If you have serious reservations about crypto going to zero, then you will have to invest in something outside crypto. Crypto remains uncertain despite its gradual adoption around the world. Bitcoin has been around for a decade and yet its use as a currency is still very minimal. If it remains to be this way, we'll just have to pray that it will last a little longer as an asset or store of value. Otherwise, people will start thinking that it has no actual future.

I don't think I believe that crypto will also experience zero price. I am also still confident that the price of crypto will also increase at this time, because seeing changes in market prices also experience good price developments in the future.

Our technology is getting better mate that's why ppl prefer to use crypto currency than other methods  when it comes transaction because of being so easy to used. So in my opinion it's impossible it will become zero in the future because in fact the demand still getting higher even now year 2019 so there's no way.  Unless all government around the world hates it wherein maybe there's a possibility.

It cannot go to zero anymore but for sure some projects will go to zero and going bankrupt and some of them are in top 10 or even top 20 in my opinion. VItalik told this but didin't mention that bitcoin or ethereum will go to zero so have faith and make sure you buy the correct coins or simply just stay to bitcoin.

Why should cryptocurrency be back at zero. No one will tell government not to bring up theirs and no one will discouraged nongovernment backed cryptocurrency.
Come what may, decentralization will still continue to have its course, which will definitely be lacking in government owned coins.

Infinity or Zero  Huh

The probability of hitting zero is higher than going through uptrend prices forever. The physics of the market will change one day which will be known as a day for the answer to this question. The random outcome of the market nature forces us to think about the low prices but thinking about the dead coins is quite immeasurable like dreaming the BTC under $1 in my opinion.

The falling market will go more deeper but there is no need to touch the zero price. Zero price means no liquidity, no volume, no trading and I doubt any exchange will let the financial tool continue to be traded by traders if the value(price) aims zero USD. It is unlilkely will happen in my view.

Nothing can ever go to zero. Is is not possible for something to have 0 value. FOr that to be true it would have to not exist. Even the smallest of things has value. It's ridiculous you even asking this.
What if the interest turns off tomorrow? What if everything stops working? What if the power in all the world goes off? What about zombies? -_- Not a very well thought out thread....

That is far from predicting that if crypto becomes zero, investors still believe in altcoin for the foreseeable future, maybe Vitalik has also prepared it in 2020, then Ethereum will be renewed.

Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero.

I agree with Vitalik, all crypto coins potentially go to zero someday but we don't know how long it is. Not only crypto, but Fiat may also disappear someday as some theories stated the potential of no value of Fiats in the future. However, it is still predictions/hypothesis and not to happen in the near future. So, we don't need to be panic now because everything still supports crypto or even Fiat as well.

The potential of crypto to zero is currently not predictable. The regulation of crypto and digital currency is not yet fully endorsed, but cryptocurrency in the future will increasingly develop along with the development of better technology. Many crypto projects are no longer useful and die, but more crypto projects have good potential for the future and even today are quite successful and are used by many people.

Asking about crypto going to zero, do you really mean the entire crypto space or what? Because I can't really fathom a coin like Bitcoin going down to zero in the near future but if in the case of altcoins then it is a big YES. Currently most altcoins are already worthless with the team no where to be found which proved that they really didn't developed anything good. Also, as time goes by, the chances of many altcoins going to zero is high as the crypto space is becoming highly competitive which is a good thing.

There is no certainty when it comes to crypto, but I strongly believe crypto won't go to zero since there are constant improvements in the underlying technology (blockchain technology). More and more sectors, even government authorities, are harnessing the blockchain and provided the blockchain essence continues, I doubt if crypto can be removed out of the picture. It's a fact that most altcoins will be dead in the long run, but not bitcoin.

I'm not thinking about it. If crypto can potentially go to zero then from its very beginning to mid-time of it, there will be no longer attention from the people who are looking for investments. But I think it's being well established and for some altcoins, let's accept the fate of them that they will literally go to zero.

And for bitcoin, I can hardly imagine.

That is super unlikely Complete zero is an absolute no no for sure but along the way so many altcoins and project will get dropped just like now some dormant coins are having values but traded volume is actually zero thats useless so with time am sure some shitcoins will be weeded out

I don't think crypto as a whole will be going to zero, rather only those (a greater number) with nothing to show for will go to zero although many are already doing so. Gone are the days when hype is the other of the day, nowadays it is all about what a coin can offer which will keep it relevant in the near future. Yes, Bitcoin till date still stands as the most valuable coin even with its slow transaction confirmation owing to the fact most altcoin developers don't really know what they want; at the onset they claimed they will beat Bitcoin but today we aren't hearing about them again thus showing clearly that most developers are yet to really understand what it takes to be relevant in this space. Therefore, until developers or team starts looking beyond the fund they are to generate and start focusing on developing a tangible product they will continue being at the crossroads of going to zero sooner than expected.

Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero. There has been many concerns about the longevity of cryptocurrency as a serious form of money, given that it's relatively unstable within the mainstream world. It's been 10 years since Bitcoin was created where crypto has had its ups and downs. However, many are afraid that crypto will be going to zero as the blockchain hype ends and governments start rolling their own digital currencies. When we take a look at most cryptocurrencies on the market, most of them aren't even useful at all. Perhaps, the only one is Bitcoin but it's terrible as a currency for daily transactions.

Which is why, I'm starting to wonder if crypto will really go to zero in the future? If this happens, then most of us will lose our hard-earned money as crypto becomes worthless. What are your thoughts? Huh
