Surely it will, seeing how the growth of bitcoin goes in the first 9 years it is really amazing. I know like what gold reach in the market bitcoin will continue to become the number 1 crypto currency and more countries will start accepting it in their market soon this currency will become the worlds main coin that can be use in all transactions around the world. People will also keep looking for it and investing on it.
Even today we can say that this is the time of BTC,and that this year is one of the best and most interesting since BTC exists.The future is always uncertain but we all hope it will be great and that this year is only the beginning of new achievements.
There is no doubt that users base is increases on daily basis,there are more and more merchants who accept BTC all over the world and many governments make positive decisions and laws enabling easier adaptation of BTC in everyday life.
There are some problems that need to be solved by developers,transaction should be faster and cheaper and situation like few days ago should become a thing of the past.That is a big challenge today,when this is solved, BTC will become stronger and more interesting for new investors.

Although Bitcoin is not legalized worldwide so people can use it easily like cash but they still use it for everything they want. The number of online and offline place accept Bitcoin for payment are increasing as well. Bitcoin is being considered like a new payment method for all over the world, very fast, convinient and safe. I don't really know how exactly long it will happen but it'll replace cash soon.

As by seeing the usage graph and profiting graph i can easily assume that in next decade of 2020 people will mainly relay on bitcoin and the main thing to survive in the next era will be bitcoin and it will be frequently used by everyone and that will help many regions to boost their economy as well so hope for the best, many people are eagerly waiting for the btc system to be implemented.
I wouldn`t say that it will be the "bitcoin" era for sure.It might be the "crypto era" or "blockchain era".
Bitcoin might hit 100000 USD,or might be destroyed by the governments.Cryptocurrencies might become the
new "offshore world" and replace all the small island countires with very low taxation.If this happens,the politics around the world will keep their dirty money by buying cryptocurrencies and they will be afraid to ban

Bitcoin is looking good as of now. It has a potential that it will increase when the year ends. But still, we are not lord to predict what will happen when the year past by. It such that we must maintain its status and not to be such a moron to lose the popularity of it.
I hear a rumor that Costco Wholesale and Walmart will be trialing bitcoin as a form of payments in early 2019, that is really a good sign, I bet in the near end of 2019, almost everyone will accept bitcoin. This is a really bright future for bitcoin because if more people already understand the technology behind bitcoin and bitcoin becomes a well-understood financial asset, the price will stabilize. I do agree in next 5-20 years, bitcoins will become more popular. I read some statement, "Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million in 5-10 Years" which means bitcoins will over valued. They believe in new decade many demands in market about bitcoins. But for how this will help many regions to boost their economy as well, I still doubt it.
Well looking at the number of all time transactions you are right as it has tremendously increased this 2017 but it does not say if that number of transactions came from new users or it is just the old users increasing their usage of Bitcoin. It looks like the number of transactions will still increase year on year as it is still not over for Bitcoin to gain some new users for it. But let us not get our hopes up that we need Bitcoin in order to survive in the future as there are other means of earning additional income, let us not narrow our options into just cryptocurrency in general.
