Now with bitcoin futures we still see bitcoin going up and there was a large demand for them at CBOE. The price is now more than 15K. So it does not look like bitcoin will crash in the next few days. However, in a week or 2 we'll see bitcoin crash to less than 8K.

The launch of future trading upon Bitcoin made a huge surge on the value of Bitcoin. Predictors are predicting it will grow more in the next year, so its tough to assess whether its going to crash or not. But current scenario is far away from any such crash indication.
I wonder how you stated that it has possibility of crashing that low?
I think that the futures will always push the price of bitcoin up. If the first day of trading bitcoin trading at $ 18,000 in January, it means that there is a tendency to increase. So the price will go up on all exchanges. Now we have the lighthouse. But if the price on the Chicago stock exchange will decline it will be a signal to the fact that the need to keep coins and to reduce the demand. In General, I have the most optimistic forecasts for next year.

before the end of 2017 we'll 20k usd prices in bitcoin as far as i think. and there won't be any crashes just minor corrections, this is not a shitcoin or pump and dump coin, this is serious people. So i wont expect any further, dramatic crashes.

I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'. My transaction has been stuck for 12 hours and I've already lost a good deal of cash waiting for it to go through.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.

No price keep this way hope to break 20,000$ and more before end of 2017

we have great year and bad to end it with crash

I was told to cash out, But I was saying no as I didn't think it would crash more then 60% and then 20 people told me to cash out so I did... NEVER AGAIN...

Trust your gut guys not some guys who got lucky one time and made lots of money on trading

Why did you trust those guys? Look at the current price, it has recovered and now trying to test $17 once more but I think there's some resistance and the price is swinging wildly but somewhat settling above $16K. It went down to $13K and I was alarmed as well, but thinking that this is just a correction, I wouldn't bulge from people telling me to sell as well. I make my own decisions, its my money anyways.

I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'. My transaction has been stuck for 12 hours and I've already lost a good deal of cash waiting for it to go through.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.

I personally define crash as a minimum of 50% drop from the current price and I doubt this will happen any time sooner. There should be a tremendous pullback of investors, a very horrible news circled the community, and other misfortune happen simultaneously or consecutively in order for the said crash to happen. And for now, I highly doubt.
I doubt it will crash anytime btc has been continuesly increasing. Were seeing of fallback of the value but it will regain to the current price and continues be. Bitcoin proven to be strong because of the fudsters or many prediction to crash it yet it is still stands highly.

Yes, its just a fallback that we have seen over and over again. And if you are too emotional and didn't know how resilient bitcoin is, you will really immediately dump it because you don't want to lose your profit. However, for those who are been here for almost a year now, is normal and bitcoin has also shown in the past that it can go even further after a crash or correction. So this price movement will end up to $20K at the end of this year.

Lol yeah, a lot of people were panicking and saying that this was the end of 2017's bitcoin rally but obviously they have been proven wrong again. Huge bear trap that was met today with a 20% rise and i would think that the all time high will be broken soon.

Don't make the mistake of joining the selling crowd when people are selling on an hourly basis. Nor the mistake of joining the buying crowd when everyone is saying great things about bitcoin, saying it's going to go to the moon etc.

Basically, BTC isn't crashing, anytime soon.

Yes mate I made similar mistake when the value of bitcoin was $2000 as there were wide speculations that $2000 will be the highest and soon it will drop down to $800 I made a big mistake by cashing out and today's it's in the process of reaching a new landmark of $20,000 so it's better to go by own research and instinct rather than suggestions or predictions of some random members who have no idea about the market.

I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'.
I sent from my Ledger to Coinbase.

this is not called "cashing out"!
and the issue is that you have simply included a small fee in your transaction. if you are afraid of the drop (crash) then just calculate how much you would lose in case of a crash and then compare it with the fee that you should pay if you want a high priority (400 satoshi/byte) if it is higher than that then just include a higher fee and sell as fast as you can.
There is no crash coming in future days because bitcoin community is mature now and they will not sell at the same time to create any chaos in the market and maybe a small fall occur people will be ready for the buying time to start and after that there will be much pump in the price when the buying Is over so a fall here will take prices to the whole new next level record and instead if coming down price will grow more higher.

The fact is that there is a lot of information that users expect several Bitcoin forks before the end of this year. This situation can greatly affect today's price on Bitcoin.

The coming forks are garbage, and for that reason will not affect the market -- they are nothing more than an attempt for the people behind them to obtain instant profits. Currently the only thing that will affect the market are the CBOE future markets going live tomorrow. Current sell-off might be initiated to make coins from weak hands flow into stronger hands, or the market was bought up in the runup to this event, and now it's almost here, the excitement is gone. I cashed out some profits not that long ago around $16,000 because of this exact situation. Chances were there for the market to go down before the future markets go live, and it seems that this might actually hold value.
I don’t know much about future but the price is again at 13k and this is sort of crash which everyone was waiting time has come go and grab your coins otherwise it will be very late this crash is just because of people who sold out their coins for the profit purpose and the vacant space will be filled soon so don’t waste collect money and invest into bitcoin maybe this price will never come again so take advantage of it,

After a bull run, Bitcoin Started Bleeding. Its a healthy correction. Only new people with weak hands get worried over a small dip. Great time to take advantage and utilize this dip to increase your position. Alot of people getting rich on the margins.

Guess that happens when you got easily swayed by emotions. Many people are making the mistake of selling when the price decreases not knowing that cryptos are like this and it seems like after decreasing it will increase again like after 2 days. A crash is a good opportunity to invest more and is a good chance to earn more profit after the price rises again. This happens before and I am sure that many people have gained good profit after the crashes that had happened. The price of bitcoin seems to continue rising and if ever there will be a crash again, buying will be harder because the price still looks high compared to the prices from previous crashes.

Value bitcoin currently difficult to crash as it did few years ago.

Back in the days it was more like blind speculation, where people now due to the adoption that's picking up gain more confidence. In addition to that, people aren't selling their coins like they used to do back in the days, so the corrections that we are going to experience in the future will not be of the same magnitude anymore. People now more than ever understand that selling Bitcoin will most likely only end up in a big disappointment due to the constantly increasing price. People who secured profits around $3000 thinking having made a great deal, look back frustrated if they haven't bought back their coins at significantly higher levels after that. Shorting Bitcoin will cost you badly in this market, and it seems that people somewhat start to understand this.

Today the bitcoin drops up to $ 2000, and seems to continue to fall as users choose to sell and profit-taking. but I will hold and will not sell it just aka buy because a good opportunity to get a cheap price.
According to bitstamp almost $3,000 drop just few hours  ago what do you think the reason why its drop my guest the news about hack business from few hours..

But the price is getting increase back that i think its a major correction everything we will see if what will be the price soon...
But hoping that the price won't go back to $12,000 value like the movement happen in bitstamp.
And yeah buying is always a good choice right now to buy a cheap price but the price is getting normal again..

More and more people try to cash out, because they're afraid of a correction coming up. This will cause a snowball effect, especially when whales also start dumping. Maybe the bitcoin futures will push the price a little up, but a correction or even a crash is inevitable. The price will drop to 8K. The price is going up too fast, a drop will come in 1 or 2 weeks.

LOL, What $8,000, the price drop to ~$13,000 but now it has recovered once again to $14,000 so I think it has slowly recovered by the price correction, I don't know where you get that $8,000 figure. I know that the price is getting up too fast, maybe because it is driven by all of this news regarding the bitcoin future contracts, but I doubt that it can go back to 4 figures once more. There's already a lot of cash poured into the market that the people will keep on buying eventhough the price is really that high for some. If its going to crash, not their year, this is just the beginning, and even a crash is good because its a perfect buying time but I doubt it will go that low to $8,000.
