I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'. My transaction has been stuck for 12 hours and I've already lost a good deal of cash waiting for it to go through.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.
But if you were so desperate to cash out soon why you sent a fee that will have your transaction stuck for 12 hours, if you do not mind waiting for a long time you can send a very low fee and see if the miners pick your transaction but if you want a fast confirmation you need to pay and if the amount of money you are trying to cash out is so small that the fee is a significant amount for you then you should not be cashing out at all.

I personally think that bitcoin's strong support level will be at $15k range. The traders are just taking a nap or some have took profit but it does not mean that bitcoin's price will crash. I believe that the amazing exponential growth will continue with slight dips in between which gives us opportunity to accumulate bitcoins at a lower price. Next week we may see another surprising event for bitcoin.

I suspect its due to loads of traffic that slowing the process. Also if you select a low transaction fee then it will be like that. I do had a same experience in blockchain but it was completed with in a day. You should've hold it for some more time until it grows more because we see tremendous growth is been observed everyday or a minute. Don't be stressed. let it go with a present. The price looks stable at ~$16k.

Not sure about the crash, but it would surely become stable at a stage whether higher than this or lower we will see. Because it cannot keep this pace for a very long time, and it has to stop at a certain point from where it will rather keep rapidly growing or it will quite drop down. A crash simply means it will drop back very low and that doesn't seems to happen very soon, but we never know what tomorrow brings. As long as we are on internet, anything is possible.

It is expected that bitcoin price will rise $20k by 2018. So those who are holding is having a great year ahead, therefore there is no chance for a crash, may be we can see some correction before, sure it will rise again after.

Expected speculation about the price is around 40k end of the 2018. As like that we are finding better growth in market place for bitcoin alone this time. We are finding ethereum and other some digital currencies bumping little bit alone with the bitcoin.
We can invest on bitcoin and as my knowledge we can go to invest on bitcoin now without any fear because bump will be keep on hitting in chart.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.

Mempool is clogged with more than 200K still unconfirmed. I also have struck transactions for the last 6 hours and I'm too have lost a significant amount already. However, I don't think that it will drop rapidly in the next few days. This correction is bound to happen, actually I believe that it could have happen much earlier, but people keeps on buying that's why we didn't see any obvious signs that there have been correction already, until today. Don't lose your mind, it will still continue to grow in the next coming days because we haven't seen bitcoin future contracts yet, which is scheduled on 10 December.

Until then, hold and don't cash out yet and please don't panic with this correction, it would be a minor one and will not have significant dent on the current price. Price could settle around $18K before the actual offering happen on 10 of December. And then CME will start as well on 18 of December. So we still have this two news drives the price up until the end of the year.

can you explain what makes your transactions stuck?
I do not understand why it can happen for more than 12 hours. does it happen where you are exchanging or because you are making a low fee transaction?
because here there is no explanation about your problem

Bitcoin crash is going to happen any time soon, the bubble may eventually burst but there is no idea, when this will happen. The crash may happen in the next 24 hours or may not happen until the next 24 days. All these things happening currently in the market has proved that Bitcoin is highly volatile and unstable currency. Due to which many ICO's are failing to raise funds as currently the whole epic center of market is one thing - Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will always fluctuate because there are no regulatory mechanisms controlling its turnover. We will always be hostage to speculative manipulation. But it doesn't bother me. I'm used to.

No one should be bothered by this market's fluctuations if people are long term minded. If you're not a trader, then just sit back and relax, because the volatility won't affect you at all, even not when on paper your coins have lost vale. Funny is that when people see Bitcoin increase, and thus they on paper made a profit, they are all excited, but when there is an on paper loss, people go nuts. People don't understand that if you don't sell or spend your coins, you haven't lost anything, and at the same time, you haven't gained anything. It's a very simple basic principle, but yet people are struggling to understand this and sell their coins in panic as result.

I don't think price crash will occur until the fork because the demand is getting increases due to the free coin from fork,so you will get good deal bro,the transaction is slower due to increase in number of pending transactions. So next time you can check the details of pending transaction in the blockchain website before sending or trading your bitcoin to avoid these kind of situation bro.

The price has been falling today and I expected there will be another shaking in this few days, but that was predictable because the price was moving too fast, but dont worry it will be recover, it is not crash but just a correction, and when correction happen the price will be going up again

It's possible that it will crash. I have friends sending me PMs that they're thinking of selling because they are worried it's gonna crash soon.

If that's how a lot of people are feeling, then yeah, it might crash as more try to get out and then lose when their transaction get stuck.

I've only tried shorting once and never tried it again because I also experienced getting stuck and then having a hard time finding a point to enter and buy using the "profit".

i do not think it will crash that soon to be honest,
because the demand is ridiculously high lately plus we're not yet get listed on CME group's futures at this moment,
do not you think it would be a joke, when they tried to add it at the same time its price fallen to the ground and do not show any sign of comeback.
but if we are talking about correction i believe it will be happen,or to be exact today we already see that right ?
i am not really sure if this downward movement will last long or it's just another bear trap like before.
we're yet to get listed on CME futures,so does that mean we still have a time to make another move ?
and also, lately i saw someone said like you.
he/she claimed the exact thing about 12 hours pending transaction,
may i know how much fees that you use when you did the transaction ? i just want to know,it's because of the fees or it's because of the network itself.

I sent from my Ledger to Coinbase.

this is not called "cashing out"!
How is that not called cashing out ? He's sending bitcoins to an exchange.

It's slowly crashing down right now from 18k (12 hours ago) to 14.6k. I was thinking to convert some earlier today but now that the price is heading down I changed my mind and decided to hold until the weekend. This is a good opportunity to buy more before the price starts to go back up.

Bitcoin pullback popularly known as correction had started having reached a highest high of +$16000 you better hold it because bitcoin always  pullback to 20% to 30% of it highest high before continuing the uptrend movement please relax and wait there is better days ahead.

It may, but I don't think that it will be for long duration. Bitcoin still have to go for long journey.

In the mean time, there so many news and speculations about Bitcoins will be published, which may impact on price of Bitcoins in upcoming period.

But still Bitcoin is really valuable asset/commodity as per consideration of future investment. Public awareness and interest about bitcoins is increasing rapidly which already take Bitcoins value to height and not signaling any down fall.

I hope it crashes, sseriously.
The rise has been to much, too quickly last few days it's not healthy.
We need a stable and slow increase to the moon
This is perfect but I think that this will not be soon. Bitcoin will always fluctuate because there are no regulatory mechanisms controlling its turnover. We will always be hostage to speculative manipulation. But it doesn't bother me. I'm used to.

and the issue is that you have simply included a small fee in your transaction. if you are afraid of the drop (crash) then just calculate how much you would lose in case of a crash and then compare it with the fee that you should pay if you want a high priority (400 satoshi/byte) if it is higher than that then just include a higher fee and sell as fast as you can.
