly looking for a catalyst that supposedly forces the market to show the alternative coin season again. I do not think that everything is so simple.

China said that it will release its digital asset and immediately there are a lot of enthusiastic exclamators who shout that China is now the main cryptocurrency and it is thanks to China that we will see a new bull race.
In my opinion, it’s ridiculous to cling to such unreliable and unpredictable factors. One gets the feeling that many people on this forum, even those who have high ranks, are just recently.

These are political games that will cause many more to lose money.
