ETH has some cool technological advantages, like the option to build your own cryptocurrency on top of the already existing network. I feel like the term "AWS but for blockchain" is quiet fitting.
If we compare it to games, it's like a game that has crazily good modsupport.
Also blocks are mined in 14s (hard coded, no matter how big the network is) instead of 8m, which provides a much faster network compared to BTC.
My crazy and dreamlike prediction is that at some point, people will be using ETH for all kinds of transactions without even knowing what it is.

I will stop mining because the mining is meaningless and just a waste of energy, so this is the difference between the POS mechanism and the POW mechanism, and I prefer the way of saving energy.
If you think amateur home-mining, IMO it wouldn't last long. Really big players gonna jump in, they will have much better efficiency, so small players would be out of the game. We (small miners) have maybe few years max before that happens.
I think it is about profit, if mining of a coin is no longer profitable then no one want to mine it at a loss. For bitcoin we may see this in the future.
Mining in BTC will eventually stop, as it has been built to do that. Eventually they will stop giving any rewards for it, in a couple of years that was always the idea, if they dont do tha it will be the same as any other currecny in wich they keep printing more to cope with the market.
first, mining is never stop because of the demand vs supply. like the price of each coins in their own blockchain will totally never stop too.
second, dont bother of what will happen if miners reached its maximum supply of each coins because im sure you are not in here if that happen, it takes hundred years before they totally mined all of that supply into maximun limit. then the continuation of that coins is ( we dont know ) because we are all dead at that time.

It will not stop in nearest future. If some currencies will be fully mined, there will be other coins to mine. And those mined coins will have more price.
Mining of popular coins will come to its logical end one day. The next day they will grow Sky high. But new alts are created every days and people will be mining them.
Mining will constantly working as long as there’s a created coin everytime.. It won’t be stop because it’s out of bitcoins to mine because alternative coins are available also for that purpose and even more efficient and effective in some reason.. I’m planning to build one of my own when money or capital is reach for that..

Year by year the mining difficulty increased, so does the power needed to run the miners. We know that even the Bitcoin mining power is really dirty. the Co2 emissions from Bitcoin are tremendous. I believe once there is a better technology, many people will lose interest in mining.
I think mining will never stop because there will slao have some new coins come into being. As long as there are coins, there will be mining all the time. When the coin reach its limit, something new will appear and there are more thing to do.
Mining will never stop and still ever remain as far as Internet remain. New coins are coming out every days and I think outside bitcoin and ethereum there are other coin that is doing very well. I have no interest in mining because I have little knowledge on how mining work.

I think it's not going to end because of the very high values of today like eth too much in ethics so it's good to hold and mine in eth and I think in the next few months eth price will be higher

As a matter of fact mining will never stop until there is a complete shut down of the cryptocurrenies (i mean each and every crypto coins). If in coming years bitcoin reaches its limit then the miners would find other altcoins to mine where they could find profit. Mining is the root of generation of crypto coins so if the cryptocurrencies will survive so will the mining as simple as that. 1 - will mining will ever stop

I think that there should be no doubt about the crypt and mining. the influence,that coins already have made on the world economy is very significant! Mining will not stop, only coins will change and the complexity of the calculations.

It stops when everyone who is mining will stop and it is not possible as of now .. 
Mining will have to stop soon because no machine can handle the diff rate keep increase.

second answer I think if it reaches the limit of like bitcoin 12m It will be more expensive and will rise upon reaching the cap because coins will get more rarer after that
