Probably Yes, but that will not happen in the near future. To be honest bitcoin is not the best coin technologically, if you remove the price tag there are better coins in the market today and etherum is one of them.
Currently bitcoin remains the first. But everything in crypto can happen quickly. One day it could be the lead ethereum.
This can be possible..but i don't think that Ethereum's value can grow more than BTC's value over time...BTC will always be the KING of crypto.

This summer it almost became a reality. I think that the etherium has all the chances but it will be done very hard because the bitcoin was the first and because of the great people belief in bitcoin

Ethereum will surpass BTC probably in 2018, BTC is not going to last for much longer. When PoS arrive to ETH it will be the end of BTC.

I strongly believe that Ethereum will be the de facto alt coin. I suppose its fair to say it already is actually, considering that it is the single most used blockchain at the moment as Bitcoin has essentially become a store of value. I doubt that it will eventually surpass Bitcoin though, i think Bitcoin is far too gone and all others will simply increase in adoption and value but not actually catch up with Bitcoin.

I think it has a good chance, but maybe not for a while. Bitcoin has all of the publicity at the moment, and alts are trailing in its wake. Give it a few years when smart contracts have become part of everyday life, and ETH could well be number 1.

ETH is aiming to 1K in next days mark my words, but a lot of good coins are rising so it is one of many choices

I guess it will be like 3 or 4 year that ETH lead the cryptocurrency market and overpass or be equal to BTC, but it´s just a prediction.

I think that Ethereum will never lead the cryptocurrency market,as that will be done by the Godfather himself Bitcoin. However, I think that Ethereum is better than Bitcoin, its just wasn't first, Bitcoin was.
One thing is sure Ether is going to be good for future as many projects going with this technology if he is not going to beat bitcoin he is surely going to be very good in future which is good for bitcoin these both have very good future and good way of investment for thousands of peoples here in this community
I don't think ETH will lead cryptocurrency maybe second to btc as we can see the increasing value of ETH continue.
