When the price rallied last time that is the day when Charlie Lee booked all of his holding in Litecoin and then went on to announce in social media about how he made a huge profit selling majority of the coins he was holding from the start Cheesy. When you have a creator who announces things like that and if anyone thinks that the price would rally to $1000 when even the creator does not believe will happen, how can we speculate about the price going to the moon in the next few years .
With halving of Litecoin, the mainstream of cryptocurrency, Litecoin as one of top and oldest altcoins, will have a future of FOMO from investors.

People did not believe Bitcoin will get price $64,000 and Ethereum has a new all time high more than $1,500. Finally, Ethereum has price more than $3,200 and if Ethereum can get price $10,000, Litecoin at $1,000 is possible.

I think it is a future if Bitcoin hits $100,000, Ethereum $10,000 and Litecoin can be one part of the FOMO wave in this 2021 bull run, $1,000 can be called for Litecoin.

last may Litecoin recorded a price of more than 400$ and this is enough reason to sell if you really holds since 2016 but of course , that is just a story to tell .

Its really possible but they need to create new marketing like improving their network. Im actually holding some ltc coins since 2016 but i never seen any big improvements since then but im not going to lose hope since i can actually use ltc coins because its really hassle free
There are improvements in the network from what they started and all the upgrades are done in time but the problem is that Litecoin is not getting the hype like Bitcoin or Ethereum whenever they make the upgrades or whenever there is a halving event. I do use Litecoin now a days simply because Dogecoin became expensive and after a long time i started to like them to make frequent transactions because the fees are really low.

When it comes to the valuation, the market determines the valuation and i have no idea how long it can go, but if you were lucky enough to get the coin when the price was really low, it is not a bad bet to get to the valuation it is now Grin.

Litecoin is one of the old altcoins that still survives today, even though the growth of LTC is very slow I believe that LTC will reach $1k someday, because this altcoin has a lot of potential that has a large community, hopefully the development team of this project can improve so that it can compete with new altcoins that have very high technology such as binance and monero.

Litecoin is probably one of the oldest (if not the oldest) cryptocurrencies being traded on the market these days besides Bitcoin. It's also the second most scarce cryptocurrency on the planet (84 million LTC will ever exist). For a cryptocurrency that's often similar to Bitcoin, I'm surprised that it's still far behind $1k. After all, Litecoin has cheaper fees and faster transaction confirmation times than Bitcoin itself. Of course, there are other altcoins that are much cheaper and faster than Litecoin. But they're not as scarce as Litecoin is.

Do you think it's possible Litecoin will reach $1k in the future? If not, why? Are current prices sustainable? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley

Indeed, their level of marketing does not seem to match the projects that existed at the same time, except for such a marketing issue, the latest tests or a roadmap update period remain unpublished, more precisely, litecoin is not knowing and not shaping what solutions it will provide to the market while other projects have shaped the future, I hate to say that litecoin is heavily imprinted on the silhouette of the past and no future. Long time without such reform, a new milestone just takes longer

Observing the development of the crypto market, I bet on the growth of the Litecoin price precisely for 2021, since I believe that it will be 2021 that will be similar to 2017. My opinion is based on the theory of the cyclical nature of the crypto market, each cycle of which is four years. So in the first stage of growth, LTC could not show rapid growth, which means there is still hope for the second stage of growth, which should peak at the end of 2021. However, it is difficult to say whether the price of LTC will be able to reach $ 1000 per coin, perhaps the price will be able to get closer and sotvazyvat $ 800 for 1 LTC. But no matter how it was, there is not long to wait for the result, and soon we will all find out what price peak Litecoin will have.
I'm not so sure anymore with the much-talked-about analysis based on the 4-year crypto market cycle.
many people assume that the situation will be the same as in 2017. but I still believe the situation will remain different.
we don't go back to those days. we're in a new trend that is better, I'm sure of it.
LTC has been waiting for the moment to rise again. but not yet seen because now the focus of the market I think is split into popular assets and new assets.
market confidence in new assets has also increased. this is good for investment and there will be growth in the market. hopefully, LTC can follow suit.

if we look at the rarity he could have touched the $1000 mark but it will be difficult because of the lack of people holding this coin it takes some to make him rare

The possibility of hitting the $1K price in the future lies with Litecoin as Litecoin's journey in the crypto market falls into the good and rare category. The highest price Litecoin has ever reached is $378. If Litecoin finds it difficult to break the $1K price, I think LTC will stay at $250.
I think Litecoin have a chance to break $1k but it will not be easy to lift the price to the high price because Litecoin price needs to break $500 and that is the first target price after the last ATH. Maybe Litecoin will break on that price in the next bull run, but it needs more time to reach $1k. Hopefully, this month and the next months will be better for Litecoin so the price can increase high and will break $1k.

Litecoin is one of the old altcoins that still survives today, indeed litecoin is growing very stable, but has huge potential in the future, if you look at its current movement, I believe that litecoin has a great opportunity to reach $ 1K,  but not anytime soon.
As long as I know Litecoin, I have never seen any wow surprises through Litecoin, although in general Litecoin is a good coin and not bad in potential, but if you play with Litecoin, then you have to have extra patience in waiting for the increase.

Cheap fees means nothing for now. There are bunch of smartcontract platforms that will let you to send amount with stabibility and cheap fees just like less than 1 cent for each transaction.
People were migrating from litecoin to the another coin that give them all more utility usage.

I don't think it's possible for litecoin to reach 1k in the future. The word of silve already gone. This is not a silver again.
Litecoin didn't have interesting thing to be used by the holders. These days people care about functionality and when a coin can't give it and then people will not FOMOing it.

This is the reason why it seems litecoin is being left behind. There are now new platforms that can offer cheap fees with other services. Whereas, ltc is still the same old alt. We are not seeing any updates to what they are up to. If we will not see updates or any developments in the future, I don't think this old alt will further increase its value. Reaching $1k is still very far from its current price. Before we see that price level, we need to see some updates from the ltc dev team. Are they still in continuous innovation on this network?

of course it can happen, just not in the near future, because in my opinion the journey for the price of Litecoin can reach $1k is still a long way, but it can be one of your choices to be made as an investment in the long term, because currently the price of Litecoin is still very cheap, so of course if the price of Litecoin reaches $1k, then you will get a lot of profit from investing in Litecoin at this time.

I almost forgot this coin because I almost never bought it...

Litecoin is one of the oldest alternative coins but the development is not that great. currently, the litecoin rating is down to 15 based on CMC, I'm not sure litecoin will ever touch $1000.

It's possible that Litecoin's price will reach $1k, but we'll have to wait 3 to 5 years. Since the current price will certainly change, even I think the crypto market will dump. I think the crypto market will last until the 5th month of 2022. Although our hope will continue as it is today.
What do you mean by that, what happens to the cryptocurrency market after May 2022, are you suggesting that we see a major correction. If that is the case i am expecting a major correction well before that.

There is never a no when it comes to the cryptocurrency market, it is possible that the price would reach $1k but for that to happen there must an hype in the market about any major changes in the network  Grin.

It only has to do 5x-6x.

That's possible. If bitcoin continues to skyrocket, it is going to affect most of the altcoins and Litecoin will also be affected by it.

But there's no timeframe for it, we can only say that there's the possibility but we don't know how much bitcoin should be and when.
