Sure it's impossible to say but still... after yesterday hearing i really don't know what to think. Used to be sure Libra entry will boom the market once again but it looks like Libra's not coming shortly.
Is btc halving the most promising ''event'' we are looking forward to (at the moment)?
We should forget about Libra, it's really something far-fetched. it is under pressure from both the government and the public itself, I think it will not be possible to establish in the future when there are too many limits.
only Bitcoin Halving and ethereum 2.0 are really events we should be concerned about.

I think of China adoption as one of the important factor too for crypto booming again. Chinese president's speech brings us closer to reconsidering cryptocurrency to be opened again publicly in china and unbanning all the crypto related exchange. China as one of the most interested country in investing to cryptocurrency in asia will somehow boost the market during massive purchase of the chinese people.

Yep, I believe the price will increase anytime from now, maybe around December this year. The price has been going from $7000 to $9000 and back, so there is a possibility that it will break that limit very soon and go up. Experts have been predicting there will be a bull run but we don't know when exactly, if it's not going to be this December then it will be around the halving time (before or after halving).

As for Libra, I don't think that would be possible, Mark Zuckerberg hinted that Facebook is withdrawing from Libra and lots of organisations that were part of the Libra association have all withdrawn, PayPal was the first to pull out, followed by the others like eBay, and others that I can't remember their names. Libra would have been big if it happens to be a success, but it will have no effect on bitcoin because they are both separate. Bitcoin has nothing to do with that, and will grow without it.

The expected boom is really uncertain. I expect that the called of Chinese President Xi Jinping that the country should "seize the opportunity" of bitcoin's blockchain technology will create a huge impact or positive approach to the market that will trigger the bullish run but it seems like no effect at all too so i really wonder of what the Crypto market really need to make the market to boom again.

Well yes i think a new boom will come but not this year, a new high price for crypto can come next year or after more time, now we not have enough money to make price go high.
No, those whales are waiting at right time to jump on market once it's got pumped (after halving), currently it's seems they invested their money on other kind of investment. And they are also will dump once pump already ended and make price falling again.

whales waiting good moment and good news before they pumped marker.in steady market, they thing difficult to manipulate market.bitcoin price this year still moved in limited range only, maybe before halving it will start rise smoothly and whales will come again to market with bigger money in their pocket.we should not worry if whales not coming, maybe price will rise naturally and its better for crypto.

We are still in the early period of adoption, and I believe the crypto will really boom again, it maybe not in this year  but time will come when almost all countries will begin to adopt and will regulate the use of it. Some country are seeing its advantage while others are still closing their mind for crypto, but still we are just starting, so we should not lose hope.
Yes it will on that far that the cryto will start to boom again, But the question is on when will be start it comes months or years begin. Maybe it should need for us to wait on that happen because their are time also crypto will be boom quickly. And well if we have believe in crypto we cannot lost our hope and we still continue earning while waiting the part of crypto be boom again.

We hope the upcomimg halving for the bitcoin will be good and the affect or result will turn to the bitcoin very high. You know even Libra will coming soon I don't care about that because that is stable coin does not affect to the bitcoin value because for sure the people will stick to the bitcoin because the price is changes that people can have a chance to earn money that's want really want of the investors.
There is no doubt that bitcoin holds a bright future and it will be touching such high targets which nobody can ever imagine. This has also happened in past. Majority didn’t expect it to be worth 20k dollars but there it was, becoming the most beneficial and expensive asset of the world. Moreover, it is not bitcoin that depends on other altcoins but the whole world of crypto currencies survive on the basis of bitcoin. Libra is nothing in front of the king, bitcoin.

Like you said no one knows. You can never predict when it is going to happen. Well, you can predict, but then again, there are those external unseen events that might make things go against your prediction. Like you said, people predicted that the price is going to rise due to Libra. But no one expected Libra to go away this way. Thus no "boom" took place making your prediction totally wrong!

Libra is nothing in front of the king, bitcoin.
There is no assurance that Libra will be launch, so let us not compare it with bitcoin yet, if this will be launch, it will launch as a stable coin and centralized one, bitcoin does serve nothing but the majority of people in the crypto space so in the long run, BTC will still win.

it does not make any sense to compare Libra with bitcoin because bitcoin has much more strong roots in crypto world as compare to Libra, as uptill now only few people using Facebook know about Libra while the rest of the people even do not know about this coin, and nobody knows that whether Libra will maintain and survive after its launching or not, while everyone is sure about the survival of bitcoin and everybody knows that bitcoin will always be first in the market.

I really don't understand all of the hype around Libra anyways. Why do we need a centralized currency, from Facebook of all places(whom we know doesn't care about your personal data) that is pegged to the USD price? Between now and for a little while after the Bitcoin halving, we should start to see a bull market come in to play. That's where my money is right now. I honestly don't care what Facebook does with their currency.
I am also with you I know it’s a social media era where people trust social media the most so Facebook will try hard promoting their coin. I am having great trust and faith for bitcoin because for me it is the best coin that has the ability to rise up and overcome all lose even in days that’s why yeah,  bitcoin will give a good pump and you will get good news soon about blooming of the market.

what I think is, many crypto users are hoping for libra, because that will open the way for cryptocurrency to be accepted in the community, and change the public's view of cryptocurrency. although libra is a centralized coin, it will make people aware that there are so many cryptocurrencies out there, and the best is decentralization. however it can be a plus when people open their minds about crypto, and libra might be able to open it. IMO, there are still many people who do not know the development and benefits of cryptocurrency at this time. most of them see that it's an investment fraud or something else.

In anticipation of a new crypto boom, people cling to any possible catalysts that supposedly in the future will be able to give a boost to the market.

But analyzing the behavior of the market, we can say that it always acts in the opposite direction with respect to those expectations that prevail among people in the market.
Now everyone is looking forward to a new bull race, they have been waiting for a long time, and this is one of the reasons why he will not be in the near future, I am convinced of this.

The libra is a centralized coin, which means that it cannot influence the price dynamics in the market too much. As for the halving, the price after a hawing rises a year later not earlier, and so it was in the past, as it will now be unknown, everything can play in the opposite direction.

all we can do now is wait, wait until the crypto boom again
Libra cryptocurrency and the Chinese state cryptocurrency that will be circulating
I think will make the cryptocurrency market crowded again.
Libra's era has been ended when it was launched on market. Some were said the pump of bitcoin to above $10k many months ago was because libra coin. But now, when bitcoin was below $7600 it was got pumped to $9600 just in a day, which is market is very unpredictable

We cannot actually predict when will that most promising event happen that's why it is important that we stay updated on the happenings on the crypto world so that when that happens, we can make the most from it and avoid missing out. We should not be decieved on what we see on the news and trust our belief and hope for crypto. Let us hope that Libra can be crypto's cue on being the most successful and most beneficial investment in the world again.

Well, being a trader I wish to see cryptocurrencies pump again so we can get some profit but when I look at the market conditions my wish turns into MAYBE, the chances are 50% no one is sure about that question because the market crashed badly. So let's hope for best to happen!
Let's just consider it for a long term basis. Because bitcoin started from nothing and now, we reach this price with just depending on supply and demand. So basically, there's a higher chance that bitcoin will undergo a bull market again. Still, even though it will not, I am sure that the price will be increasing slowly. Because every day, there's a lot of people recognizing bitcoin and investing in cryptocurrency. For a long term basis, I am sure that the bitcoin price will pump.
