the ATH happens 3 days ago and yet that is 43 hundred dollars , meaning 700 dollars away from breaking that 5k target.
Hoping to see it coming as i have been keeping my ethereum since 2020 and waiting for that 5k and up before selling and converting into Bitcoin all of my ETH .

Taking into account that I see bitcoin going up in value significantly during the next months then I think that at this point it is inevitable that we are going to see ethereum reaching that price at some point during this year, and if it does not happen then we could see it during the next year, so anyone that is holding ethereum right now should feel incredibly happy about it as they are about to make a bunch of money during the next months without too much effort. However,,, $1000 is only 70% drop for ETH so for sure it can and most probably will crash much lower than that,,, remember it was over $1400 and it went down even to $80 which is almost 95% loss from ATH.
Ethereum is not Bitcoin,,, but even BTC saw 80% dip from ATH. So be ready for anything and everything here.
The bear market will come sooner or later and as you say, Bitcoin can easily drop by up to 80%, and the price of altcoins has always dropped a lot more. When panic sell on market occurs, the price below $1000 will be possible if the new ATH will stop below $10k for 1 ETH. At the moment, we are facing huge changes that only herald an increase in the price of ETH 2.0. I don't know if the $5k level will be reached in 2021, but in 2022 it will happen for sure.
Maybe the market is ready for this situation. but i am not ready. I don't have much NFT in there. I hope it doesn't go up too fast. You don't need NFT.What you need is to hold Ethereum before it reaches $5k. So if you're not yet ready then you should be prepared then so that before it happens, you already have your ETH.
And before it closes in to $4k, I think you should start buying.

How I wish I have a power to predict the ethereum price, based on what I have seen Bitcoin is now start to be bullish again and I think it will continue to rise with a small correction in the next few weeks but 2021 is a good year for crypto so I think ethereum will rise soon, maybe it will rise up to 4.5k$ or maybe reach 5k$ this year. Maybe if Bitcoin will continue to soar up ethereum will follow and it will reach 5k$.
I believe the bitcoin rally will not last that long. the movement may be more stable in the current price range or even a slight correction. and that is the time as altcoins including ETH are gaining momentum to build a pump.the rest of the year is so short, it's really hard to expect ETH to get such a big-pump momentum. maybe next year.

From what has been seen now, it is very clear that Bitcoin seems to want to experience Bullish along with ETH which has started to increase again, although not in large numbers, but if Bitcoin can continue to experience price spikes in the near future, then ETH will also follow suit good. 
Should Ethereum first do something or promise (again) to do or improve? Ethereum still has a lot to gain. $1,500 is a lot. Seeing how Bitcoin price grows, wont people switch more to cheap and popular alts, calling this situation as a start of an alt season?
I am a bit afraid, that current growth is just temporary. Another trap for those who wants to jump in the rocket. I can't help but mention fees. They are still high. This problem is still unsolved. I really hope that wont slow down Ethereum price growth.

Yeh it can happen that ethereum will hit 5000$ in 2021 end because in crypto history October, November, and December are the bullieshest month ever in every year. People has taught that btc will hit its all time high so if btc hit its all time high then its possible that eth will hit 5000$ so keep eye on them and wait for year ending
Probably I think it depends on other L1s and their possibility of growing super wild Imagine ADA smart contract kicking in and solana or maybe xrp I mean there are many line of coins that can actually make great pump but still if eth manage to keep up with the competition then ma sure there will be great pump for ETH and also dont forget institutional investment so maybe eth can hit pass 5k but trend and watch other coins carefully
This could happen by the end of the year, even if it doesn't happen but still I personally believe that ETH will surpass $5000 sooner or later, the development of crypto is getting better and better, see now so many altcoins have smart contracts but never reduce ETH's credibility as the best altcoin that has ever existed to date, there are many cheaper ones when transaction, but the popularity of ETH will never fade as the king of altcoins.
