Of course it will, really big money has not entered this market yet, so far only hamsters are being shaved, so when large banks enter hedge funds, then there will be a new boom and new heights. Cool

Well, being a trader I wish to see cryptocurrencies pump again so we can get some profit but when I look at the market conditions my wish turns into MAYBE, the chances are 50% no one is sure about that question because the market crashed badly. So let's hope for best to happen!

Sure it's impossible to say but still... after yesterday hearing i really don't know what to think. Used to be sure Libra entry will boom the market once again but it looks like Libra's not coming shortly.
Is btc halving the most promising ''event'' we are looking forward to (at the moment)?
For the record I never expect anything for Libra it is centralized which most of crypto user doesn't like.
But for the BTC halving I am also expecting it to be the reason for the BTC price to soar high again.
I think that Libra project should even be taking out of many project that we should expect to make the cryptocurrency market to boom again, because even the Libra team have confessed themselves that the project may not hold if they don't get support from regulators which I even think that  it is not only regulators that is their main challenge, but even the end users that they are projecting their product too, so Libra may even be the least of coin right not we should out our mind in.

The main project that everyone needs to support is even bitcoin, because we all know that if bitcoin does well, all altcoins will also do well as we can see the proof recently that there was massive pump of money in bitcoin which made the value of bitcoin that rose to affect virtually all the altcoins that are within the top 200 in the market.

all we can do now is wait, wait until the crypto boom again
Libra cryptocurrency and the Chinese state cryptocurrency that will be circulating
I think will make the cryptocurrency market crowded again.

You mean centralised coin like Libra and Yuan back up crypto? I don't see it being a factor or at least will have an effect on the market. I mean Libra has been taking a lot of backlash from governments around the world, although I believed they are going to go live next year, but I doubt it will put a dent on the price positively.

If you look at the previous history of bitcoin, definitely the price can grow exponentially. The thing is that it may take some time though, if you are running out of patience here, then it's better to exit and just come back when the market is booming again. Expect like over a year, after the block halvening, maybe 2021-2022 will be our bull run year.

This depends on what you believe but for me, I believe crypto will boom again as I believe on the potential of crypto in the future.
With that said, it's recommended to accumulate when the market is bearish if you want to witness and enjoy the future of crypto.

Bitcoin has reach its ATH last 2017, it was down at $3K+ and we thought it will not recover again, but here are now witnessing btc have its big pump in the past few days and that is a market changer that would help to boost people's belief that crypto especially bitcoin will not be going anywhere.

Well i have no about altcoin but there is no doubt bitcoin will "boom" soon (hope so). Every time altcoin goes down when bitcoin price drop but at the end bitcoin recover the price but altcoin couldn't. Now days it's really hard to believe that altcoin will rise again. I know many people will say about patient but i have no idea how can a altcoin recover that self if it's already down 99%..?

Who you think can answer this?
Bitcoin just saw a jump of almost 30% and no one has a reason to justify it. This shows how unpredictable the market is. Don't lose on other opportunities by waiting for the "BOOM" like 2017. We might not see a growth in triple digits but you can multiply your returns by taking leverages (but be cautious when trading with leverages). Try to make the best out of the present volatility. If you are in for long term. stay in BTC till the next halving. Past trends have shown that halving is usually followed by an uptrend.

Even I was skeptical about the recent market fluctuations and even made some posts advising people not to react to these fluctuations but I think we can make good amount of profit with these volatility because what if the expected bull market never returns even though we have high hopes in bitcoin halving but still we need to be prepared for the worst. I would still say trading during this volatile situation is not everyone's cup of tea but it will be better for seasoned traders and users to get benefited by the fluctuations.

The BAKKT increase in daily trading which most of there users support and predicted the price of bitcoin market to surge was one the reason behind the sudden surge in the price of bitcoin market but it just a partial trend and it will be working days before we can actually know the trend the market really pose.
Well, I also read the news in the cointelegraph that says that Bakkt's last trade seems to be making a sharp rise in the price of bitcoin. in fact, the highest increase in bitcoin to date has reached 30%, some news that this price increase could reach/exceed the price of $ 10000. I think Bakkt really does affect the price of bitcoin.
Though BAKKT has been launched recently, I guess hardly it is a few months old but this exchange has been observed influencing the prices of bitcoin significantly.
The influence may not last long cause BAKKT is not the first futures contract to be launched in the crypto sphere although it has some uniques features which the previous future (CBOE, CME etc)contract dont have.

If bitcoin is getting affected, it clearly means that rest of the currencies in the crypto market would also be showing increase in the values. The next year is going to be great one for the investors and holders especially the later half will be full of surprises.
When bitcoin halving is approaching the trend of the bitcoin market determine what will happen to the altcoin market.

Market can't be predicted because whales can do whatever they want, the regulations not being bothered on bitcoin does mean that people could do whatever they want.
The market can be predicted but it may pose a different trend base on the level of demand and supply. Although, the whales are the major player of the market but that doesn't mean every trend pose by the crypto market is done by them.

There is no "SEC" in bitcoin and there is no other country meddling with bitcoin neither so in the end bitcoin is untouched by any governmental branch so if you want to buy 1 million dollars worth of bitcoin today, there is no law that says you can't do that or if you want to sell 1 million dollar worth of bitcoin then there is nothing that says you can't that neither. This is why bitcoin doesn't really have a predictable future, anyone can do anything and we just have to face the reality that it will be really doing whatever it wants and we can't do anything about it. Price to pay for decentralization I guess.
Of course, there's SEC in bitcoin and there's also a lot of countries and governments which still meddling with bitcoin and this the reason why some governments still detest bitcoin.

I don't know about Libra's effect on the market, but the halving can always have an influence.  I have always thought the halvings are priced into bitcoin's price well before they happen, but I don't know.  Last time the increase happened before the actual halving occurred if I'm remembering right.  That might be the case right now.

Yes, crypto will boom again.  We've gotten a taste of it in the past 2 days and it's nice.

Bitcoin just saw a jump of almost 30% and no one has a reason to justify it.
Scary, isn't it?  This is what makes hodling bitcoin so stressful, but luckily I am not fixated on its price moment by moment.  I check it maybe a couple of times a week and don't look at my holdings much.

Bitcoin halving is one of the exciting events in the year 2020 because after the halving the price might pump or might hit a new all-high price just like what happen in the year 2016 where there is a halving and in the year 2017 where the price hit the 20,000$. I do not see any connection in Libra and in the booming of the market and as of now, we do not know if LIbra will really have a great future just like bitcoin and others top-rank cryptocurrency.

I am optimistic about the growth of market and we will surely see boom in altcoins soon as the chances have increased with increase in bitcoin price and alts have also followed the rally with pump in prices so be postive about it.Next year halving can pump prices so who knows what happens next in this volatile market.

Of course but it takes time . Because you know there's still some factor that keep pulling down the growth reason also why market now become unpredictable.  But don't lose hope it will never last as long it still showing a strong support. Expect more progress in the future instead ! Because despite of the current situation for sure cryto still have a potential to boom always after all the worst ..just put more patience because that's the requirements when it comes doing trading and etc.
We all know that digital market is a volatile one and the asset that it depends on is the most volatile one in nature so far. What amazes me is not that people still don’t get the fact that bitcoin is highly fluctuating in nature but that people still doubt its survival skill. If someone still doubts it potential after a decade, he does not deserve bitcoin at all. The king holds a bright future and so does the market.

Yes, there is no doubt from me that Bitcoin surely will boom, and BTC halving is the next big event that can change the whole crypto scenario into good condition! History says after every Bitcoin halving, its price went to the moon, so it will repeat again!

Bitcoin halving is undoubtedly a major event and helps the market grow. but soon it is an ethereum 2.0 event that will take place in January 2020. If it is a successful one, I believe that Ethereum will attract more investors to the market.
Besides, I also hope that the Chinese government will soon have financial support for the crypto market.

With each pump, the next boom becomes more unpredictable. This once again proves that the market cannot be predicted. At least, personally, I think that in the next couple of years there will hardly be a new pump, but time will tell.
