There is always a possibility that ethereum will reach 5k$ this year. Ethereum price is now above 3k$ and still rising of ever it will not reach 5k$ this year maybe in the first quarter of 2022 we will see the 5k$ price. We just need to wait and spend some time on collecting update for is to stay informed with some good news that can possibly affect the price.
We all know that after bitcoin Ethereum is considered to be the king of all crypto and it has great potential and we will definitely see 5000$ very soon. Most of the analysts are predicting that by the end of 2021 Ethereum will reach 10k$ milestone. As more investors are investing and holding Ethereum it will definitely go high. So buy eth now to get 3x profit at the end of year!

If we look at the current market situation, it is difficult for Ethereum to reach $5000 before the end of 2021. I suggest forgetting it because the crypto market looks like to start a bearish season. Just hope we can survive till the next bullrun season again, so we can expect that ETH can reach $5000 in the next bullrun season. For me, the highest price of ETH has been reached already in the last few months.
Eth is good and nice long term choice. Regarding price till this year I am not so sure. 5000 is possible but depends of btc i think and when will 2.0. be released. Many speculation we have now, hard to predict price. But next year will be great for eth sure.
All cryptocurrencies are still very dependent on Bitcoin including ETH, about 2.0 I think it has passed and has also happened within this year, unless you missed it yourself, but if for a price prediction at $ 5000 I am sure it will be achieved, but it will not happen in the next year near future or in time of market correction like now.However, if bitcoin will definitely take a big leap in its price, then we can expect that everything will be back to its normal place again. And by that time, ethereum will eventually achieve its new all time high this year.
The deep correction now makes some investors a little pessimistic that Ethereum could hit $5k before the end of the year. Even though as you said,
it is possible that Ethereum could still reach the price of $5k, because there are still 3 months left. Because the crypto market is very volatile,
there could be a surprise, suddenly the price of Bitcoin pump is very high in the near future. If that happens it will definitely affect the price of
Ethereum which will also go up, in the end we have to wait for Bitcoin to recover. Actually if the price of Ethereum fails to reach $5k by the end of

The price of ETH is for now in normal trouble due to the fall of BTC, however the bulls want to bring the price to at least the psychological price of $ 3k to propel it to $ 4k, and if a good bullish movement of BTC occurs , we could calculate more earnings for ETH:

It's too far to say until the next 5 years because in a very long period of time there will be many events in the market and even beyond everyone's predictions, so try to say something more logical in this case with a shorter time than now.IMO, ethereum with its $5k prediction might be easy to reach in its previous months but recently, the market is having a bad time in making the prices of coins move upward because of some minor dumps. If not this year, maybe we can see a new ATH for ethereum by next year so let's just still be hopefull by that time.

The road to greatness for our crypto ecosystem lies in having well lead out laws to enforce regulations. Most of us might not like the sound of this but it's the only way institutional investors will jump on board. These guys will not risk investing in assets which do not have any regulation or deemed to be legal tender and the fact that this is not well lead out our cryptos remain dormant and hence I don't see Ethereum hitting $5k in 2021. Let's wait for regulations to lead and see how this will work in favor of cryptocurrencies.

The market temperature has become colder and a reversal has been identified, bitcoin's candle zone is no longer resonate with new high signals,it has stuck to the support candle area and is falling sharply due to the continuous combination of bad news from the national economy and public opinion of China. Ethereum was forced to resonate with these signals and was in an unexpected price zone but not too long to replicate, eth just needs to get a few more chemistry and resonances when few steps is the distance in front of ethereum for that price, just lacking a little luck and user interaction

One thing i am certain, it will eventually reach $5k this year if bitcoin will never experience some serious huge dumps that will cause the market to crash. Because if not, most likely we will end this year witnessing a new ATH for bitcoin and ethereum. And that will definitely make the whole crypto market bullish again.However, we cannot say this is sure to happen as there might be sudden negative attacks that will cause the market to dump. If ethereum will not be able to make it up this year, then we still have another year to come that will definitely make the crypto market a roller coaster ride from the start until its year end.

Still away by 2k now and 3 months left. I think more or less should end up with 4k above and if btc reaches a new ATH this year then chances rises for ETH as well as we will have a bull run in ETH too and then 5k would be the key. Though may be a bumpy ride till 5k for ETH.
it's still pretty hard to predict whether ethereum will actually hit $5k this year. however, I believe that there will be a day when ethereum will hit $5k.looking at the price analysis from cointelegraph a few hours ago, focusing on ethereum, if the price continues to decline, then most likely the price can reach the price of $ 2400, or even the worst under $ 2k. however, if the price is still rising resistance, it is most likely that the price will reach the price of $3.2k.
